Stranded Astronauts Return to Earth
Four astronauts returned to Earth. Their stay lasted almost eight months due to Boeing's capsule issues and Hurricane Milton. The SpaceX Dragon Endeavour capsule landed in the Gulf of Mexico near Pensacola, Florida.
NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin were aboard.
After splashdown, one astronaut faced a medical issue and was taken to a hospital in Pensacola for precautionary evaluation. NASA reported that this astronaut remained in stable condition.
The remaining three crew members underwent routine medical checks and returned to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. Their replacements, two Starliner test pilots, will stay on the space station until February.
