mdul...I wonder what percentage of MAGA still argue that Trump is not moving us towards a fascist authoritarian rule and away from the Democratic Republic that used to be the envy of the world. It must be down to a small percentage of what has been a cultish, fanatical base. Is there any counter-argument? As to whether this will lead to regime change, difficult to tell. It might simply lead to Maduro becoming even a more totalitarian leader, turning troops even more on his own people (taking the lesson from Trump himself). There might be a genuine need for our naval assets in other parts of the world, necessitating a step back from Trump's whimsical, petty, and illegal war mongering. Or, if left long enough and with US intelligence and military boots on the ground, it might well eventually lead to regime change.
lkdn...Venezuela can take just so much
atli...And the US attack on a sovereign country will be punished by who? We are criminals.
kvas...How clear does it have to become? Trump is Voldemort. His Maggot Head followers are Death Eaters. They all feed on the pain and suffering of others. Please, Harry Potter, come and save us!
jeff...So… not really about drugs, right?
guyt...Perhaps Trump' s rhuggish activities should be stopped by the Américain people
cica...Seems unlikely without an actual war. Where is all the evidence with the drug boats? Where is all the evidence with the tankers? I thought this was the administration that didn’t want to get into stupid wars and regime change and meddling in foreign affairs
rich...Who is going to "oust" Maduro? Will they be any better? Where does US go from here?
sayw...Even if he goes - at what cost to the US and its international relationships?
lora...maduro needs to go and it is just a matter of time. Our President needs to keep the pressure on.
bjef...This is an act of war which has not been ratified by Congress. It may or may not affect Maduro, but it will certainly affect Trump.
pfor...It makes it likely but doesn't mean it is right and just...
nanc...Madero seems as hard-headed as trump, so it may continue to fester. Not good for the Venezuelan people.
alis...America as usual the big bad terrorist. Can’t see what they do but only what other do
wlof...It will surely NOT PRODUCE NOTHING. But what it will produce will be so interesting. Who actually supports Maduro and what will they actually do to show this support?
rich...Trump the bully trying another illegal tactic to either act tough or enrich himself
bren...maduro needs to go
doct...I'm thinking that this is a major distraction intended to take your attention away from Trump being a pedophile, among all his other wretched characteristics when the Epstein filth is expunged to the public.
edwa...This leaders is a paper tiger who has caused immeasurable suffering to the Venezuelan people, half of whom have left the country and has additionally caused instability in neighboring countries. Furthermore, his intimate association with terrorist sponsoring nations and drug organizations diminish his ability to be an effective partner in the region.
tjaw...This will simply harden the resistance of Venezuelans to U.S. bullying of their country. They will react just as we would react, in a similar situation.
kand...I don’t know enough about this kind of political maneuvering to comment.
tama...We're lying through our teeth about the whole business. Drugs don't come from Venezuela -- who doesn't know that? Entire facade is intended as a front to allow Trump to conduct his crimes inside the US.
avaa...This f---ked up administration wants to start a war that is going to really do us in
dust...I do not have enough information to make an educated guess
jonw...Our attempts at imperialism will fail, as they almost always do.
barr...Money comes from his cartel and oil plays a secondary role
cger...The noose is tightening on Maduro, and his time is running out. His illegal oil and drug smuggling is coming to an end and his militaristic control over Venezuela is also. In spite of the 42% of your progressive Leftist readers who LOVE their criminals and crime and support them at every turn.
sher...Exactly which assets were stolen???
scot...It could result Russian support for him, much like the US has propped up other leaders in that area of the world.
tomc...Is there any quality of life in Venezuela? Isn't it time for leadership change in this part of the world!
jmla...Why start a war with your neighbors? Unless you are a sick, demented Hitler Wannabe! Which is precisely what Don Trump is and always has been.

What is the main reason for the recent rise in the US unemployment rate?

