Israel Eliminated Hezbollah’s Leader
On Friday afternoon, Israel killed Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah. Israel has now eliminated half of Hezbollah’s leadership council this year, including eight of its nine top military commanders.
Israeli forces deployed nearly 80 tons of explosives, using 85 specialized “bunker-buster” bombs. These bombs can penetrate 30 meters of earth or 6 meters of concrete.
The attack targeted an underground bunker over 60 feet deep, where Nasrallah met with senior officials.
Sources indicate that Hezbollah suffered a severe infiltration, leading to the successful targeting of Nasrallah at a command HQ. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized the strike just before addressing the United Nations General Assembly.

AI Hacking vs. AI Defense
AI is improving phishing schemes, such as the notorious "Nigerian Prince" emails. New tools allow hackers to craft persuasive messages, increasing their success rate. Traditional scams are losing their telltale signs as language barriers fade.
Moreover, AI is accelerating "spearphishing," targeting high-profile individuals. Hackers can now gather information in minutes rather than days. This shift lower costs for attackers.
AI also aids defenders by automating security tasks and analyzing patterns.
However, the risks of deepfakes complicate identity verification, allowing hackers to bypass security measures.
