Just facts, you think for yourself
Do you believe India's missile strikes were justified retaliation for the attack in Kashmir?
- 55% Yes, necessary action
- 45% No, an unjust escalation

celt... | divide Kashmir in half and end the tensions |
noah... | In a world where killing innocents is justified because of the violent actions of a few, all of America deserves to drown in blood. |
nish... | Pakistan is the major sponsor of terror and terrorists across the globe |
kath... | Yes, any country has the right to protect and retaliate... if they have proof that Pakistan attacked them. But, really, India and Pakistan!? Wow! |
greg... | So the investigation, fund the terrorists and wipe them out |
suni... | I am an American of Indian origin and I think it’s wrong of India to make this move in retaliation. |
brya... | State sponsored acts of terrorism should be dealt with swiftly. Pakistan should not have allowed the extremist and terrorists to carry out the acts of terror from a month ago. Pakistan should have punished those responsible. By not acting Pakistan is complicit in these acts of terror. |
atli... | Religion |
krch... | India didn’t give any proof of Pakistan’s involvement in this terror attack. Pakistan is already fighting a very extensive war against terrorism. Mody just wanted to find a scapegoat for the lasp in their security measures. It created a Hindu Muslim clash in India. Innocent people died on both sides. Diverting water from a country is another crime. Unilateral cancellation of an agreement speaks very highly of Mody government. On top of it loss of 5 jets in one battle is a shame |
broa... | Pakistan is known to harbor terrorists, from Bin Ladin, and the 2011 attacks in Mumbai - India targeting Jews, Americans and Indians . |
adam... | A country should protect itself and people. |
rehm... | India using Israel playbook 100% |
jllm... | New world order, this is how we do things now |
mich... | Violence is never the answer because innocent people always get hurt. |
chri... | The nationalist politicians are well served by a limited war. |
nanc... | We should be trying to get talks going between India and Pakistan before this escalates further. Why isn’t Rubio doing anything? We all stand to lose in this conflict with nuclear weapons in both countries’ arsenals! |
dipa... | 100% justified actions. |
Are you optimistic about the outcome of the U.S.-China trade talks?
- 53% No, I think tensions will escalate further
- 47% Yes, I believe a resolution is possible

