cesv...China should not do what trump wants because it was trump that started tarrifs which now created a lot of problems for farmers and we consumers are the losers because groceries are very expensive. I am not a fan of china in fact I prefer to buy US products if I can but I don’t like this tarrifs thing because people can hardly afford basic groceries
jose...They will buy cooking oil from another country.
wald...Seems the only ones profiting from the trade sanctions are people in government and their families
sara...A comprehensive trade agreement is needed, not random shouting about individual products.. FAFO, maga.
bdh2...Trump has no idea what he’s doing unless he’s attacking someone personally. That’s h the only play in his book
deca...Get rid of tariffs! You started this trading war and then call everyone else hostile for treating you the same way?!? The problem here is he is a bully who doesn’t like when people stand up to him. Other countries do not need to trade with the United States!!!!!!! We are replaceable.
wfar...Are we supposed to let China continue to screw us over? NO! Wimpy demonrats ain’t runnin the show no more! America first baby! 65% day no to this? Shows what dummy’s America has become.
jmla...More moronic musings of an insecure child-like narcissist! Not surprising.
jani...We are not children on a playground. You do not negotiate by threatening or bullying - you have conversations and negotiate through them.
crai...China is holding the cards. Trump's an idiot.
kold...China is not going to succumb to pressure to buy US soybeans. Their re-marketing to South America is permanent, at least as long as Trump is president.
jmbt...Trump has no leverage. It's time for him to scale back and make concessions.
rsti...Impeach demented Trump. Unfit for office MAGA Republicans are cult members and traitors
orth...He must be kidding. China has built brides across the global trading community and we pull a rabbit out of the hat and punish them by limiting cooking oil.
chri...China doesn't give a f*ck. And good for them!
rmac...The liberals will go against President Trumps policies no matter what they are, they don’t even understand what he’s trying to do for Americans!
ceal...The Communist Chinese are not our friends.
inla...Why are we giving Argevntina 20 billion if they are selling soybeans to China?
cica...Not a smart move
laum...More to the point, having a failed businessman pedophile rapist in the White House is not a good economic plan for the United States.
atli...Removing the tariffs against China is the only effective way of generating prosperity for both countries.
pete...There's no point Trump playing his usual crude games with China, they're a lot smarter.
glen...Culturally and economically tone deaf
dret...This is just madness and insane
bret...Stop the trade war. Treat other countries with respect and trade will naturally return. Should countries impose unfair trade practices on the US, it would be appropriate to take actions but that is not how this all started. It is also acceptable to protect industries needed for defense.
jdan...Trump is an idiot when it comes to trade.
rtet...Xi Jinping is playing the long game. Trump is a greedy opportunist trying to salvage his global trade war. If he were winning, and such a great negotiator, why does he have to keep revisiting tariffs every week?
mcma...Nothing trump does works. He needs to be removed.
tubi...LOL! now he's going to ruin the corn farmers as well.
brow...Trump tactics are hostile and will not illicit friendly relations.
mdea...It’s unrealistic- just cut the tariffs

Should Hamas be forcibly disarmed by outside powers if it refuses to disarm voluntarily?

