chri...Trump created bogus prosecutions by inept prosecutors. All retribution efforts should be negated.
suzh...The judicial branch is responsible for insuring legal integrity of government actions. Trump tyranny is void of legal integrity and must be shut down through legal decisions of the judiciary. Right now the DOJ is a circus if untrained clown sho have no idea what the law is. Time for judiciary to do what this judge us doing….shut down the corruption and misused of government processes for personal delusional revenge and retribution.
cica...There is nothing coming out of this justice department that can be trusted at face value. This will go down as the most corrupt administration in American history.
mr.h...If any of those idiots who claim that this is an overreach were on trial, they would change their tone in a heartbeat. Ignorance is bliss!
ronp...I believe that the all the information should be open that’s fair no stacking the deck like admin. Likes to do.
usct...This is all a part of Trump’s retribution.
kirb...Looks like another Judicial overreach! Where were these Judges when Comey was presenting false information to courts to obtain warrants to spy on U. S. Citizens?!!
rtet...The Comey and Letitia James prosecutions are Trump witch hunts. Period. So sloppily done, that they will be thrown out by the court because of gross procedural errors. But what else would you expect from a man who only hires sycophants and grifters?
rand...Trump is a criminal intent on destroying anyone who has spoken out against him! Comey helped him get elected then realized what a mistake it was to make him the most powerful person in the world! Lord help America survive
jose...The DOJ is lawless under Trump!
jmla...Halligan did not even understand and know the two basic foundations of our criminal justice system - the presumption of innocence and the burden of proof on the government! This is taught in seventh grade civics! Who took the bar exam for her?
bren...Nothing like some disclosure and the light of public scrutiny to expose the cockroaches that have taken over the department of justice!
hine...unsure. It all depends on who they are to be released to. not the news, which would just fuel the political fight covering up the actual investigation of the crime allegedly committed. If all criminal cases against Democrat party individuals are to go through this process then somehow the parties need to agree that a special commission must be set up to deal with all politically motivated smoke on any investigation process. People like Hillary Clinton haven't even been indicted and the world knows she violated the laws on documents and information handling and committed crimes of destroying information. Politics is getting in the way of actually applying the law equally on all parties to the end of the processes.
atli...Revenge is a barbaric justification for legal attacks
mdul...I think that close to 100% of Americans agree on one simple truth in this matter - that Trump forced the DOJ to indict. MAGA will say that he needed to do it since the professional DOJ litigators refused to indict for lack of evidence but that Trump knows better and we should all trust that to be the case. Non-MAGA will simply note that Trump has turned the DOJ into his personal law firm to do his bidding including example after example of selective prosecution to target opponents and those he wants to punish.
tgba...This is further effort to cover for the corruption of the Obama administration
mdav...Who is this judge? What are his political views? Who appointed him?
moni...The current administration has proven itself to be incompetent and corrupt this is a man’s life it is not overreach.
nanc...It doesn’t sound like this was above board and the person prosecuting may not even have the credentials required.
mich...Laughably obvious clumsy retribution from the Trump regime. I continue to be amazed his loyalists follow him on the road to his own ruin. Look forward to when it all falls apart and he becomes accountable, as will his co-conspirators.
akyg...Trump’s persecution of political opponents has to be stopped. It is not the American way. It is the Russian way.
ent....In this case it seems releasing sealed grand jury materials may be justified in order to expose the likely incompetent, and probably illegal methods being used by Mr. Dump’s DOJ in this vindictive action.
kold...This is a fasicist use of the JD as a political weapon.
debb...Just another revenge case because he didn't like the outcome
amow...Didn’t request that for Democrat cases! I see a pattern!
lady...I don’t believe any of the allegations! It’s all trumped up!!
bjef...This case would never have been brought. The case should be against Bondi and Trump.
mogb...Prosecutorial misconduct, if proven, should be grounds for a dismissal.
42ms...I want Trump to face justice for his deeds and lies.
norm...The Comey case is a real Witch hunt!
aunt...The Pres is being allowed to use the US Attorney General - THE PEOPLE'S attorney, as his own private attorney!
phil...DOJ and Halligan and Bondi in particular needed to be schooled in the responsibilities of prosecutors to seek justice within the law.
patp...Somehow the courts have to stop this crazy president.
chri...The root of the problem is having members of the federal judiciary who are appointed by the federal executive. When the executive branch has no capacity for competent governance and there is no check on their judicial influence, political corruption is the inevitable consequence.
cdm8...Comey was one of the best FBI directors we ever had. Trump is hunting with malice and ill will. We know why!
kelt...Let me guess: Biden judge?
cger...Democrats are Despicable. The Obama/Biden administration weaponized the CIA & FBI against their political opponent using a known fabricated Clinton dossier as leverage for warrants to spy and persecute them. Just because the corporate media is on their side, protecting and sheltering them unlike how when Republicans had their Watergate it was hounded and expounded on into infinity and beyond, no body is really aware of how treasonous this act really is.
jone...These cases clearly demonstrate that there is no evidence and is based on vindictiveness on Trumps part.
euge...Defense team was present for the grand jury hearings, unless they were sleeping they would know what preliminary evidence was presented
pris...Absolutely, Special Counsel John Durham report after 2 years of investigation there was no Russian collusion with Trump's campaign and it started with Hillary Clinton. then Comey exonerated her saying no reasonable court would prosecute her even though she had illegal computers in her home, etc and this was a ploy to discredit Trump.
katl...The judicial system and judges are America’s saving grace against corrupt and illegal actions by this administration.
kvas...Instead of searching for truth and protecting the public, Orange Boy has weaponized the Department of Justice to make it a vendetta organization. Maggot Heads will toe the line and accuse "liberal Dems" of being soft on crime or being against anything Orange Boy does (not wrong there, at least). These same Maggot Heads think of themselves as patriots. What, exactly, is patriotic about consciously and cynically undoing the rule of law and replacing it with the rule of favoritism? if you oppose Trumpty Dumpty, you're a criminal. If you blindly cheer every stupid thing he does, then you're a patriot. That's just mob (or cult) mentality, and not the mentality this country's founders envisioned.
juju...The whole Russia collusion was a lie & a hoax. They need to do anything necessary to uncover the corruption that started all of this
jpol...The DOJ has now become an agency which only pursues Trump's grievances against his political enemies. There's no Justice left in today's DOJ.
mshr...Seasoned attorneys quit rather than be forced to put together a weak or shame case.