lwhc... | Yes, there’s a solution. He let the air out of the tires and now he’s gonna pump them back up and say the problem is fixed. But there’s going to be lasting damage to our national reputation and dollar. People abroad see Trump as a symptom or national problem…a rotting culture with no lasting principles or values…other than a quick buck. |
jaco... | China knows that Trump has played his hand too early so now they have the upper hand not to back down until the US does. We are effed up! |
egan... | Negotiations should never insult your opponent. Vance calling Chinese “peasants”, is strike one. Good luck backpedaling. |
joan... | We are codependent whether we like it or not! |
lin.... | As long as the current administration acts like a schoolyard bully nothing will change. Some places cannot be bought and some countries refuse to bend the knee to Trump. |
mage... | Common sense eventually, if not always, prevails! Each side recognizes that an all out trade war is not sustainable. |
srcl... | I am not very optimistic with Trump in office. |
nanc... | They are arrogant clowns in our government. They expect everyone will be bowing down to our president who thinks he’s a king. China doesn’t have nearly as much to lose as the U.S. |
chri... | The CCP has backed itself into a corner. Industrial planning has gone awry and the state has funded it. Now they can't meet on their social contract of obedience for prosperity. They need a villain and the US will do great at that role. |
arno... | Are ships as few as they were during COVID? |
tomg... | Two people who would rather start WWIII before giving into their pride |
jllm... | it possibly can’t take years to build trade agreements and expect them to be done overnight |
sims... | Long term No China will agree to terms and then disregard the ones they don’t want to abide by. China is the worst trading partner. I think US companies need to move their supply chains out of China |
zack... | China has no choice here. I blame MSM for convincing the 55% here that this isn’t a deal that Trump will close. You people will be on to the next fake outrage when he signs these trade deals and ends tariffs too |
debs... | NO Answer |
mdul... | Trump has been looking for any kind of off ramp for his poorly conceived and poorly executed trade war. The only question is whether China feels this is the right time to let Trump off the hook. Unless China decides this is the perfect time to annex Taiwan, it is most unlikely that the current trade war will result in escalation to military options. |
atli... | China never wanted this trade war, so negotiations |
nogn... | I think Trump is an idiot and will probably be the ruination of our country and perhaps the globe. |
prim... | Trump wants to “Win” while the global economy and Americans lose. |
robs... | The China economy is collapsing BEFORE TARIFFS, and Xi Jiping is now riding a TIGER! They have suddenly discontinued publishing all meaningful economic & demographic data! The CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY (CCP) has committed a major, historic blunder by overbuilding thousands of empty office & apartment buildings triggering a real estate financial crisis 5 TIMES worse than what the U.S. experienced in 2008 resulting in COMPLETELY WIPING OUT $18 TRILLION IN CHINESE HOUSEHOLD WEALTH accumulated by millions of families who worked hard for very low wages over the past 30+ years behind CCP protective tariffs & trade barriers designed to enrich the CCP and a new middle class of 300MM people, who instead, just witnessed their life’s work & savings in the form of investments disappear because the OVERLY AGGRESSIVE CCP IS STILL RELATIVELY INEXPERIENCED WITH CREDIT CYLES, CREDIT RISK & REAL ESTATE LENDING! Even U.S. Banks have struggled with real estate lending risk on a much smaller scale as recently as the 1980’s & 1990’s. The U.S. Federal Reserve & Office of the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency responded each time by increasing loan loss reserve requirements moving forward in order to protect each bank and its depositors. At the turn of the 21st Century, China was in many ways still a 3rd world … low cost labor … emerging market country. The 5 Chinese Gov't owned Banks were learning for the first time from the major U.S. Banks about Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Risk, Lending, Corporate Banking and Investment Banking at the same time their citizens were working in export manufacturing factories and their wealthiest children were studying in U.S. universities. It was a society trying to catch up! Chinese Banking regulators have responded to their current financial crisis, not with an increase in loan loss reserves for the Chinese Banks like the U.S. Banking regulators would have done, but astonishingly, in preparation for Trump’s tariffs and a tsunami of loan defaults by thousands of Chinese manufacturers in the business of exporting to the U.S., the Chinese Bank regulators have lowered their loan loss reserves thereby threatening the liquidity, viability & credit quality of the 5 Chinese Banks AND moving more in the direction of jeopardizing the financial safety and security of China’s 1 Billion + depositors who haven’t already been wiped out! With the pre-tariff, CCP induced financial crisis, millions have been laid off and their jobs eliminated. An entire generation of young Chinese adults are still living with their parents because they can’t find work or afford homes due to the CCP induced financial crisis! There is no quick fix for this historic economic & demographic altering crisis. Consequently, young people in China are not having babies, and younger workers are not able to support China’s rapidly aging older population. China’s economic growth will likely be dramatically curtailed (or normalized) as its population is forecast to decline by almost half by 2100. Meanwhile, the U.S. is finally, deservedly, returning the favor with tariffs of its own which will only exacerbate this major financial crisis in China by dramatically reducing Chinese exports in a relatively young economy still significantly dependent on EXPORTS! The CCP lives in fear of a Chinese citizen uprising, hence it's over the top surveillance of every individual! In addition to the CCP induced financial crisis wiping out the life savings of its entire middle class, it is highly unlikely that the CCP can also stand to lose $583 Billion in annual export sales to its largest customer, the U.S., as its export factories and shipments grind to a halt with millions more on the brink of being laid off because of the intentional strategic timing of Trumps tariffs. The CCP may not be able to admit to giving in on the trade barriers & tariffs it imposes on U.S. exports to China in order to save face with its citizens, but we should expect Secretary Bessent to come away with a very good trade deal for U.S. mostly pertaining to Chinese manual low cost labor manufacturing that can't be automated (lower tariffs for cut & sew apparel; manual assembly of certain toys & certain consumer electronics). The relatively nominal number of automated jobs manufacturing goods destined for the U.S. (with higher tariffs for semi-conductor chips, AI components, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies & equipment & countless items pertaining to national defense & security) will be moving to the U.S. over time due to Trump's permanently high tariffs and also due to supply chain improvement (lower cost of shipping domestically rather than overseas or by air.) China needs a trade deal with the U.S. given the timing of Trump's strategic tariffs on China which is being received like a heat seeking missile as evidenced by the rhetoric coming out of Beijing, more than the U.S. needs a trade deal with China. |
cvon... | With Bessent at the helm, nothing good is on the way. |
How do you view the use of spyware like Pegasus by governments?

hdcr... | So far |
wewi... | Martial was unclear about cooperating with “ other regimes.”What does that mean? Also. NSO needs to be clarified for many readers. |
noah... | Invasions of privacy like this are to be enacted only by the USA government to kill and jail civilian enemies. If it's not that, obviously it's immoral. |
mlma... | I am a decent, honest person, I don’t have nothing to hide and I rather the government find terrorists before they kill hundreds of people. I prefer to be safe than sorry |
mdul... | Trump has repeatedly made clear that he does not believe he is required to uphold or even obey the Constitution. The recent move from Bondi's office instructing ICE agents to enter premises without warrants and without identifying themselves was one more escalation in the removal of protections enshrined in the Constitution. It seems likely that search without probably cause will find support in the Trump administration. |
cb10... | But hey, DOGE took over all of our personal info and privacy is now gone. Disgusting. |
tomg... | In todays world of advanced technology and AI generating false information, the government needs to be in the game |

