tubi...make a deal for some of the minerals with a nation than can/will influence russia. cut out trump altogether.
rodn...Russia should go back to the original boundaries before the conflict started. Do not let Russia slide into a better position.
rgto...But don't give up!
nige...With Russia regaining land taken by Ukraine last year and US support withheld, prolonging the war may be against Ukraine. Russian aggression continuing is not a sign they want peace!
kevi...The fact that so many agree that Ukraine should negotiate giving up their land to a foreign invasion from a neighboring aggressor is coo-coo town. This just shows how pervasive Russia's billions of dollars in propganda is getting positive results
juli...get Europe’s aid and go on offense
jrv1...Have to know when to fold them. Without US support, they will lose many troops. Gallant Warriors, but country and citizens are being wiped out. While the US has sent lots of money there, the Presidents aid cutout will cost many lives and give hope to Russia
dian...Talk is cheap and it's easy to say, but to allow putin a victory would be like hitler all over again with the Sudetenland. We have harmed the free world by allowing the orange sociopath to live again ( like frankensteins monter) in the white house. There must be something that the American people can do to assist the freedom loving people of Ukraine to survive and to victory
smcc...They have little hope without support from the US.
cb10...Keep fighting for a cease fire. They should not give up their land which is occupied by russia. Russia will just keep going and soon will try to occupy Poland and surrounding countries. The world cannot let that happen.
jodu...How can they quit as the Russians will just execute them on the spot. They can't negotiate a ceasefire that would be fair because Trump has stabbed them in the back. Shame on us.
dian...The EU is increasing its defense budget and becoming more unified. Learn on them for support. Backing down leaves the door open for Putin to do this again.
geor...Despite what our President is doing to help Putin takeover large parts of Ukraine, I believe we Americans need to support Ukraine and the European countries now supporting them with our own money as well as contacting our Republican Senators and Representatives. If significant numbers of people keep up pressuring their Congressional representatives, they will step up and do their jobs and save Ukraine from Donald Trump and Putin!
brod...Lean into Europe and make Europe your proxy in negotiations. Do not accept any terms negotiated by the U.S. Europe is the only future worth having for Ukraine.
yank...The surest way to peace is to negotiate from strength.
exmx...Unless they get a nuke ( which is out of the question) they can’t win. Even if we continue to fund their effort with traditional arms, they cannot win.
maxo...This was Russian territory before the split of the Soviet Union, anyway Negotiating is the only way for Ukraine.
robs...Dear Mr. Zelensky - Since you clearly know you aren't part of NATO, your government and country mis-calculated trusting the governments of Russia and the U.S. at the time you agreed to disarm your nuclear arsenal. Were your government officials paid off to do this, to allow Ukraine to become so vulnerable, and to remain that way for a quarter of a century? HOW NAIVE!!!! How have you spent your tax revenue? You should have been investing over the past 25 years in building up your own conventional warfare defense and determent capability like Russia, whose invasion you were aware has been a possibility ever since former KGB - Putin came into power, especially after NATO moved 1,000 miles east and became a legitimate threat against Russia by adding 15 countries but excluded Ukraine. Meanwhile you, a TV star, were voted into office to lead your country as a joke while your country and culture permeates with corruption, chaos and recklessness. Your government and its inability to govern is a joke. Your country is the bread basket of Europe with a viable economy! Your country deserves to be governed by someone with basic strategic intelligence, not an amateur! Otherwise, you wouldn't be in this situation. No other large, economically viable country on the planet has allowed this to happen in the 21st Century except yours! Please explain again what it is you expect honest, hard working American tax payers to do for you after they have already given you $180,000,000, with no end in sight, while watching 