mdp9...Predictably, Iran had prepared extensively for a possible U.S. bombing strike. This is just one chapter in a long story. Ripping up the agreement forged by President Obama to slow Iran's progress in 2016 now seems to have indeed been a colossal error by then-President Trump.
cole...If you are going to complete an act of war on another sovereign country, you better make sure that you are absolutely going to achieve your goal; and have the forward looking plan to manage the certain retaliation and consequences.
krnj...I believe that you can't believe anything that Trump says. That's pretty scary/sad that we can't believe anything the governmental agencies now tell us.
iren...And, alas, the bombing made the U.S. look weak in the eyes of the Middle East. We used our biggest bombs and they did only minimal damage.
rkel...6 month delay is virtually meaningless for the llong term
dr.m...The general public will never have enough truthful information to generate an informed opinion.
lcon...False reporting OR true ??? Unable to trust media and government reporting.
kris...Until we see actual reports from inside the facility, it’s extremely tough to judge.
timb...How much did we spend to set Iran back a couple of months
csbr...We should send all current MAGA supporters to the frontlines to finish the job. A lot them like to military cosplay and this would be a great opportunity for them to help fulfill their cult duties. We would have nothing to lose.
jrv1...Need to have validation. Bombs this large cause damage, but unless you are in Iran at the facility. My questions are: is there an actual Intelligence report or is this rumor, and specifically who issued it. Most likely, intel from Israel will be more accurate. Disappointing that so many people hope in their mind that we weren’t successful.
jimb...The strike proved that there is no place you can hide that we cannot bomb
ypsi...More posturing by Trump trying to impress his base.
fkor...Pentagon findings.
redm...Nobody knows yet
rmol...Womd, history repeats. And Trump doesn't listen to his own intelligence reports. Idiot-in-chief once again.
jmla...Just another mindless, moronic, display of Trump arrogance, which is just a reminder of what America is really all about, especially since the end of World War Two.
leet...Comments from Trump and Fox News about the success of the mission were premature and irresponsible.
rspr...I would hardly suggest that destroying and delaying a portion of Iran’s nuclear facilities would cause significant long term damage. Quite the opposite actually.
ebr....Trump is a buffoon.
jmja...This "leaked" report was preliminary, based on satellite images. Humint from Israel indicates that Fordo is completely inoperable. This is NYT propaganda, which they will not correct even when proven wrong.
deni...Not worth the short term damage. All it did was anger Iran and put Americans in danger of retaliation. Iran will be less trusting in any further negotiations.
pnic...These were anonymous leaked reports. Why would you trust them?
kris...You read the entire article and the final sentence “ The IAEA confirmed damage but can’t verify underground “ If you can not verify underground why are you lying.
glor...The shit has hit the fan!!!
dori...Assuming the goal was to "obliterate" Iran's nuclear weapons capabilities, this report makes it clear the attack was a complete failure. More cynical views considering changing the political narrative away from the reconciliation bill or aiding Netanyahu stay in power or, even, just playing powerful strongman, could be considered successful.
gshe...when Iran announced in advance the strike back on the US Military, Trump had convinced Iran that it was best to negotiate its nuclear program. it is not important the extend of the damage from the first bombing.
curl...No evidence shown and a direct cover up as to the affect the US had on Iran. Trump intentionally overstated the damage (no surprise there)
rmtr...President is a hotdog, all show, no brain
rgar...This is liberl BS aimed to detract from what has been accomplished. Maybe the results are not as desired, maybe they are, it is unknown at this time. One thing for sure Iran has been put on noyice that they will not be allowed to make a nuclear weapon.
gban...This was more damaging to the US than the average person realizes. Besides lying to the public, the President violated every procedural step before deciding to do this.
hele...Should have gotten congressional approval first.
expl...Weak
kaka...There was an adopted agreement with Iran from the Obama Administration. During Trumps first term, he terminated that agreement. Now we bomb Iran for a non-agreement caused by Trump. So Trump created the problem and thinks he is only one to solve it.
long...The message regardless of damage level is no nuke weapons. Furthermore that extreme measures can be used in preventing final attainment,
twin...trump and his inept staff failed!! I have no doubt that iran will retaliate’
adkl...Everyone knows Bibi & DonaldWagtheDog are liars; that whatever was arranged between them benefited each other and their least concerns were the American and Israeli people! Hostages? What hostages?
csho...To early to tell. How is it possible to determine yet? Importantly, there is a cease fire and Iran's military is degraded.
avaa...Trump and his freakshow are idiots therefore failure is what happens and will continue Impeach is the answer
drur...After an attack, information must be gathered. The information gathering and assessment is incomplete. To draw a conclusion with partial information is illogical and dangerous in this case.
pbyc...would like to see further strikes
robs...This report and your decision to feature it is once again, 100% politically motivated as demonstrated by the fact that it has only been 4 days, AND ACCORDING TO PRESIDENT TRUMP & DEFENSE SECRETARY HEGSETH, WHO YOU INCREDIBLY CHOSE NOT TO QUOTE, NO ONE INCLUDING THE PENTAGON IS IN A POSITION TO ASSESS THE ACTUAL DAMAGE CURRENTLY OTHER THAN THE PILOTS WHO VOWED HITTING EACH TARGET DEAD ON WITH FOURS TIMES THE ANTICIPATED NECESSARY PAYLOAD! The elephant in the room problem with AI is FAKE NEWS !!!
reit...Trump is a failure. K. Harris was right. We are in a war in less than 6 months.