  • 68% Slower job growth

  • 11% Growing labor force participation

spro...We eliminated redundant government jobs, while absorbing tarrifs and kicking people off welfare so this is the short term pain we should have expected. 2026 will rebound as we see lower taxes and less regulation. Growth in the private sector will skyrocket with interest rate reductions and expect a stimulus check before the midterms. I hope you all watch the Trumps address tonight so you can hear what the media isn’t reporting.
bran...Ai
bcar...Trump’s tariffs and the disruption of global economic stability
rand...Trumps policies are dragging America into a debt hole with world hatred towards us!
cger...Your Progressive Leftist readers (67%) would love to believe the economy is tanking under President Trumps control because THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE. It is up 0.2%. It's not anything significant. Here's what the articles will not tell you. On the last day of September, continuing into October and November, hundreds of thousands of federal employees were furloughed. Hundreds of thousands let go because of Doge and the Trump administration cutting back the federal payroll. That's where all of the jobs were lost. But of course the corrupt Corporate Media Progressive Leftist Propagandist will not tell the truth.
prco...federal govt layoffs. that is a good thing.
step...Senseless Doge cuts have unintended downstream consequences
usct...Trump’s tariffs are causing uncertainty in the area of hiring. Deportations are disrupting the supply chain.
atli...Trump
gmar...if you look at all of the job openings in the trade field, you would find that there’s a quite a few jobs out there, but there’s no qualified people to do them. That is where the problem lies.
ocds...It's the f$!&ing tariffs and other Orange man policies. These questions are ridiculous.
jeff...Tariffs are increasing prices for most consumers, so spending is down, and employers are responding with lower staffing levels. Radical cuts in government staffing are also reducing spending and impacting consumer spending
kvas...Trump is the reason. He's coasted on a strong economy left behind by Biden and other Democratic presidents, but now his loony tunes behavior is catching up with him ... and all of the rest of us as well.
bill...Trump's mismanagement of the economy and the spineless support by his Republican zombies
debk...AI & slower job growth + government firings

bjef...Do you mean, in addition to mass firings by the President? Slower job growth and AI
nanc...We are finally getting real unemployment numbers, first time in 2 years
jlga...AI
semp...AI is the reason...quietly and at times not so quietly will replace many jobs going forward
jald...I know of no one who has lost a job and I work in construction in Oklahoma delivering concrete where businesses is booming with all different kinds of concrete construction projects happening. Concrete is the basis for all construction and it is not slowing down.
katl...Trump firing everyone that disagrees with him or cannot be manipulated.
tris...Poor economic policy at the federal level, causing ripple effects throughout the economy that's slowing job growth
jonw...With Trump‘s tariffs, economic chaos is created
avaa...This administration fired so many people and tariffs are driving costs up at same time so no relief it will get worse especially with healthcare
brya...The economy is not all that great the current administration is delusional if they believe otherwise.
rich... Chaos created by TRUMP's administration with regard to tarrifs and overall "policy" matters do not allow companies to plan ahead with any sense of certainty.
asma...AI
nanc...Businesses are not hiring due to the uncertainty this administration continues to foster. The tariffs are especially high on that list. Add to that the ice raids, causing undocumented workers to hide or be deported, leaving their employers in the lurch.
lora...Growing labor force and people who are now not going to get free welfare, SNAP or unemployment must go back to work. There are plenty of jobs and people are just too lazy to go to work. We should stop all welfare for any person between ages of 18-64.
wlof...Tons of federal grants revoked, federal layoffs. Change in direction from conservation to pollution. Disgusting politics with oil producers.
fppc...Reduction of a bloated government workforce
kand...Tariffs and deportations
sayw...And who believes the BLS figures anymore? IMHO, it's worse than reported. Trump's policies coming home to roost. Meanwhile the elite are knocking it dead.
runn...Government firings, tariffs raising costs and the uncertainty of the future
cica...Doge firings, “Liberation Day “, the prevailing uncertainty, and unstable government
tubi...dumb donald the petty-file in chief is as horrible at leading as he is making deals. he's destabilized the economy and caused people and companies to slow new spending.
andr...Joe Biden failures
kelt...govt jobs finally eliminated
conr...Tariffs and resultant economic uncertainty.