1,800,000,000 young men die. For every $10 we give to you, another young man dies, and you and your government remain in power. This is WRONG! To you and your country, corruption is a way of life. In most of America, outside of our government, corruption is not a way of life. Who is looking out for the next 1,800,000 young men? If we give you another $180,000,000, what will happen to them over the next 3 years? Will they die, and will you still be in power? More than likely, yes! No leader except Trump is saying enough! And you were offered a deal to remain in power and to stop it with a significant U.S. presence in Ukraine to deter Russia from invading again, but you essentially have said NO! YOU SHOULD BE SAYING YES, OF COURSE, ENOUGH! YOU SHOULD BE SAYING THANK YOU TO PRESIDENT TRUMP & THE AMERICAN TAX PAYERS. BUT, MOST OF ALL, YOU SHOULD BE APOLOGIZING TO YOUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE 1,000,000 UKRANIAN SOLDIERS YOU HAVE FORCED TO DIE IN VAIN BECAUSE OF POOR RESOURCE ALLOCATION AND POOR JUDGMENT MADE BY YOUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT!
pguz...Given the clear U turn of US Policy under Trump, Ukraine has no alternative but to make the best deal possible now
baby...We cannot abandon them in this illegal seizure of their land and natural resources or it won't stop with Ukraine
ebr....I will always support Ukraine.
kris...I am candidly tired of hearing about the war in Ukraine. It’s a terribly racist country. We should not have sent over $100 billion in aide. Our own citizens in the US need funding for basic things like schools and infrastructure upgrades to our roads and power grid. Foreign aid needs to go away and we need to take care of our people first. I hope the war ends for the sake of the people living there, but i just don’t care to hear about it anymore and I certainly don’t care to fund it.
susa...Timing still does not seem right to get best deal - which may not be good - but the best they can get . They still have some power I believe to make progress.
meli...With support from Ukraine’s neighbors and friends
mark...I don't think they can beat Russia! Too big, and too many troops
jamf...Time to try something different! Forget about who did what - and to whom. PEACE NOW!
mark...Russia is losing so many troops and so much armament and now that the Ukraine have the EU behind them with all their support, I believe that would give the Ukraine a boost, knowing that they do not need the US anymore and they have their neighbors taking care of their back now. Hopefully the Ukraine morale is boosted by their neighbor support and by keeping the fighting going they will continue to weak in Russia and piss off Trump, which is always a good thing.
kimk...I picked Keep Fighting, but we are sure making it difficult for them and easy for Putin. No more US money, not US weapons, no US intelligence. Seems like are leader is on Russia's side.
chri...Trump is a traitor and works for our enemy and his perceived self-interests.
jekn...kindly, Fuck Russia
830l...Don't let Putin win and take their land. Hoping Europe can step up and support Ukraine even more. Disgraceful that the US is cutting off support and pivoting towards Russia.
sara...With the USA withholding intelligence Ukraine simply cannot get out of this awful situation now
anne...Avoid wider war and calm the world
gvas...You can not appease Putin. He is ruthless and he will tske it as a sign of weakness to grab more of what does not belong to Russia
jwb2...Seek peace. This war was totally unnecessary
zack...One of the biggest foreign policy lies (of which there are many) told by the last administration was that Ukraine had a chance to win this war. “Biden” beat the war drum for 3 years and millions died. Now the coordinated propaganda machine tells you peace is bad.
maar...Even with US backing, this is a war that can't be won without boots on the ground from western allies. The world can seek to stop Putin's aggression now by sending in our troops along with European troops; or accept the aggressor's terms to cease fighting. I really don't see what the other options are.
brin...Russians are exhausted. Take the $300 Billion of Russian assets in European banks and support the VALIANT FREEDOM FIGHTERS and not the LOSER trump that surrendered 1/2 of the US to the russian dictator
pman...They are losing because nato, Biden and Trump now never pushed back on Russia. Instead Russia was able to instill fear- they are weak and could be defeated easily -

