spro... | Drain the swamp!!! |
lind... | anything Trump is for, I am against. |
ljob... | Have to wait for his trial and to understand the evidence against him. Is it that easy to get and keep classified information on highly sensitive information? |
knob... | Trump has overstepping his power. |
wari... | If he is guilty, then the pre-approval and classified information review is at fault. He was approved to publish. This is simply a political indictment. |
cdko... | Trump is prosecuting his political enemies |
vjam... | He is a patriot. Trump's revenge led to indictment. |
huns... | revenge |
crus... | If he really did something, then he should be held accountable. I just don't trust the current administration to tell the truth. |
dws1... | Trump retribution? |
dtpe... | No one is above the law. Miss handling of classified documents can effect our nation! |
milt... | Dictators do this, not democracies. The transgression is not simply bullying political enemies. It is a breach of essential boundaries to have a president command the Justice department to do this. Bar associations should take the licenses of attorneys involved. Bar associations are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the bar. Step up people! |
bret... | Generally you cannot trust the Trump DOJ but this case may be legit. The case would not be brought if Bolton didn't anger Trump but if valid, it should move forward. |
jeff... | The timing is off. Why now? Why after all these years? |
mary... | Trump is a fucking disgrace |
cand... | What a travesty to indict Bolton and not Hepseth! |
lewp... | Donald Trump’s vindictiveness. |
twin... | Send him away for life!! Prison is too good for him!! |
trag... | Bolton may have made some careless mistakes handling sensitive documents, but so did Trump. If consequences are made for one, they should be initiated for both. I believe the phrase is “ what good for the goose is good for the gander!” My sense is that Bolton isn’t being indicted due to his handling of these documents, but he is another victim of Trump’s vendettas on his political enemies. |
vick... | We are headed into a Dictatorship and we have lost our freedom of speech. It is truly scary to see where this country is headed. |
vivk... | The crooks are finally getting their just deserves. |
lora... | No one is above the law. After the FBI under Biden raided Trumps Mar a Logo home all these politicians including Biden should go to prison of having classified documents. The only persons allowed to have classified documents is the President or previous President. You cannot have it both ways. |
blue... | Our nation needs to be assured that there is still justice and that law and order is reinstated. The deep state has run amuck for years and if there was criminal, or unconstitutional activity on their behalf, they must answer to the American people for such actions. These actions did not serve the people, they served only their political ambitions for power. |
davi... | Trump should get the same treatment. |
dret... | If he is found guilty then he deserves the punishment |
andr... | I don't know much about these charges, but Bolton is one of the worst our bureaucracy has to offer. |
cind... | If there is actual evidence, provable evidence, then justice should be done. BUT INDICT THE PRESIDENT FIRST FOR THE SAME CRIMES. We’ll find out that this is just political revenge by the president, again. Falling down slobbering loyalty is what he wants and anything less than that will be dealt with by the corrupt DOJ. When will truth matter again? |
ther... | He’s a pretentious loudmouth that went too far. |
rich... | Trump did 10 times worse than Bolton and should join him if Bolton is convicted |
sue.... | Another act of revenge |
usct... | Why can Bolton be prosecuted, for something Trump did? |
tubi... | dumb donald the petty file is using the power of govt. to go after perceived enemies, while our enemies easily lead him around. |
edwa... | It’s a witch hunt just like Comey |
ejmi... | No worse than hegseth sharing info on line and with his family, or trump's gold bathroom full of classified documents. It's all about revenge. |
jmco... | The leaked information was completely political. |
mdul... | It's hard to frame the recent string of indictments as anything other than a continuation of the Trump revenge tour with the information we have so far. Bolton had been investigated and cleared, along with his notes. His book content had been reviewed and also cleared, citing no classified materials contained therein. This sounds very similar to the Comey indictment where three prior experienced prosecutors had refused to bring charges because there wasn't enough evidence, and the same for James. However, with a word from Trump, the weaponized DOJ harasses his targets. If Bolton actually had hidden classified materials that had escaped the first investigations and were now found under new investigations ordered by Trump, and those materials rose to the level justifying indictment, then so be it. However, from what we've seen so far, that is not the case and it's simply one more time that Trump is using the most powerful government in the world to further his personal vendettas. |