katl...Stand firm with Elon Musk and Tesla. Just because he’s rich does not mean he can endanger lives.
bjef...It's pretty simple, Musk's lying is letting loose a bunch of vehicles that are pilotless and which can kill anyone at any time. Pretty simple. But it's like gun legislation, as long as it's profitable, hey, it's ok if a few people die, right?
eric...Natural selection. It's like putting stickers on coffee that say "HOT". People need to learn to think for themselves.
nanc...Only a fool would believe Musk.
doct...Tesla should go away. Never buy a Tesla product ever and vote for people that will strip Space X of being anything. Musk is a problem to be corrected.
nava...Everyone that I know that uses FSD knows that it requires supervision. From the biggest fans to the most ardent detractors. It’s all over the news, too. Where is the misunderstanding?
john...How stupid does one have to be to let the car drive itself with all the warnings to date?
fmdi...Democrats against less traffic deaths
avaa...He should be sent back to africa
jald...Your readers have TDS and MDS which is Musk Derangement Syndrome. It is so tiring that the left can’t get behind this company and instead use lawfare to attack one man who is doing great things for society.
bcar...Elon is a scammer
brad...Blatant lies should not be tolerated in marketing for any company, let alone one as arrogant as Tesla.
cger...Progressive Leftist run California hates Tesla for Musk's alignment with Trump and will penalize them at every opportunity.
dust...Love Tesla however most people are followers, you cannot believe everything you hear without doing your own research. It seems common sense that the autonomous vehicles are not perfected yet.
bfph...It’s political. Every manufacturer is working through self-driving. It’s statistically far more safe than self drivers, yet the mainstream media and democratic leaders want to punish Musk for his Trump association and therefore showcase his failures on a national level. Pretty pathetic and unfair
kvas...Musk and Trump - the two megalomaniac frenemies - how could everything not go to hell when they wield any power at all?
scot...I've owned a Tesla for 4 years, they make it obvious that you must supervise the FSD. That said, FSD has gotten so good, that it drives far better than most drivers who are typically distracted by their phones, radios, eating or perhaps tired and angry at something.

Should clinics be required to fully disclose to patients exactly how much money they receive for trial enrollment?

  • 87% Yes
  • 13% No

greg...Should we require all businesses to disclose their margins? Let's shop for gasoline based on how much the c-store makes when I fill up my tank. Getting paid to run a clinic trial doesn't mean it's a scam. Heck, let's have the government decide how much money every business can make...
katl...Honesty is best but patients are more interested in a miracle. Let’s hope the clinical trials have sound science behind them.
sayw...Simple transparency would be nice. The money is absurd.
cger...The pharmaceutical industry has refined a systematic approach to corrupting medicine over the course of decades. Pharmaceutical companies pay doctors directly to prescribe their drugs. Studies show that 94 percent of physicians have some relationship with the pharmaceutical industry. These relationships include payments for continuing medical education, speaking fees, consulting arrangements, and research grants. The payments influence prescribing behavior without making doctors feel bought. The industry frames these payments as compensation for expertise, not bribes. Research demonstrates that physicians who receive industry payments are two to three times more likely to prescribe name-brand drugs than their peers who don’t receive payments.
bjef...Sure. Clinics can't provide the care without compensation. If it's outrageous or there are centers conducting trials without oversight or consistent with good medicine, then there should be criminal penalties.

jste...of course fat people want to take a pill rather than take personal responsibility
jamf...We do not need cyclical injections or Pharma-we need to trust our bodies and feed them well!
hemb...Should be on both to be properly effective, especially for those that are genetically predisposed
abbe...both are important
bjef...The hormones related to the proteins are responsible for a large part of the obesity issue It will be one of many methods available.
kand...The opioid crisis is the template for this corruption that is happening all over again with weight loss. Major pharmaceutical companies have paid billions in criminal and civil settlements for fraud, bribery, and misleading research over opioids and the same thing will happen with obesity treatments. KISS...keep it simple stupid....STOP EATING YOURSELF TO DEATH.
cynt...Drugs are one tool in the box but improved diet and exercise are a better approach unless someone is morbidly obese.
