| tlos... | It's been how many years since Andrew's "indiscretions" were revealed? If justice were involved, something would have happened long ago. Once Virgina committed suicide, and because there is a lot of angst directed at the Royal family now, stripping Andrew of all royal titles seem purely image driven. If Charles really felt that Andrew did something awful, he would not be privately supporting him. But then, he and Camilla carried on an affair while Diana was married to him, so doesn't the tell you where his values are? All image and protecting the brand. |
| walk... | In the Monarchy, how does one separate? |
| noon... | The kings wife is ugly |
| dlgr... | Definitely PR driven to keep those tax funded royal welfare checks coming. |
| rkoz... | Andrew should be in prison for what he did... not stripped of his titles |
| mari... | Intended to say “Image Driven” but w/ underlying influence from ethical judgment. |
| mrs.... | If it were justice he would have no financial support still and would be in jail. Creep |
| twin... | Who cares how it was driven!! It needed to happen!!! Its sickening how the epstein situation and US DIGNITARIES involvement is constantly swept under the rug!!! DISGUSTING!! trump should be in prison! And he should have to pay the women that were abused! I have NO DOUBT that he was involved as well! |
| jean... | I believe the Royals were appalled by Andrew’s disgusting actions and of course their image was tainted because of this and they do not want to be painted by the same brush. Both things are true and the monarchy acted accordingly. |
| toge... | What happened to innocent until proven guilty? |
| eliz... | Hypocritical coming from a married man who whined over the phone that he wished he was Camilla’s tampon… |
| dian... | Of course it’s for the image of the royal family. Nobody wants to be especially a royal family to retire. In such a way. I think Andrew really stepped beyond his boundaries and thought he was all that and goes to find out that he wasn’t and never will be again he has become disgrace to the family and to himself. I’m sure he’ll be fine as far as money is concerned you always have a roof over his head and food on the table, but I hope this experience has humbled him somewhat. I think he was a little too cocky for his own good and now, karma has come back to bite him. I also don’t have a lot of respect for Sarah Ferguson. I think she has been a user in so many ways she never learns from her mistake. She spends money like it is endless well. Maybe now she will be humbled by this lesson too. I just hope the girls will not be too affected by their parents downfall as far as I’m concerned, they are innocent in this matter. |
| jasc... | Too bad the other well known client/friend of Epstein is not getting his justice. He will escape like all his other crimes |
| kakr... | What took so long if it was really justice driven?? 🧐 |
| serg... | Charles and Andrew have always had a poor relationship. |
| wald... | Powerful people know what’s going on around them. They keep the lid on until it cannot stay hidden any longer |
| rtet... | Queen Elizabeth protected Andrew. Supposedly he was her favorite child. Now that Charles is King, he could not be prevented from taking action. What are Donald Trump and the GOP so afraid of in the Epstein files? |
| ray.... | Hi |
| ipka... | They are all scum, still make money from drug sales, so monarchy is dirty from all aspects |
| judy... | It’s a PR strategy to protect the monarchy! |
| deba... | I agree with their choice,but it’s a family decision. |
| bery... | He is an arrogant unpleasant person who misused his royal position . He thought that he had protection for life but now he knows that justice will prevail . |
| jean... | True justice will come from the courts |
| kiah... | There may be a set of rules that royalty must abide by in order to maintain the glorious image of the throne. If that image is tarnished, then action must be taken whether the accusations are true or not in high-profile society. |
| deri... | This is not new information… |
| csbr... | Trump was a practicing pedophile. MAGA is the face of the pedophilia and enabler of privileged pedophiles. |
| suzi... | I understand it, highly likely he’s a creep. |
| lisa... | Andrew has been an misogynistic jerk without regrets for his entire adult life, and the royal family just looked the other way until the public opinion was pressed upon the royal family. |
| mjca... | Must have been hard to do to his brother |
| ejj6... | Tough situation for the royalty. They are a moral, Christian family and also are very aware of the image royalty needs to live by as leaders of their country, so in my humble estimation, both! |
| diar... | Family firm comes first ,second & third …. No room for loosers |
Is targeting Venezuelan military infrastructure a justified way to pressure President Maduro to step down?