Do you trust Jerome Powell’s statement that the economy is “in a good place”?

  • 75% No, warning signs are emerging
  • 25% Yes, the fundamentals are still strong

EmailComments
came...Look at all of the chain stores that are closing This is a bad sign
ptib...Stock market is extremely volatile, US international trade is being greatly affected by government flip flopping and the business that the administration want to be “made in America” is not something that can change overnight.
darr...Tariffs looking are causing a pull back in discretionary spending. Higher prices at the cash register and uncertainty about the impacts of tariffs in the future, both near and long-term, are causing us to tighten our belts.
egha...Transition for tariffs
susa...I can’t even bare to look at my portfolio
jrv1...I spot economic weakness.
gary...Trillions of dollars of investment thanks to Trump… yes the future is bright. Economy and markets are two different things. Wake up people.
juli...uncertainty is not our driend
mary...Trump’s incompetence will continue to throw us into uncertainty.
cb10...Warning signs being the chaos that spews out of trumps mouth daily.
rmby...Warning signs are emerging due to Trump’s tariffs and handling of our government & Doge. President Biden handed over a good recovering economy. Was there more work to be done, yes. However, we moved to Trump’s atomic bomb theory, blow up everything! Now there is mention by financial experts of stagflation. When people don’t buy and inflation is so high we are paralyzed. That started in the 1970’s with its’ height in the beginning of the eighties. You don’t want to experience that in our economy. It was brutal! If you think the price of eggs is high, wait to see the cost of housing, interest rates will soar. Credit card interests rates will be higher with no Consumer Protections Bureau to be the watchdog.
baby...Our fake president and his toady with a chainsaw are destroying all the headway made to recover from the Covid slump and bringing us to a global recession
mary...Early days. Trumps plan is just being implemented.
dian...It's in a good place for billionaires.
zack...Warning signs are emerging???? lol The last 4 years was a massive warning sign!
twin...Trump is disbanding any branch of service that has tried to investigate trump and his illegal activities! He is ruining our country
dajo...I'd like to know how much of the job growth over the last 4 years was due to federal jobs and why they kept fixing the reports after they were published.
kevi...Good place for who? Who's economy? Not a trick question, and we know the answer. Hint, it's not the majority of Americans..
jodu...This is January's report, February should be eye opening.
mdul...The leading indicators all signal trouble ahead. Normally, once the lagging indicators show the negatives, it's just to confirm what we've already seen.
meli...I hope that I am wrong
zorr...Lies continue
mark...we are definitely heading into a recession thanks to Trump and musk and all their henchman, Powell is just placating Trump or maybe just trying to keep our morale up as US citizens, but I have been through several recessions and I can see the warning signs. Many people I talk to are cutting back. They’re spending less, building their savings just as my family is, we all can feel it, and as we all start to cut back and communicate, that’s the snowball effect that will take us into the recession.
cica...Yeah, the city President of the United States is the biggest warning sign. He’s a disaster.
bach...I don’t like what I see on the national level in terms of how it could impact our economy, but I do trust Powell.
clem...Everyone needs to learn not to listen to the pundits. They are typically focused on only a few things and sometimes politically motivated. The US economy other than our national debt is in great shape. We have to solve issues. 10k fed workers sounds like a big number until you realize 70k took 8 months pay to retire and there were 3 million employees to start. That is less than 1% of the fed employees. Drop in the bucket nationally.
smcc...Hate to say "we told you so".
runn...Unstable economy and recession looming
let3...Every sector of our economic picture is in the ground. This includes housing, stocks, and banking. Even Social Security is being threatened which has been a historically consistent Federal program. And lets not forget the price of EVERYTHING!! So No! The economy is not in a good place.

Do you believe Google’s dominance in search is harmful to consumers?

  • 61% Yes, it limits choices and competition
  • 39% No, Google provides the best service

EmailComments
ebr....If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
rgto...Like anything else, don't blindly follow 1 thing.
mdul...It is true that, today, Google offers the best search results. However, they use their almost complete control of that market to stifle competition so we never know what might be developed that is even better.
zack...More importantly Google has spread lies and propaganda. When you own a monopoly that lies and hides information then you need to be broken up. Very basic stuff here
kris...Google is too powerful. Absolutely needs to be put in check. Speaking of tech companies. Why is no one in the media talking about Bill Gates and his crimes against humanity. He should be rotting in a jail cell on death row.
brin...It allows them to identify segments of the population that will be responsive to propaganda and what type of propaganda - and then feeds them propaganda
clem...I'm less about choices and competition as we have a lot of other search avenues. Its more about how they control the searches so that they exclude certain topics or information. Google search is less about consumerism and more about how its used and controlled.
trag...Consumers deserve a variety of choices for search engines. Competition breeds innovation and enhanced quality , monopoly does not.
tubi...yes, but there are other available choices that do a poor job of marketing their software. they need to step up their visibility.
sava...I bought Google stock for $30K years ago... it is now worth about $200K. They are doing a good job and are a good fair competitor in the marketplace.
padm...People don't remember what the world was like before Google. Also, nothing is preventing from others from actually following the Google playbook that got them here.
jodu...We don't need a monopoly, but is this actually being driven by the DOJ or Musk?
cmar...You can easily switch to another search engine, but many don’t bother.

Do you approve the government's pro-crypto stance?