  • 77% Yes
  • 13% No
  • 11% Unsure

jeff...I fear that after a peaceful start, Hamas will resume its life work of terror.
anni...They are protecting their land. They shouldn’t be forced to disarm since Israel continues to break ceasefire deals and continue to kill Palestinians with their booby traps. How about the IDF being forced to remove all booby traps so that children aren't getting injured/dying from them instead.
brow...Israel cannot be trusted. STOP.
gjmi...Hamas must be removed entirely
nanc...Not many options here. Hamas has to disarm to make this work.
priv...No brainer and I would love to hear an argument on why someone would put no.
pete...That's what Israel have been trying to do for the last two years, with very little success. All they've achieved is 66,000 plus dead Palestinians, mostly women and children, and international hostility to their approach. It's about time we learned that negotiation is the intelligent way to go.
lora...Hamas is a terrorist organization. They need to be disarmed even if it takes force.
mart...Enough
jose...This shows how fragile the peace plan is.
tomd...Aggressors need to be stopped as soon as possible, as the problem continues to grow the more we delay. This has proven true time and time again. So let's not wait until it escalates further.
amia...Hamas should disarm when Israel does.
derr...Hamas must be dethroned... Finish the job for lasting peace
perm...Hamas should be toppled completely. Any further loss of life lies squarely in their refusal to comply and their continual lies and deception.
alex...They're inhuman animals and need to be put down.
marl...the weakness of the peace deal is that it did not seek elimination of HAMAS
kran...These muslims lie with every breath. They need to be exposed as such and eliminated. Their counterparts in Syria are slaughtering Orthodox and Catholics in Syria. Where's the media coverage?
cepo...Have to go to have any chance of peace.
csbr...The IDF should also be forcibly disarmed, they are a US sponsored terrorist organization as well.
myro...Hamas is the problem. Hamas has always been the problem. Why is this still a mystery to anyone?
dort...Hamas are just bloodthirsty savages
crus..."Forcibly disarm" is just war again.
arth...Yes, but at the same time all armed clans have to give up arms at the same time. Guns should be outlawed in the whole country because of the threat of civil war.
lkre...It’s ridiculous anyone thought the plan would work. They have too much hate to change.
kelt...It's a must or it will all start again

Should the US use military force in international waters against suspected drug-smuggling vessels?

  • 54% No
  • 46% Yes

meri...Any action should be limited to boarding and arresting those where there is suffucuant evidence to charge them. NOT BLOWING UP PEOPLE WITHOUT PROOF.
godi...The vessels should be seized upon entering US waters. Anyone on board should then be tried and sentenced appropriately.
rbow...These guys have to be stopped
milt...What the point? To end the flow of drugs? Violence and military might have never stopped drugs from flowing into our country. When will we ever learn our drug problem is our issue.
lkdn...Non lethal military force only. Since we can spot these boats then we can interdict them.
ebr....No way. It’s international waters, aka no man’s land. Do us Americans want to be sniped when cruising in international waters? No. It’s not fair and a violation of global treaties and laws. This corrupt regime should not be in power.
pjpa...400,000 dead young American families demand it
dano...Suspected smugglers should be detained, judged and sentenced. Doing otherwise is murder.
gkea...As long as it doesn’t hurt other military priorities
john...Use 'force' but that does not mean killing them. Round them up and put them on trial....but first---be sure there are actually drugs on board!
lora...We need to stop the drugs coming into the US. We should make drug laws that include death penalty for drug dealers who get caught selling illegal drugs such as Cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. We should also give anyone buying these drugs 10 years in prison for using these drugs, including politicians and the elite.
dcin...we are not the world police and who believes anything a TACO says, yet again zero proof or investigations, just a bunch of old white men raging war on minorities.
elgo...Make it just too dangerous to smuggle drugs on the open seas. Besides, they will have to expose their other methods to move the product and those need to be shut down also. As far as critics and moralists are concerned it’s lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!
mdul...For those who think that the US should be allowed to use military force on boats in international waters, I wonder whether they would feel the same if Venezuela started downing American boats & yachts in international waters, alleging that they were on their way to Venezuela to seek regime change. In both cases, there is no proof of any such intention, there is no way to verify the actual intentions of those aboard, and the decision to take lives rests solely with one man with an agenda.
cica...Not search and destroy missions. If they can interdict that traffic using due process that’s one thing. But just blowing boats out of the water without proof and evidence is a crime.
rif5...Suspected criminal should be arrested and tried in court - summary execution on mere suspicion is barbaric
dpwo...How do you know they are smuggling drugs?
mich...Suspected does not mean that the vessel actually carries drugs and in international waters means it is outside the U.S. waters. Attacking the vessels is wrong and could be viewed as an act of war
bnig...Where's the PROOF?
bret...Not only does this action prevent individuals from receiving a fair trial but it also puts Americans living abroad or simply vacationing at risk of retaliation. Cartels have announced retribution plans against Americans in areas they have a strong presence in.
brow...Wrong strategy. No intelligent planning. Even blowing up ships is devastating to the sea animals. Trump only knows BRUT FORCE strategy. Not a problem fix.
arno...We should be following the same protocol the USCG and verify that there is contraband aboard the vessel.
rich...The US should track these boats - if intelligence has confirmed they are transporting narcotics - until they are in US waters. Then warn occupants to surrender or be blown up.
robf...SD Hegseth erroneous in armed conflict assertion. USCG and DEA already had LE mission under control. This is a showboating attempt by administration.
ming...Due process
jeff...This is highly illegal and unconstitutional!!!
ksta...Key word is international.
priv...again I ask, why would you vote no? Please give me some logical explanations.
joyo...If they are in fact transporting drugs
mads...No if that means bombing them. Yes if they just take the drugs and arrest them.
hild...Regime change is the goal of this escalation. Very few drugs are actually out of Venezuela
drji...Who would say no on this? Deplorable and not interested in helping the US or its young people.
pete...It's a breach of International law and not the way for any civilized nation to behave. Would it be ok for other countries to destroy American vessels in American waters if they thought they were gun runners or drug smugglers?
tubi...not US jurisdiction. and doing so is called piracy(not terrorism).
rtet...Extrajudicial killings are exactly what these military strikes are. If another nation used military force and killed US civilians multiple times, the US government would consider it an act of war. The Trump regime has done nothing to reduce drug addiction in the US. Instead, it is cutting healthcare.