mart... | This is about revenge, not the law. |
ende... | Witch hunt in Trumps words |
mrse... | I don’t like the guy but also don’t like Trump and his retribution. Let’s see where the chips fall |
suet... | The president showed classified documents to people in the Oval Office and stored documents in a bathroom. He is just as guilty as John Bolton might be ,which is doubtful |
nanc... | Just another example of trump’s terrible vindictive behavior. He’s a bully. |
cath... | Clearly politically motivated & vindictive. |
sara... | Democrats have convenient Bolton memory loss. |
anto... | He knowingly broke the law and endangered our country |
jose... | If guilty, he did what Trump did. |
howd... | Another Chaotic Donald Trump Mess taking up valuable tax payer money and wasting valuable time and energy in place of taking care of the tax paying people who voted for him. |
kvas... | This is nothing but political intimidation conducted by the world's tiniest brain coupled with the world's biggest ego. It has to stop. |
matt... | I thought trump should have been prosecuted for this same issue so i cant now say bolton shouldn’t but it does stink of political persecution |
slab... | How could exposing corruption and espionage ever be considered negative? The truth needs to be revealed at all costs, including hurting soft people's feelings. |
conr... | More retribution by the Trump Administration. I am a Republican. But this Administration is the most corrupt I have ever seen (I am in my 70s). And the cowardly Republicans in Congress are complicit. |
jacq... | This is pure retaliation move by Trump administration |
stev... | It sounds like we are living in a totalitarian's regime where criticism gets you criticized, investigated, castigated and prosecuted. Shocking and so very sad. |
soll... | Another person chosen and put in place my Taco that is being targeted for standing up to the cheeto. It’s so obvious he’s lost his mind. |
dion... | In my life this is treason. And he should get at least 10 years. We all know years ago what happen to people who committed Treason. |
tous... | He knew it was wrong. |
jmla... | Pam Bondi heads the the Department of Persecution for the United States. It has little to do with Justice. |
tomp... | I honestly don't care about Political garbage like this. I am tired of it. |
koad... | Pretty impressive that it was started under the previous administration and continued by this one. |
cger... | John Bolton is a traitor. |
davi... | Why is when someone politically prosecutes Trump or a Trump loyalist it's OK but now that all these people that broke the law to do so are being called out it is wrong. |
jcon... | If he took material to help write his book then he should be indicted |
kris... | Glad he got indicted |
kwei... | Just more revenge against anyone who doesn’t back Trump. It’s a witch hunt. |
mark... | If you ever wondered what it would be like to live in Russia under Putin you're seeing it take shape |
dfpe... | Just an example of weaponizing the DOJ against perceived enemies. |
stua... | No restrictions to free speech should never be allowed. That is how democracy is destroyed |
wpla... | He’s a danger to US security. |
guin... | Shows how Trump will turn on his own cabinet members. The big difference between Trump's legal problems and those he inflicts on others is that Donald was convicted and the others are dismissed. |
maye... | Extreme vindictive retribution behavior from Trump diminishes the possible validity of these kinds of indictments |
mark... | How can one complain about weaponization of the justice department and then say you are going to use it to exact revenge against your perceived enemies? Is that not obviously the same thing? |
laum... | The criminal in the Oval Office is seeking retribution from everyone who has attempted to bring him to justice. |
atli... | We have hit bottom when a fight between two morons is a fight between two of the nations "leaders" |
arth... | Retaining sensitive information of this type is dangerous to U. S. interests and security. The same is true, whether it’s the President or high ranking officials. During WWII he would have been executed. |
moni... | We have lost blind justice, hate and vindictiveness are the rule of the day! Trump spews his vile out loud and nothing is done to stop him. We have completely lost the separation of powers and the Supreme Court bends to his will. Our constitutional republic based on democracy is disappearing right in front of our eyes and most people are still apathetic and disbelieving! |
