EmailComments
timo...I think he has no idea what he is doing.
caro...He’s an awful negotiator
marc...This is a major ploy to get Musks Starlink shoved down every Country’s throat. And the US consumer is paying the tariffs during this diabolical game
dsbl...I have faith in his ability.
ajha...The man has no social skills, no economic expertise, and listens to no one who does. He has alienated our allies and made us global pariahs. He surrounds himself with the worst of the worst, their only traits be that of sycophants.
mitc...How confident would you be about Biden negotiating trade deals?
glen...He's a Buffoon
mark...He is bankrupting USA like he does everything, including his own businesses, again and again. He is driven by personal greed, not the Country or people.
zack...TDS is strong here
mary...President Trump is a narcissist with delusions of grandeur. He can't negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag. His incorrect understanding of tariffs and his expressed lack of concern for anyone poorer than him is causing real problems. And causing our allies to turn away from us. We could end up in a real economic crisis not seen since the Great Depression. And no one seems to care. So many Americans think the convicted felon currently serving as president can do no wrong, even as he smacks them in the face.
neil...He's an ignoramus and felon.
sims...Not sure if the American people will see any benefit from these deals
ross...Trump is the first president to actually hold these other countries accountable for the tariffs they put on our goods. It’s about time!
clay...Donald Trump is a born deal maker. That is a main reason I hired him to fix our country. He has actually gotten more done in his first 100 days than I thought anyone could. Thank you President Trump.
doct...Bozo
jllm...I worked on Trump‘s contracted jobs and his only negotiating tool is not to pay. How can he possibly negotiate an international trade deal? What a joke
avaa...He's a convicted felon and should be in a jail cell maybe on alcatraz
paul...Simple we are their biggest trading partner and previous Presidents haven’t had the courage to do what Trump is doing
eliz...I’m not confident on his ability in relation to anything.
tiny...Donald clearly has dementia. He can easily be fooled and the GOP are playing him as their puppet like they did Ronald Reagan. He has a childlike understanding of the world. He is not playing 3d chess. He is watching a movie and tweeting crazy things.
wvoe...His treasury secretary can't even tell you who pays for tariffs
ktil...He's a bully not a negotiator, there is a huge difference.
debb...The man is a lunatic and a liar.
mdul...I'm not confident that Trump is able to negotiate international trade deals since the degree of complexity in these discussion is high and he is incapable of understanding most of the issues, let alone seeing all the pieces on the board that can be manipulated to achieve a desired outcome. However, I am very confident in his ability to make it seem like he has masterfully achieved a historic outcome with each announced deal, the likes of which have never been seen before and that could never have been achieved without his masterful genius at work (his likely words, not mine).
swee...I am thrilled with all changes he is making and that they are best for America.
clai...He's nothing more than a bombastic egotist who should not be running a company let alone a country.
twer...Poor track record of success. Spends too much time golfing
mike...Erratic, bombastic, name calling, bullying is not negotiations.
bret...No doubt he will declare victory regardless of trade terms. He will mostly stick to tariffs. Once spending is perceived as stable, companies will raise prices to counter tariffs.
nanc...This is all smoke and mirrors with the UK. Trump is trying to solve a problem that didn’t exist, except in his feeble mind…
mrsj...The current president is incapable of effectively executing the duties of his office.
jpsn...Unfair trade has been occurring for too long and I’m happy to see it finally being addressed S
priv...I am curious the thought process from answers of Not confident at all. Is there something that I am missing? What knowledge gives someone to give this kind of response?
cica...He’s an arsonist, a grifter and a con man. The only thing he cares about is himself his wealth, his ego.
jnco...He is only interested in taking advantage and using any kind of “achievement“ (in his view) as propaganda gimmick
brad...It’s all for his ego. He will claim victory no matter what happens. This guy is a clown.
eliz...Lmao. Your readers are obviously Harris/Biden supporters
bets...It's all a hoax anyway. While I might agree we don't necessarily "need" an overload of products from China There are no Industries coming "back" to America. The ones we have can't make it. (automobiles for example). The administration seems hell bent on just setting things up for a world war. I don't understand the motive--I mean who's going to benefit ? I think the United States is for sale under this administration.
mayb...President Trump has American's best interest. It is about time we have a president who stands up for America. The tariff trade imbalance must be between America and other countries must be reconciled and made even. I believe in "made in America" products and protecting this country above all other nations. There will be short term pain and long-term gain. President Trump has a proven record
mmon...The trade deals are overly complex for trump to understand
tpea...No one can trust him. He's a corrupt used car dealer.
twin...He is self-serving. Seems determined to put middle class into financial ruin while padding pockets of his wealthy counterparts
juju...If anyone can do it.. it’s DONALD TRUMP
lisa...All talk, no action
nina...The guy is a moron.
jhar...He'll make mistakes. Key is how he'll correct those. But he's one savvy negotiator. Even when his words seem brash & tactless. People know he's gonna follow thru in whatever he says. So they HAVE to respond or deal with that. The world leaders know it's all about power, $, positions, posturing.
audi...He's a clown and has no idea what he's doing. In order to negotiate a deal you have to understand how finance and international trade works. He understands neither.