usct...The pilots did their job. Trump overestimated the impact. However, if this leads to more negotiations and an end to the Iranian nuclear program as well as a long term peace between Israel and Iran, it could be a successful strike. That is a lot to ask and expect.
melk...Trump is using it to distract from domestic isduex. He is such a failure.
kvas...Who believes anything that the thing in the White House says?
pegg...And again, Trump LIES! But the MAGAs rejoice.
1ded...Who knows the real truth??
gabi...Iran initiated ceasefire so they can stop the damage and repair their nuclear program. The ceasefire is premature.
jimb...Trump, the Liar-in-Chief, is the only person saying this was a big hit to Iran's nuclear program.
coop...Probably destroyed 50% of all facilities.
cbvi...Not one person in the administration is qualified to organize this type of operation. It was purely a bully type offense to show strength, which he does not have
ross...The air strikes certainly did something.
davi...The strikes were necessary to underscore the West/US intent to never allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. The Iranians have been delayed but will re-start; the West needs to get Iran back to the diplomatic negotiation table and until they do, if necessary, to continue to strike each and every facility that is attempted to be restarted.
joes...We must continue to pursue our goal of preventing Iran from ever having a nuclear weapon.
mja8...Trump never tells the truth. Always exaggerates.
lady...It was a pointless invitation to war. More war!
schw...Trump continues to lie before and especially after events to make him look good. Obliterated what???? Just the topsoil. He’ll fire the truth speakers at the Pentagon! Lying sack of shit
rksc...Once again, Trump over-promises and underdelivers. Just one of hundreds of reasons to rid ourselves of this clown prince!
42ms...Iranians now will feel they have more reason to build the bomb.
marg...I believe the intelligence reports are more accurate and believable than the Trump/Hegseth assumptions & bluster.
nmst...The attacks increased the anger and determination of the people there, they will fight harder.
cupp...Bunker bombs not deep enough to go thru cement bunkers underground, no radiation leakage. Just created craters on top of mountain.
anne...No because they shouldn’t have bombed in the first place. It created hostility that put all Americans in danger
stcr...How can this news be correct about how long the nuclear program was delayed!!! They are still gathering facts. Now I see this is fake news!!!!
rich...Let Isreal fight the war
akjj...As our president often states. Fake News
ejmi...I think it was like wounding an animal you are hunting. Just makes them angrier, and likely more aggressive
lora...Even if the area is not totally destroyed, Iran knows they cannot have a nuclear bomb, this this will determine them as long as Trump and Republicans maintain the Presidency of the US.
rmen...they now know he US can neutralize whatever evil they build to destroy peaceful nations
alva...Catastrophic failure
pems...Not confident any of the information we see is accurate or true.
tina...Iraq, the sequel. This is ludicrous.
susa...In the last hour two other sources debunked the " not significant damage" theory. It is too soon to know with certainty.
nare...Movement of materials prebombing. Sealing entrances. Something survived.
pfor...The Orange Man didn't go through proper channels, again, so he winged it and failed, again!
fred...No clear evidence Iran was even weaponizing
mdul...It would appear that the airstrikes failed to achieve the strategic goal Trump laid out - the complete destruction of Iran's ability to enrich uranium and make a nuclear weapon. Trump also claimed immediately afterward that the objective had been fully achieved and had been hinting at regime change as a possible new strategic objective. Ignoring the scope creep to regime change, the preliminary intelligence assessment is that Trump's objective was not achieved. Recall, though, that every US intelligence agency and the DNI all told Trump beforehand that Iran was not producing a nuclear weapon and Trump asserted that no-one in those agencies knew what they were talking about and only he, in his wisdom, knew the reality. No matter what the intelligence community says in the coming days and weeks, I suspect Trump will continue to dismiss them all as idiots and assert that he knows his objective was achieved.
rbq4...My tax dollars have been wasted on this and my government lied to me again.
remy...They did worse. They made a mockery of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty which guarantees the right of signatories (of which Iran is one and Israel is not) to pursue peaceful nuclear programs, which they were! Now what's the point of a treaty like that if the US is going to violate it on bogus arguments?! Iran was the most inspected country in the world and it didn't matter! Shame on Trump for falling for Israel and neocon crap!
lbvo...The only way to know is with authenticated photos and Israeli reports. Iran has financial support from Islamic extremist groups - Qatar and Egypt who also finance Hamas.
bucc...Obliterate the entire Iran Nuclear Program. Evil people destine to destroy the US and other countries should not have any nuclear access.
nanc...Another failure by our inept leadership.
moth...Even though I do not believe one word out of Donald Trump's mouth I do still believe technical experts - they say the Iranian program has merely been delayed by a matter of months. This is probably true.
bjta...How can anyone determine the amount of damage without an official report by the DOD. This question is based upon an unsubstantiated leak by a disgruntled employee, who should be held accountable for his/her actions. The knee jerk reaction by this liberal based newsletter in its coverage and their readers response is expected.
cica...The results of the strikes came nowhere near what Chump claimed they did. However, I think it’s still too early to tell. Iran is in an incredibly weakened state and if I can restrain them from further supporting their proxies and maybe suing for peace with Israel, it may have accomplished at least that much

