The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers (AMPTP) have finally come to an agreement, ending a 100+ day strike that began on May 2. This resolution comes after a lengthy negotiation process resulting in studio concessions in the following areas:
  • Increases in pay for streaming and cable shows

  • An additional $15 million to fund health benefits

  • Improvements to pension contributions

  • A new minimum salary for television writers