pfor...The other side will always be more intelligent, more informed and more experienced. He doesn't stand a chance.
bubl...He's destroying the country and causing us to struggle
mcfr...62 percent of the not confidents don't understand a thing. They are typical of how dense more than half is.
kath...He does a lot of things wrong, but with this, he is doing what he does best, operating like a true businessman and he doing it for the good of American businesses, large and small, and for our country.
rsga...He’s an imbecile
lmon...With his first term accomplishments and overwhelming presidential popularity in this second term win , it’s difficult to see your survey that indicates that 60 % r not confident of his ability to negotiate international trade deals! Bogus pole !!!
mike...Well its very clear that the majority of your readers are far to the left....
cath...He is unqualified
timb...Trump is a bully and bully's are rarely successful for long
jvan...He fails at almost everything
mmnk...He has already done more to improve trade agreements than anyone else. Give him a chance
wche...I believe the trade deals will be presented with typical Trump spin to make them look better than they are. At the end of his term the US trade deficit will be higher than at the start of his term, and US manufacturing will have small victories but no meaningful growth
albe...He has fulfilled all his promises so far. And unlike other republican and democratic president's, he is actually defending the US economy. Promise kept
dibi...He is a bully, bullies are not negotiators. Trade agreements require negotiation and compromise. The fact that the news has to be reported this way as though a trade agreement is such a huge deal is telling in of itself. Many other leaders have had three agreements, and it doesn’t need to be announced in the news because they don’t make dramatics of everything. The White House/federal government has been turned into a fucking reality show. That’s trump’s specialty, he should have been a street magician instead.
jrv1...Have some faith. We just don’t know, dose might as well see a glass half full
lkdn...Trump lies and changes his mind so often that no one can trust what he says. Most countries will be reluctant to make deals with him
bill...Trimp's record of talking about what he will do, and what he actually does (or can do) is far different. Trade deals are complex and can take time. 90 deals in 90 days is fantasy.
rand...Our President is the ultimate narcissist
geor...We have a trade surplus with Great Britain. How ridiculous is it that we even need to be in talks with them. So easy to make a deal with a country who needs our stuff more than we need theirs!
tris...He’s a morom
wpas...I think he’s erratic and unreasonable!! he’s setting our economy back decades!
joan...Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing! That’s a statement ACROSS THE BIARD!!!
erin...I see that many said not confident. The thing is that this conversation is long overdo. Curious if the people that are not confident think we should continue to let the world take advantage of America. Facts are facts and if this were a democratic president doing the same exact thing, would the confidence go up? Why didn’t Obama or Biden do this? I would have been happy it was being addressed but my confidence in them getting it done would have been lower because like every politician before Trump, they just kick the can. Eventually that can has to stop. Here we are America.
reds...Went bankrupt a few times Hope that doesn’t happen to America
dana...He is the antichrist.
rjt5...No confidence in this president’s foreign policy ability. He has done nothing to help the ordinary citizens.
dgna...His demeanour and his past practice mean that he is not trusted and until he has the confidence of those he is negotiating with his ability to form international alliances will be weak.
cmar...How can anyone be confident in his so-called “deals”? He’s the one that negotiated the US-Canada-Mexico agreement in his first term and now has been complaining what a bad deal it is, without saying he was the one who did it! I guess he correctly figures most people’s memories are short and the media, like Fox, won’t call him out on that!
lora...Trump will succeed in negotiating good deals for the American people. Democrats will continue to complain and make up lies to slow him down, but he will prevail.
bcar...He does not understand international trade
ggar...If you are of the elite then he will be there for you. If not prepare to be bent over by Trump.
cind...Trump is not interested in or capable of doing actual presidential work. In his first term it was Mike Pence doing the work. Trump’s focus is on parades, self-enrichment by crypto and embarrassing world leaders in his gilded Oval Office on tv.
judi...Trump is not an intelligent person. He is easily manipulated through flattery and is corrupt. It is amazing that so many people idolize this emperor with no clothes. The tariffs will soon be felt by his worshipers as the economy starts to stagnate. The deficit will continue to skyrocket as his tax cuts to the rich continue and his cuts to programs for the middle- and lower-class kick in and start to be felt. No rocket science needed to foresee this. Meanwhile, his greedy self serving syncophants in Congress continue their unwaivering support.
atli...Extortion is not negotiation. We will come to regret every international deal entered into by Trump.
loui...He has failed at business and as a president in negotiating!
nanc...President Trump is a master Business man and I trust that his actions will benefit the U.S. for our future!
cmic...Except for the fact that he is tanking the economy and needs trade deals
jjgo...To the average intelligent person all over the world it should appear there is no real plan in the whole tariff process , just move of a bully tactic. As many Americans have lost respect for Trump, leaders of other counties have got to see him as a joke . Look at what just happen with the PM of Canada, this gentleman is very bright , look at his background. Once countries redirect their assets to other countries, over time where the US maybe today a vital trading partner , it will change.

