Is India Changing Its Name to Bharat?
- Invites sent by the Indian President addressed him as the "President of Bharat" for a G20 dinner have stirred speculation that the government may be about to change the country's name.

- Changing India's name to only Bharat would require an amendment to the constitution, a two-thirds majority in both houses of parliament, and support from the ruling BJP and its ideological parent the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
- The incident has prompted unconfirmed reports that a name change could be discussed in a five-day special session of parliament later this month. But no confirmation has been given as yet.

But what measures are being taken to ensure the accuracy of the content generated by the algorithms?
- Google's new political content policy will require verified election advertisers to include disclosures in clear locations on images and videos.
- Audio content and AI generated content that are "inconsequential to the claims made in the ad" such as color corrections and image resizing, are exempt.
- Videos uploaded to YouTube, even if uploaded by political campaigns, are also exempt if they aren't paid advertising.
- Google is leveraging both human and tech tools to enforce the disclosures and plans to refine the guidelines as artificial intelligence becomes more commonplace.
- But who is keeping an eye on those keeping an eye on this? Source : Read More