lind... | Just another attack by maniac tRump against any one who opposes him!! IMPEACH NOW!!! |
puck... | Another Trump distraction at work! |
ralp... | Our country is being run by a dictator. |
jhko... | Trump did similar and denies it was wrong..Bolton was a dedicated servant and new reality in international behavior. His analysis was an honest one which many republicans have forgotten what honest means.. I give him credit for reality. It is totally political on why it was charged. |
dssp... | I’m not a fan of Mr. Bolton, but he had been cleared that his writing didn’t tell classified information and he could release his book for publication. Baseless indictment. |
grov... | Finally he will have to face the consequences for his actions. |
dmis... | I am tired of people in power skirting the law for their own purposes and convenience. There is never a situation where having classified information at home is legal and it does not matter which side of the isle your on. I deal with classified information on a routine basis. If there was ever even an accusation that I took information home, I would be under the jail |
curt... | Over-Kill. That’s never productive. |
jeff... | You can indict a ham sandwich. This is yet another one of Trump’s attacks on his “enemies list”. |
fcse... | I’m sure Bolton did not have as many classified documents as Trump had at Mar a Lago after his first term. Both them and Biden had security clearance. There are probably others who also had classified documents in their homes. If these documents are not supposed to government buildings there needs to be tighter control, like FBI screening as office-holders depart. |
grif... | He is responsible for gov documents. But so was Trump. He kept and shared documents also. Both should be held accountable. Maybe if someone goes to jail it will make others more responsible of their duty when holding office. Lock them up! |
Would a U.S. ground attack in Venezuela be a necessary step to restore order or a dangerous escalation that should be avoided?
- 88% Dangerous escalation
- 12% Necessary step

---|---|
tubi... | dumb donald the petty file will do whatever he's told by those who want to keep power. |
aust... | None of our business |
jpal... | Does the military have orders to send in Seal Team Six, locate the Nobel Peace Prize and bring it home? And blowing up fisherman isn’t going to solve anything. Saying that there is fentanyl dust on the blown up speedboats sounds a little fishy too. Attempting to start a war to avoid an election is extremely cruel and desperate behavior. |
ejmi... | I'm not convinced that these boats were anything other than fishermen. No proof, trump and hegseth lie about everything. I believe they have killed innocent people. |
arth... | Picking off their drug boats and focusing world attention on Meduro is sufficient at present. |
csbr... | Dump sure did fool a lot of sheep when he talked about America First. Maybe they will put his fat ass on the front lines of this invasion. Fingers crossed. |
beco... | It seems like if you can track the boats to obliterate them in the water why can't you track them to our shores and take care of it on our soil as a first step. |
crus... | How about we work on the demand side? What drives folks to use drugs? |
tomd... | I believe the sole purpose of our military presence is to stop Venezuela from illegally selling illegal drugs to the US. So why provoke and all out war? Unless, of course, it is necessary to halt the illegal drug sales. |
tkl7... | Venezuela is not a threat to our country. The US attack on boats thousands of miles from our coast cannot be defended. The Trump Administration is likely committing international crimes. Shameful. |
ther... | Time to end the nonsense. Set the drug cartels back to the Stone Age, and ensure better leadership thereafter. Anyone that disagrees with this does not understand the megadeaths happening to US citizens from drugs and should not have a voice in the conversation. |
fogg... | We do no need to go to war. We can find different ways to protect our borders |
kris... | For sure |
usct... | This is all about regime change by Trump. If this is successful, he will try this with other nations. |
to55... | Why do we care about venazuala, they are not a threat to our national security |
nanc... | Trump’s need to show how much power he has. Such a fragile ego. |
maye... | Entirely wrong approach by Trump administration which would ultimately threatens lives of many innocent Venezuelans. The US should focus on its own drug situation here - with focus on helping its most vulnerable citizens struggling w/addiction NOT go around the world wasting our military resources acting as gang bangers. |