Do you support the Trump administration's decision to revoke Biden-era AI chip export restrictions?

  • 67% No, national security is more important.
  • 29% Yes, it's necessary for innovation.
  • 4% Other

EmailComments
jllm...National security is always number one and previous administrations made sure that it was their number one priority. This guy just changed his things for the sake of changing it.
pfor...I believe he makes these types of decisions more as revenge against Biden versus actually looking at the best for America. The narcissist in him is too strong.
bcar...I don’t know
nanc...Other countries seem to be doing fine without Nvidia’s high end chips.
sims...There’s nothing strategic about it just eliminating Biden policy due to his narcissistic behavior
geor...Just so sick of cow towing to companies over our country’s security! Sure let’s provide all our enemies with products that make them more able to attack us!
lora...This is what is needed for innovation. Competition makes things happen, restrictions are not good for national security.
marc...Once again, all for a money grab at the expense of US citizens overall
jlcg...Revoking them before new ones are enforced is stupid
ebr....Trump is a buffoon.
zack...We cannot stop innovation. Get left behind with Biden or lead into the future?
cica...I cannot differentiate between the overwhelming incompetence and the breathtaking corruption. It’s both but it’s difficult to quantify either one.
mcfr...This survey is BOGUS
tpea...In general such restrictions inhibit science research. Only when technology is used to violate human rights are such restrictions valid.

Do you believe that AI will ultimately enhance the search experience for users?

  • 79% Yes, it will make searches more efficient.
  • 21% No, it may complicate the process.

mary...We are surrendering our autonomy for what we think is convenience
nanc...It’s the way of the future.
zack...Plus Google is an monopoly
lora...Yes, this is a good deal.
jllm...Unfortunately, I’m invested in alphabet so I hope it never happens

Should the U.S. lead the administration in Gaza post-war?

  • 74% No, it will deepen U.S. involvement in the conflict.
  • 26% Yes, it's necessary for stability.