  • 75% No, it adds instability
  • 19% Yes, it promotes growth
  • 6% Other

tom3...Not crypto, but Bitcoin. I appreciated y’all’s deepdive on Crypto and maybe you mentioned this in a later part but Ethereum, and therefore all of the crypto projects that run off it, are hosted on Amazon Web Services. It means that they aren’t actually decentralized. Bitcoin on the other hand is hosted by nodes run by individuals. If the goal is to take away the incentives behind printing more currency from nothing and have an asset which is truly hard, BTC is unique.
laur...Our county should go by the gold standard, again. Crypto can be hacked and isn't a real means of currency.
rjre...It is a very poor choice as bitcoin has proven over and over its lack of value. trump is just looking to make money at the people’s expense.
jodu...I don't believe that our government is acting in the best interest of our citizens. I have lost all confidence in the Trump government.
bobg...The move into crypto worries me as I do not understand the associated risks
runn...A money grab and corruption scandal by Trump and Musk
baby...A non fungible non currency is highly volatile, much like trump and Musk themselves
mpda...Talk about instability - in 2001 gold was $500/oz. Today it is nearly 6 times that amount. How stable has the Us dollar been when it is worth 1/6 the value of 25 years ago?
zack...Whether people want to live in the real world or not…crypto style money is the future!
juli...It’s dumb.
mman...This is a disaster waiting to happen.
cica...Crypto is a scam. And when it collapses it’s going to make the housing collapse of 2007-2008 look quaint
meli...I can not make an informed opinion at this time
wlof...I dont understand it. I need to read your deep dive
smcc...Stupid...just stupid!
sara...Not informed enough to have an opinion.
brin...It's for criminals and tax evaders to carry out their illegal activities
cb10...Not sure yet.
jack...Trump is getting rich off crypto currency. This is not typical behavior from a US president.
mark...Crypto is all make believe just for the rich to get a little bit richer, every financial advisor I talk to tells me, stay away from the crypto market, if you want to do something risky just stick with 100% stocks much more realistic than crypto And for the government to dabble in it will just destabilize the economy, even more when the crypto market falls.
kevi...Crypto is a legalized, exasperated version of the already gambling nature of the stock market. The ability for these "pump and dumps" will expedite the already unstable economic bubble we're already in.
mary...Trump is a destabilizing force on our economy
ebr....Trump is a known con man and convicted criminal. I don't see how anything he pushes is taken seriously. Most Americans are dumb as rocks, so I guess it tracks. Look who was elected. Le sigh.

Do you think Neom is a visionary project or an unrealistic fantasy?

  • 90% Unrealistic, it's doomed to fail
  • 10% Visionary, it will transform the region

EmailComments
ebr....Why are we entertaining doing business with these people? It's like everyone forgot about 9/11. I'm already upset by LIV taking over the PGA as much as it has. Sure, America and the PGA had their problems, but those problems aren't solved by adding more problems on top.
cica...It’s the crypto of projects
meli...Unrealistic
dian...Why not feed the ego of trumpests by starting a project to grow oranges in Alaska. I'm sure we could do it, maybe ten bushels for one billion dollars. It's impossible to defy nature to such an extent. Saudi Arabia is what it is , hot and dry, here in Wyoming we'd kill to trade Januarys with them.
cb10...What a ridiculous joke.

Are you more concerned about cognitive decline or physical aging as you get older?

  • 84% Cognitive decline
  • 16% Physical aging

EmailComments
zack...I’ve always been stupid lol…but after 20 years of intense military service my body has broken down. My physical body feels way older than 41.
runn...Physical age as it applies to myself
baby...It runs in my family amd as a single woman living alone it is a terrifying proposition. Our medical system is woefully inadequate in supporting cognitive care in the aged unless one is wealthy
pmcd...I am concerned about both equally.
meli...I’m concerned with both. I’m 75.
greg...Definitely not one or the other here. Physical aging is the cause of cognitive decline.
jodu...I am 87 and can live with the physical aging, but cognitive decline is something I can't see an upside on.
sara...Physical cdecline can to a deghree be assisted by well estabished pratoses and equipment and medicine. This is not the case yet for congnitive decline
vegi...I feel I have more control over my physical condition so it worries me less.
laur...I'd rather have my brain. Otherwise, why even live as a potato?
eles...There is more I can do to slow physical aging than cognitive decline
ebr....How painful it'd be to be aware of your surroundings and unable to move. That'd be worse for you as you suffer without others knowing. I'll change my answer to physical aging.