kvas... | Congress has the power to declare war, not Orange Boy. |
atli... | Obviously not about drugs but Trump's lust to satisfy his policy of hate. |
jlcg... | Dangerous, I am not so sure: for whom, and under which form? But definitely an avoidable mistake leading to some pretty annoying headaches for years to come! Not to speak of the escalating expenses. |
nd1n... | Why has the world taken this long to remove Maduro? |
jeff... | This is unconstitutional and has nothing to do with drugs. It’s about forcing a regime change. |
g.br... | Judging by history of USA involvement in Central America and Middle East that is an absolutely horrible idea. |
mdul... | Nothing helps an authoritarian leader more than an external threat. It allows him to rally people to a common nationalistic cause. Trump has done Maduro a tremendous service by giving him that rallying cry. All for the benefit of Trump being able to be a big boy and order the deaths of many people who might or might not have set upon a course to bring drugs to the US (we'll never know). Had Trump instructed the CIA to work with the actual winner of the Nobel Peace Prize to find a way to topple Maduro's (then) unpopular regime, that would have been a true act of statesmanship but that is not Trump's goal. His goal is always self-aggrandizement and being in the limelight as a tough guy, no matter how much it worsens the situation. |
slab... | Without Venezuela's political cooperation, nothing other than physical removement of the current regime that supports illegal activity is absolutely necessary. |
john... | Last thing we need is another war on our hands. |
dmis... | should be a third option. It might not be necessary but I do not think a ground attack would lead to dangerous escalation. |
huns... | cant afford to allow Vz. to become extension of Russia |
rich... | Why are we bothering with such a backwards country. They are already ruining themselves with 682% inflation. |
Is the Trump-Putin summit in Budapest more likely to advance peace or deepen tensions in the Ukraine war?
- 57% Deepen tensions
- 27% Advance peace
- 16% Other
Comments | |
---|---|
akyg... | Ukraine needs to be part of the progress. |
crus... | Putin is in too deep. Blackmail? |
kvas... | Traitor Don is Putin's monkey. Dance monkey dance. |
hbde... | It's more Trump bullshit. He likes Putin and only gives a damn about getting a Nobel peace prize. |
msyk... | Didn't Trump just have a summit where he claimed "great success" in advancing peace, only to have Putin escalate his attacks all across Ukraine? This is nothing but another puppet trick by Putin to give himself more time to advance and prolong his war. |
spr.... | Trump is being played by the World’s biggest criminal! |
nanc... | Putin just wants trump to withhold the Tomahawks. He has no intention of ending the war. Another useless meeting. |
lm_w... | It will have no impact. Putin is expert at stalling tactics. |
mdul... | It seems unlikely to have any meaningful effect but that's why you have the summits - to try to find a way forward. Putin is likely to get his ward (Trump) back on his side and Trump is likely to try to find a way to frame the outcome as largely positive. |
tomp... | Talk, more talk and no action. |
curt... | Putin knows he can continue to play Trump, while he is hell bent on winning that War and controlling more land. |
lora... | Trump is giving Putin every chance to resolve this Ukraine/Russian war diplomatically. If Putin does not play then Trump will need to resolve with force. Putin is desperate since he has lost over 1 million Russian lives for his ego. He needs to look like a hero in Russia or he will be killed |
alte... | I doubt if Trump will provide Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine because he does not really want to damage his relationship with Putin. |
atli... | The US loves a good war . A sure sign of empire collapse. |
fogg... | Trump doesn’t know what he is doing |
katl... | Trump is a terrible President and negotiator for peace. Putin is in charge! Pretty disgraceful and an embarrassment for the United States and world. |
mart... | Talking is better than not talking, but Zylenski should be included. |
beck... | It’s a step in the right direction. He’s at least trying. Biden and his cronies did very little. |
john... | the other .....it will do nothing and is just tRump looking for more publicity. Publicity for him is his only reason to care about Ukraine at all. |
fcse... | Cannot negotiate with Putin. Nothing will come of Trump-Putin meeting. Trump should give Ukraine tomahawk middles and strike Russia relentlessly before meeting with Putin. |