EmailComments
reds...They have been fighting over there for hundreds of years and they were never be satisfied
karl...Conflicts in the Middle East are religious based conflicts of which we should be very cautious in taking sides.
rgar...Do your readers not think we are and always have been involved. We should do everything we can to support our only allie and only free and democratic government in the Middle East.
serg...Wipe out Hamas
lora...Yes, it is good for stability and will eliminate terrorist getting a foot hold again.
zack...The few stable Middle Eastern countries should be handling this disaster
ngra...And especially not our current Administration who cannot seem to dignity the human(e) in humanity.
suns...1 We know virtually nothing about their customs and have no business interfering
plan...This is the worst idea ever, it will put US lives at risk in one of the least stable areas of the world.
ppar...Let Quitar or UAE oversee the new government. They can invest into the infrastructure to create a tourist Mecca which emphasizes commerce over religion and open the territory to everyone. This will need to be done w/o a national religion following the US model.
mdul...There are so many examples of where US nation building has failed, once associated with Colin Powell's now famous quote, "you break it, you own it", and no meaningful examples of success with this pursuit. US interests are not furthered by taking over a role for which there literally is no good outcome in the short or medium term. Only long passage of time will allow the deep hatred and fear that characterizes the Israel-Palestine conflict to eventually ease into coexistence, much like what transpired in Ireland. The US cannot hasten that outcome and is negatively impacted by high involvement in interim governing.
tubi...the US needs to stop funding the iof's war.
sims...American Palestinians who voted for trump how you like him now.
join...Haven't we already had enough failures with our attempts to intervene in the middle east?
the2...Trump cannot be trusted to care for the health and well-being of the Palestinian people. Nor can he be trusted to create an affordable, safe, just, or livable society. He has made it clear he is only interested in building gaudy, insanely priced hotels and buildings for the mega-wealthy.
cmar...Stupid idea. Let regional partners participate. Remember the Iraq Provisional Authority was À total shitshow.
bill...Why would we want this responsibility and not seek out the assistance of our Arab allies and neighboring countries, which, by the way, have volunteered to help in this next phase?
jpsn...It is the only way to eliminate Hamas
jllm...These guys should still remember Vietnam stay out of other people‘s conflicts
bkcw...It is an endless pit of misery. It involves two elements who have sworn to kill/eliminate each other. Neither side is willing to give a inch. Why would anyone, especially the United States, want to get involved there?

Do you support the use of Medicare and Medicaid data for autism research?

  • 60% Yes, it’s a valuable resource.
  • 40% No, it jeopardizes patient privacy.

EmailComments
susa...Any ability to facilitate learning and a productive future for a child is essential for the development of the child and the world!!
mary...RFK jr is not a trustworthy man
geor...OMG how many seniors have Autism and if you use Medicaid info too, you only have a very small portion of people in the US with Autism represented. This information could skew the results when a preponderance of those with Autism likely have private health insurance and are not in either Medicare or Medicaid! And with Kennedy in charge, who knows how the info would be used to skew the results to prove the results they want!
cmic...I don't trust anything this administration and RFK Jr. are doing with data.
mdul...As long as the personally identifiable information is stripped and the process aligned with HIPAA requirement, it is one more data source to pursue for any clarity. I hasten to add, though, that HHS Secretary RFK Jr has already decided on the outcome so I have little confident in whatever the study concludes. Science doesn't work with a known outcome and finding proof the contention. Rather, the scientific method is to use data to formulate hypotheses that fit the data.
zack...We can no longer ignore the poisoning of our children
cica...I don’t favor this administration being in charge of anything. It’s led by crackpots, conspiracy theorists, QAnon nut jobs, and a lot of sinister DOGE types, just looking to harvest our personal data
atli...Scientific research is a good thing except when done by non scientist MBAs with alternative purposes.
nanc...If I thought that the research would be above board, but I don’t trust RFK and this administration to do anything but forward their own agenda, perhaps by massaging the data. My other (larger) concern is that they will use this as an opening for all sorts of “research” they deem necessary, using American’s personal data. Smacks of “Project 2025”, remember that?
cmur...I would be supportive if patients and their families consent. Any organization, private or otherwise should not have access to a persons personal data without their express permission to utilize it.

How would you describe your level of understanding regarding diabetes and its risk factors?

  • 45% Moderate understanding
  • 36% High understanding
  • 19% Low understanding

dsbl...I have it.
drol...The things that we call food are not real food such as sugar is these not a nutrient. It should not be ingested in the amounts that we eat. It grains turn into sugar. It's just not that hard folks. Stop eating sugar and flour and watch the type two diabetes go away
jmyc...I think I have diabetes