How likely is Nvidia’s upcoming earnings report to significantly influence the overall market direction for 2025?

  • 73% Very likely
  • 21% Not very likely

cger...Bubbles have a way of encompassing everything.
jra9...It’s likely baked in
nanc...Not sure. There seems to be a feeling that a market correction is coming soon.
hine...Unfortunately, the issue isn't how significantly but that it will thereby creating false movements and actions taken in many sectors because of the derivatives market. There are no hard assets of Nvidia but rather programming and sales. It could dissappear tomorrow and the real basis of America's economy wouldn't be affected because another dot.com or AI or not physical asset based company would take it's place overnight. There needs to be a different metric of reporting the market which was intended to indicate how the country as a whole was doing and not just an easily replaceable in the short term tech company. there needs to be some component of longevity period of replacement in a company to make a sampling reference like the S&P500 which more realistically indicates how it is affecting the country on the long term thereby eliminating effects of the derivatives trades on the short term values.
kvas...Who knows what will move the market in either direction? I think the market reflects the emotional state (carefully cloaked in statistics and economic mumbo jumbo) of the group who participate in buying and selling on the market. Will Nvidia have an impact? Impossible to say. Stock market analysis is completely Monday morning quarterbacking, and nobody has the crystal ball that will accurately forecast the future. At best, the 50-year or 100-year history of the market suggests that it will continue to go up, but on a day-to-day or month-to-month basis it will either go up or it will go down, unless it stays the same.

Should the U.S. sell advanced F-35 jets to Saudi Arabia despite potential risks to Israel’s military advantage?

atli...A better solution is to sell weapons to neither country.
hine...The real issue is how many different countries in the Middle East must be equally armed to create détente in that region? Isreal has them so someone on the otherside must also to deter Isreal from overstepping its use of them. If you give the Sunnis in Saudi Arabia F35s do you then need to give the Shiites some to protect themselves against the Sunni's? And on and on. High military grade technology is like nuclear proliferation - someone is going to abuse it if detente isn't existing between the nations. The exact example of this is Russia using high tech to continue destroying Ukraine, then the US indirectly makes available high tech to Ukraine so they can make the Russians feel the same level of pain and effect that they are. If they finally reach a balance then some type of detente and peace deal can be signed. Until the Russians don't feel the same level of pain they are inflicting then they won't stop their aggression. So, back to Saudi - will Saudi agree that they will only use them against other Arabic countries or again Isreal in their own defense as a reactionary action only and who is to decide when that is okay?
jlin...Not a good transaction for our country's security
katl...US should not sell superior weapons to any country that may use them against us or democratic countries.
cger...It's an incentive for them to get onboard with the middle east peace project. But then, most of your readers LOVE wars like Ukraine and Hamas invading and killing Israelis.
usct...This technology could be given to potential opponents.
cath...The Saudis were responsible for 911 and the Crown Prince ordered the death of a western journalist. Why are we arming them?
sue....There are so many reasons this sale is not in the best interests of Americans. That ought to be the question.
dort...The Saudis cannot be trusted. They were the instigators on 9/11. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
ocds...Orange idiot rages about "Muslim threat" Mamdani while selling fighter jets to Oil rich Muslim nation.
mari...Poses a risk.

Do you believe the SEC’s pause on ruling proxy objections until mid-2026 primarily helps companies or shareholders?

  • 77% Helps companies
  • 15% About equally helps both
  • 8% Helps shareholders

bjef...These laws aren't designed to help shareholders. Why even ask?
hine...Again, the real question is should shareholders have any type of proxy vote other than changing out the Board of Directors of a company? Investments in a company shouldn't be to make decisions for it by non-professional persons in that industry but rather to support the growth of what a company has already been defined as being and trying to do by the original executives and boards. Buying the majority of the shares of a company so that you can push ESG concepts on a company who was founded to fabricate something changes the total concept of why a company needs additional financing from the public market. If we keep permitting that door to be open permitting agenda based investors to change and control companies then all identity of companies will be destroyed.
