| john... | On the "yes" side, I think the proposal sounds reasonable and addresses concerns that both sides have. On the "no" side, the positions on the anti-Israel side are so entrenched, especially by parties outside of Gaza, that those parties will never allow a peace deal to go through. |

They will manufacture or create conditions so dire that the West Bank will suffer a similar fate. Ironically a safe Israel is only possible with Palestinians free of Israeli control and in their own country, however geographically small. The first salaries and benefits to be cut should come from the House and Senate, no travel no allowances absolutely no money until they come to an agreement that keeps the government open.