atli... | Atheist |
tdhu... | The presence and power of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist sustains and enlivens my entire existence. |
ciss... | The Catholic Church is so corrupt hiding and protecting child predators. The Pope is meaningless. |
eric... | I was born and raised Catholic and have never swayed. |
bren... | Religion is frequently used for control. The Catholic Church is evidence. I look forward to the day when Religion is relegated to the obscure corners of the world and has little impact on policy throughout the world. |
mary... | Apostate here! |
kati... | Left the Catholic church 25 years ago! |
bosc... | Born and raised in a Catholic home and schools but I no longer am an active member because of the Church's stand on many issues. I am still a believer in God but organized religion has gone too extreme now and does not accept things like tolerance, women's health, and many more topics. |
geor... | I am praying for an enhanced Pope Francis! As a person who desperately tries and often fails to follow Christ’s requirements for Christians presented in Matthew 25, I was loving how Francis humbly tried to follow Jesus’ words by speaking out for so many immigrants and others who don’t have a voice or a voice that is threatened in our society. So looking forward to a new Pope who will continue and build on Francis’ work! |
nanc... | Raised Catholic, but left due to their views on birth control and how they covered up the abuse by their clergy. |
zack... | Probably the most corrupt institution in the history of the world |
Do you believe the health risks associated with gas stoves are overstated?
- 64% Yes, I think the risks are exaggerated
- 36% No, the risks are legitimate and serious
Comments | |

ttom... | It's hard to evaluate many of these studies - we don't see all the data, and the methodologies are always clear. Neither do we see the calculations they did to eliminate other factors that may have been involved in creating health risks for anyone based on the presence of a gas stove. Did the rates vary depending on the "always on" pilot lights in older stoves vs electronic ignition? What about frequency of use? In the summer months, I may have many weeks go by without using my gas oven much, while the stovetop may be used only briefly at dinner (and windows are more open in the spring, summer, and fall). Add in reports (see The Guardian, et.al.) of retracted papers due to "sham research" and sorry ... it's hard to get worked up about gas stoves. I'd bet that the kids in the LA basin were exposed to more toxins in the 2025 January wildfires than they ever got from their stoves. What about inadequate ventilation in their classrooms? PFAS in their pacifiers? The # of risks to worry about is enough that most of us "do our own math" - we know the streets where people speed, we know that when we drive on a highway, we're REALLY at risk, we know terrorists already in the US continue to pose risks. If we fly, we know that the aging US ATC infrastructure means we're at risk for dying in a crash. If we live in a rural area (I do), we know that there's a risk that the length of time we wait for an appointment for a health care provider (particularly in any specialized field) poses life risks. It goes on and on ... yet people in most centuries prior to this one would view even the poorest citizens in the US or Europe as having a substantially better quality of life in terms of longevity, health, and material goods. Plus freedoms: of marriage partner, job, living location, internal movement, etc. Gas stoves? Give me a break. |
cayl... | Gas is still widely used for cooking in other countries but I don’t think the level of childhood cancer rates isn’t higher in those countries |
fiel... | What a joke. One of the most liberal schools in America published a study trying to associate gas stoves with cancer risk simply to push a leftwing narrative. Pathetic Stanford, but pathetic. |
geof... | Another scare tactic by environmental lunatics. |
kevi... | Always turn ventilation when using a gas cooktop and oven |
aper... | I’m not giving up my gas stove! The big risk to kids is second hand smoke… and nothing is being done about this. |
dang... | Pushing electric. Hard to trust any studies |
jllm... | They have taken the time to research the risks told us what they are and now it’s up to you to do something about it, we;re talking about your children’s lives |
nanc... | this study repeats the findings of other studies. |
atli... | Gas stoves should be banned even if there are no health risks, of which there are many, due to the environmental damage that they also do. |
bc8o... | If you always run your hood vent fan before, as you're cooking, and a few minutes after you turn the burners off. I see No issues. |
geor... | More modern gas appliances are less of a problem now, but they are still a problem. There needs to be a tool that measures the escaping gas from stoves and other appliances that is inexpensive and easy to use so parents can at least know how much gas is leaked from every appliance. We have lots of other tools to help us why not for the safety if everyone - especially our children! |
maxi... | Seems like part of the agenda to fear monger and get everyone onto electric which can be controlled if you don’t toe the narrative line. |
dsbl... | Lived with them my entire life...I'm 75. |
bapp... | Proper ventilation combined with electric ignition mitigate these exposures |
wewi... | Add this risk with all the other cancer causers in a child’s life and this one is unnecessary. Cancer rates are rising amoungst children. |
mary... | Progressive Left wing propaganda. Harvard is compromised on so many levels. Sadly no trust in Harvard these days. |
prim... | Really. Let’s place our children in a bubble. Protect them from everything. I’m 79. Rode in cars without seatbelts , rode my bike everyday without a helmet and drank out of the garden hose……. |
tomg... | I say no because I believe in science not politicians. |
mary... | Proper ventilation is the simple solution |
hdcr... | Didn’t hurt me or anyone I know growing up |
mwga... | this is just an example of manipulating “the science“ to achieve a previously stated political objective. Remember, two years ago these things were gonna get banned? The public backlash was such the politicians backtracked and this is just yet a different avenue of attack. |
zack... | Lol |
jsch... | Most Americans cook very little these days and kids aren’t in the kitchen much, they are playing on their devices or watching TV. |
plum... | Liberal left wing BS! Those studies are flawed! |
