I am dumbfounded daily as to why or how his supporters cannot see what a fiasco it was to vote him into office. BTW - I am a registered Republican. We have seen that Middle Eastern involvement does not go well. Religious fueled oppression is not changed by without great loss of life. In fact, it would surprise me if the ceasefire would take effect immediately, as Trump preempted. But, the armed hostilities will "end" for a period before some other regional conflict erupts once more.

Serious crime results in serious period of imprisonment. But why stop there, deport anyone convicted of serious crimes without hearings to whatever hellhole will take them. And bring back prison chain gangs too. One and done, revival of centuries old penal system.

jwon...Due process ensures that mistakes aren’t made. It’s not to benefit actual criminals, it’s to benefit innocent people wrongly accused. If law-abiding citizens don’t want to be deported without a chance to do something about it, they should want due process for everyone.

Filing a false Social Security number so that you can work is not a violent crime. Coming across the border seeking refuge is not a violent crime. A minor traffic violation is not a violent crime. cand...I believe that if these cards are not scam proof, then the consumer should be able to return the card. I will never buy another gift card if they are not protected.
tbra...I purchased two $500 Vanilla Visa gift cards at Walmart. Packaging did not appear tampered in any way. The gift recipient opened them and found the last 4 digits on the card had been scraped off making them useless. Vanilla customer support as well as the Walmart store were not helpful and even accused me of being the thief. Lesson learned. Gift cards are not secure.
land...Trick question. Some fraud risk is inevitable because thieves adapt to new security measures or find ways to get around them. But that doesn’t mean Visa/others should go only by that logic. Arguing that just because it has a “Visa logo” doesn’t mean consumers can expect protection is embarrassing for them to say because the gift cards are STILL products they are putting out, selling, and profiting from.