exmx...No idea. You’d think in this day and age all job finding tools would be golden.
sue....I suspect private equity poorly managed it but intentionally for their own profit
lora...Management failed by getting too much debt, it could not service.
mich...LinkedIn is a monopoly at this point -- I am the Founder of President of Turning Point Search, Inc. and have been recruiting since 1997 (28 years) -- I started with monster was free and online job board recruiting was in infancy stages. All job boards combined (including Indeed) do not even come close to being able to scratch the surface of how powerful LinkedIn is currently in the economy, as far as the recruiting industry goes. = )

The deficit now equals 6.0% of GDP, the highest since 2006. Is a high current account deficit:

  • 82% A warning sign of economic vulnerability
  • 13% A manageable issue if underpinned by strong investment
  • 5% Other

nanc...As soon as trump his crazy tariffs, this was forecast as one of the many negatives to his plan. Add to that the big beautiful bill and all that adds to the deficit, and we’re in for a rough future.
john...The current account deficit is a function of the ongoing federal budget deficit and will only get worse with the One Big Beautiful Bill which is the real problem.
avaa...Impeach trump
cica...Yes, and unfortunately, we don’t have an administration in place that can deal with that effectively. They’re incompetent and corrupt to the person.
pegg...Trump’s Tariffs…killing us!
kaka...Trump created this problem with tariffs, now, causing these economic uncertainties. If he had left it alone, the interest rates would had dropped naturally.
lora...This is just one blip that will work it's way out,.

nanc...In severe situations, it may be the only option available for rescue. Though a human being would be preferable, I would not have a problem relying on a robot.