tomd... | It seems that, when our leaders meet in person, either goodness arises from it or it has minimal effect (low downside risk), at least most of the time. |
walk... | Who knows. How does one predict Putin, based on his actions, all talks are immaterial. It would appear that short of taking Putin out, you will have to cripple Russia oil and energy to break them |
priv... | How could anyone say deepen tensions. would you rather we bury our heads in the sand ? |
g.br... | I wonder when US government is going to realize that for Putin peace in Ukraine is not an option. Temporary pause maybe but they will come back like they did after 2014 Minsk agreement. Appeasing Putin will only embolden him. Putin only responds to strength not to deals. |
spro... | Trump gets shit done face to face. Most of you still don’t understand the way he operates. He will make sure Putin knows we can destroy their economy if he doesn’t stop the killing. |
to55... | TRUMP SHOULD GIVE UKRAINE WHAT IT NEEDS (TOMAHAWKS ) TO SCARE PUTIN INTO ENDING THE WAR ! |
eliz... | Lmao …I’m constantly amused by these real time “votes.” Most of your readers must also get their news from CNN and MNSBC |
dmis... | How do face to face talks deepen tensions. This is just a business transaction, even if the outcome is not what you want it is informative and you know what actions to take |
cind... | How can you create peace between two countries when only one of them is present? Ridiculous. Why have an in-person meeting again? For show? For pictures? Or for absolute secrecy? Is there going to be a golf course and resort built in Budapest like is planned in Qatar? |
bjef... | There's no need to elaborate. Trump is in Putin's pocket. |
Should the US extend tariff relief for the auto industry to maintain competitiveness, even if it reduces government tariff revenues?
- 88% Yes
- 12% No
Comments | |
---|---|
msyk... | The US should extend tariff relief to the entire country and all its industries. |
mdul... | Gee, here's an idea. Let's eliminate the Trump tariffs altogether and return to a world largely constructed around near zero tariffs that served as the platform for American economic dominance the last more than half century. |
cind... | ‘Japan gaining a cost advantage over U.S. makers’ pretty much says it all. America First, remember? |
lora... | Since the early 1970's people complained about jobs going overseas. Now Trump is trying to bring those jobs back and people do not want these jobs. GenZ are completely lazy grifters by not wanting to work. |
crus... | End the tariffs and try a different strategy to help grow US manufacturing. |
kvas... | C'mon Donnie. Stop being such a dick. |
atli... | The removal of 100% of tariffs on all products in return for the same from other countries is the only way to pull the world back from the total collapse that Trump's policies are leading to. |
bret... | Stop the tariff madness |
If a gene therapy permanently alters cholesterol genes, do you consider it more of a cure or a risky medical experiment?
- 55% A true cure
- 30% Unsure
- 16% A risky experiment
Comments | |
---|---|
trag... | High cholesterol appears to be a byproduct of genetics rather than diet and lifestyle. When dietary modifications don’t lower cholesterol, statins are the next, and likely the last, form of treatment. It would make sense that genetic modification would be an effective and hopefully permanent solution |
tomd... | Assuming it has been vetted in the usual way. |
atli... | Gene therapy is the future of health care unless the fundamentalist Christians who control the US discover that their god is opposed to it. |
kvas... | You keep asking laymen to express opinion about scientific matters. Despite Worm Brain and Comb-over Boy, I still trust science. |
Selection Percentages

waab... | Keep moving forward. The 7 people I know who have died from “cancer” well… the chemo did them in! So let’s move on! |
tomp... | I don't want to infect myself with unknown reactions from MY Body! |
kvas... | If science shows that it's effective, then what's the harm? |
fcse... | Already do it with bladder and Prostate cancer. Live tuberculois bacteria (BCG) infused into bladder which must be evacuated after two-hours, first pouring Clorox into toilet to kiss the live bacteria. This immunology is the gold standard of killing cancer cells in bladder. Many have experienced it, including my brother and me. |
wpla... | We HAVE to explore all avenues to fight Cancer. Remember penicillin was discovered by mistake!! |
arth... | The known outcome of many cancers is certain death. There are many who will try anything to extend life and hope. Virus’ and bacteria can have equal good and bad effects, life taking and life saving. |
tomd... | Risks? It's hard to believe an established cure would present anywhere near as much risk as the cancer itself. |