Do you believe another Fed interest rate cut will help stabilize the economy or risk creating new problems?

  • 44% Help stabilize
  • 39% Create new problems
  • 17% Unsure

bret...Low rates are unlikely to stimulate job growth but could enable companies to pass along tariff impacts to the consumer. Stocks are already in a bubble, Low rates could stimulate the bubble more.
nanc...Unemployment is ticking up in my area. An interest rate cut might help reinvigorate our sluggish economy.
jeff...Who knows???
bbre...I think it’s psychologically going to help people feel better about the economy. I’m not sure it’s actually going to help. Tariffs seem to be the big problem.
brad...The Fed is stuck between a rock and a hard place thanks to Bozo in Chief.
kmmo...We have not received any updated reports of spending whether sending troops to states, ICE spending and or presidents decorating and renovations of the white house. Spending is out of control
cdma...It would create more problems.
rich...Scaling back or eliminating tariffs will allow rate cuts after a few months.

Would you personally consider taking a psychedelic-derived medication if it promised significantly better relief from severe anxiety?

sybi...These potentially helpful chemicals should be schedule to a lower scale to allow appropriate research
gmar...Of course
crai...Let's fund more experiments. There's lots of anecdotal evidence that is promising enough to justify more science-driven experiments.
supi...Anxiety is a symptom of an underlying cause--better to use meditation and body oriented psychotherapy such as bioenergetics that address the root rather than using drugs. The only way out is through.

Do you think the common assumption that diet sodas are healthier than sugary sodas should change based on this study?

  • 75% Yes
  • 15% No
  • 10% Unsure

glos...This study only assesses the impact of sugar sodas on the liver. Although diet sodas are harder the liver, sugar sodas cause many other problems, including diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, among others.
nanc...Artificial sweeteners have been shown to negatively impact gut health, contribute to insulin resistance, and erode tooth enamel. There are also indications they can cause cancer and cardiovascular problems.
akyg...Bring back natural ingredients.
bret...Diet sodas are not healthier than regular soda in just about any metric. Diet soda doesn't reduce diabetes, has heightened cancer risk and apparently destroys the liver.
csbr...It s imperative to keep the general public sick to keep the pharmaceutical industry profitable. Most Americans are ignorant of the implications, let them get what they deserve.
meri...All are bad
milt...Soft drinks with sugar are a problem as well. Milk anyone?
ebr....What a confusing way to ask a question. Yes, change the labels. Diet sodas are not necessarily healthy.
rtet...Diet soda damages your liver. Tylenol doesn't cause autism. But the more than 40,000 chemicals used in consumer products is negatively impacting our overall health.
esc....If SSBs/LNSSBs were directly causing the liver problems, switching between them should show a difference, but it doesn’t. If water were directly protective, the risk reduction should be much larger, but it’s modest. The simplest explanation: people who habitually drink sweetened beverages differ systematically from people who drink water in ways the study can’t fully measure.