- 62% No
 - 24% Yes
 - 14% Not sure

| mrse... | Not without a declaration of war approved by Congress |
| mart... | One more case of overreach by Trump. This deserves debate in Congress and an explanation to the American people. One more endless war!! Where is Tulsi Gabbard? |
| mdul... | This whole situation is yet another mess created by Trump for his benefit. Let's take a look at Trump's claim that each boat he destroys in international waters saves 25,000 American lives and he has now ordered the deaths of all those on 15 such boats, meaning he claims to have saved 375,000 American lives through these actions. A total of just under 75,000 Americans died from fentanyl overdoses in 2023 and that number was down below 50,000 in 2024, the year before Trump took office. Huh? It reminds me of AG Bondi claiming that Trump's actions had saved 258 million lives through fentanyl‐seizure efforts during his first 100 days in office. All of this is complete BS. So, let's take the opposite side of the coin and just suppose that Trump has other reasons for pressuring Maduro out of office. Let's tally all the times that US regime change actions have resulted in long term stable countries under democratic systems of government. Go ahead, I'll wait. OK, now take the list of zero (0) such cases and compare it to all the times the US has tried to effect regime change and has failed to produce the desired outcome (or anything near it). |
| mary... | CIA involvement in Latin America never ends well. |
| ebr.... | Trump is not Putin, the USA is not Russia! T should snap out of his fever dream - our nightmare. Ughhhh |
| jasc... | This man really wants a war and doesn't care how it comes about |
| tubi... | dumb donald the petty-file is starting a war per instructions, so they(aipac and republicans) can suspend elections. |
| toge... | It is just Trumps way to increase authoritarianism in the region |
| bret... | First, there is no proof the boats were used to smuggle drugs. The Trump administration's mistreatment of people of Latin origin screams the need for due process. Attacking military assets supposedly linked to the drug trade needs congressional approval and oversight. The administration cannot be trusted to be honest. |
| crai... | The framing of the question was radically bias just restating undocumented claims from Trump. |
| jeff... | Not legal!!! |
| rtet... | This is all part of "flood the zone". There is no justification for a war on Venezuela. The Trump regime cannot declare war without congress. If this were really about regime change, the US would be using diplomacy. But this is just another distraction to keep the American people from connecting the dots of the GOP destruction of our democracy. The Trump regime has broke over 100 laws since January. Google it. |
| nanc... | I hate to see our military getting involved. |
| ocds... | If Columbia is producing the cocaine and Venezuela is part of the supply process, we are not targeting the source of the problem. Orange guy is a dotard. Release the Epstein files. |
| wald... | Stay out of foreign countries. No further escalations globally of any kind under any pretense |
Should the Senate eliminate the filibuster now to break the government shutdown?
- 67% No
 - 33% Yes

|---|---|
| john... | There are many good reasons to have such a measure..... especially with control of both parts of Congress under one party.,,,,irregardles of which party it is. |
| reds... | Yes, the Republicans should negotiate instead of just trying to get anything they want past |
| bret... | The government needs compromise. Stop the extremism. It is perfectly reasonable for democrats to hold out for Healthcare concessions to fund the government. Republicans will ignore the issue if democrats give in. |
| pame... | They should all work together for a solution and ensure that people have adequate health care who cannot afford to purchase it in the open market |
| mdul... | When then Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, moved to remove some office confirmations from being subject to the filibuster, then minority leader, Mitch McConnell, warned to "be careful what you wish for". That has now been seen as prescient with all the negative outcomes that accompanied it. The same holds true with every additional removal of cases from the filibuster. |
| kelt... | Republicans put americans first. Democrats put illegals first |
| john... | It’s a clean resolution, something that has never been voted against before, including this exact one. The far left has taken over their party and that’s dangerous. |
| csbr... | Failed leadership to allow a shutdown this long. Starts at the top, hope MAGA gets starved out and their insurance skyrockets. Give them what they voted for. Democrats are the minority here, no matter how they try to spin it. Still failure from Dump. |
| miah... | The filibuster is gay. Get rid of it just because. |
| crai... | 1. The Senate already over represents small, rural states. 2. The filibuster forces compromise, which is congresses job. |
| coco... | It's a stupid idea that will backfire on the Republicans at some time in the future. There are reasons the founders set things up the way they did to prevent too much power in the hands of the few. |
| toge... | Changing the rules is just not American. |
| cind... | No. Trump needs to back off and stop the intimidation, blackmail and threats of being primaried of the Republican Senate and House members and just let them do their jobs. House Republicans need to get back to DC and replace Johnson immediately. I find it hard to believe that 200+ people are ok with the harm this bill is doing to their states and people. |
| tomp... | Why is it a good idea to continue to punish the American people for Political Ideals? Why is it a good idea to tell people to work and not get paid? Have you ever had to call your auto lender and Mortgage Company and ask them to give you a payment holiday? Have you ever not known if can afford fooord food or the drugs you are taking? Have you had to tell your children, "no Field trip, no sports, no movies, no Christmas this year? |
| walk... | Need to do something. I suppose they could reinstate it later, not sure how that works |
| mari... | Republicans must agree to extend ACA subsidies. Recommend reversing the permanent tax cut to oligarchs! |
| ccac... | We must not allow republicans to stop the funding of Healthcare. If necessary , the stoppage of congress must continue. |
| pjpa... | Polling shows the public blame democrats |
Given Silicon Valley’s massive AI investments, do you think the current focus on expanding computing capacity is:
- 57% An overhyped gamble with uncertain returns
 - 43% A vital foundation for future breakthroughs

| Comments | |
|---|---|
| tomd... | I believe it's essential to our survival in the computing business. |
| cind... | Who gives a crap! All we’re talking about here are millionaires and billionaires having a good time playing God. Let them play with their money any way they want, but what does it do for average citizens and jobs? And are these data centers the ones that are raising our electric bills through the roof? |
| bret... | AI will eventually yield significant results for some companies. It will replace human workers in a big way. Unemployment will become a huge issue in the US and around the world. LLM is mostly not going to yield a strong ROI but companies building applications that automatically perform human functions will achieve great success. Autonomous robots replacing factory workers and warehouse jobs will generate amazing returns. Significant spend in AI will be a complete fail. Bad debt will be a huge problem. Discretionary products will eventually experience a huge drop in demand as Unemployment rises and job security takes center stage. |
| loug... | U |
| wlof... | Its really both. |
| walk... | Time will tell as use and capacity stabilize. But, hey, I dont understand bitcoin either, not really. |
| robs... | If investors remain cautious about AI’s uncertain returns and potential bubble as you suggest, then why is the stock market at an all time high? Investors are all-in betting on AI and chomping at the bit to do the same with quantum computing! |
| atli... | Much like fossil fuels and tobacco the taxpayer is left picking up the cost of externalities, while the oligarchs get rich on our subsidies. |
How confident are you in preclinical animal model results as predictors of human treatment success?
- 67% Somewhat confident
 - 29% Very confident
 - 4% Not confident

| Comments | |
|---|---|
| atli... | Hopeful, but more research needed funded by shuttering the department of war and spending the money on worthwhile civilian projects. |
| doct... | This is early research. Animal studies at this level do not correlate as high with ultimate success as you might think. |
| mart... | It's true that animal models don't always predict clinical outcomes but they help us design more effective clinical studies and they do give us a safety signal before launching into humans. We haven't developed anything better - despite decades of researching other options. |
| tomd... | I'm definitely confident enough to say let's move this forward to the next step in verifying its effectiveness without significant adverse side effects/complications. |
| mdul... | We all love the idea that preclinical animal model results indicate strong promise for a future drug therapy but the data tells us there is little cause for optimism at that point. Only about 10 % (and by some estimates 10–14 %) of drug candidates that pass preclinical development (animal and lab studies) eventually gain regulatory approval and reach the market. So, as exciting as it may sound right now, there is reason to lack confidence in a final desired outcome. |
If a treatment tailored by brain signal patterns dramatically reduces symptoms, would you opt-in even if it requires brain surgery?
- 86% Yes
 - 14% No
