Just facts, you think for yourself
Could Australia’s intelligence system have realistically prevented this attack?
- 42% No
- 36% Uncertain
- 22% Yes

| scub... | The Australian Prime Minister is an incompetent idiot who is clearly anti-semitic himself and fosters radical islamist development in Australia pandering to the Muslim immigrant population. Good luck Australia. It was a very nice country. He did not even mention the victims were Jewish in his news release and will brush this under the table as an isolated event - watch |
| wayn... | We don’t know how organized this tragedy was or how many people were involved or over what time period. The investigation will yield these answers and if there is something that could be done in future then I am hopeful that it will. |
| tuck... | I’m unsure of their laws and immigration policies |
| ocds... | This is a dumb question given that the blurb doesn't give any information about the Australian Intelligence service. How the heck should anyone be able to base an opinion on that? |
| robb... | As many nations now have to do, Australia suffers from its kindness of allowing Muslim immigrants into its country. Now, all countries need to figure out how to get rid of them. Give them an island that is habitable. They will have to work to make it their own. It will never happen as they are lazy. They feed off the goodness of countries but add nothing to their society except for vast amounts of children. |
| phal... | One of the attackers was a known terrorist linked to ISIS. Australias gun laws did not help prevent this attack. |
| perm... | There are groups, such as Tablighi Jamaat, which are radicalizing Muslims. Any Intelligence Agency or counter terrorism agency should be aware of such groups, especially when *several Muslim nations, including Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Iran, have banned Tabligi Jamaat, along with Russia, which disbanded a terror cell in 2020. In 2021, Saudi Arabia called the group a "danger to society." In the U.S., its missionaries operate freely. *Asra Nomani, Fox News, article dated December 3, 2025. |
| raza... | Realistically, they arn't condeming antisemitism enough and dismissing it as an issue currently, hence they won't prevent it, they even fuel it in a sense. |
| atli... | If there were no assault weapons fewer people would be killed. The manufacturers should be held accountable for making this possible. |
| mich... | I'm not certain that Australia's intelligence could have prevented this attack, but the Prime Minister certainly holds some responsibility, for his Anti Israel stance and rhetoric as well as not doing enough to combat the ever increasing antisemitic threats and attacks on it's Jewish community. |
| fcse... | Don’t know about Israel’s security system. Often these shooters are under the radar. Unfortunately with rising antisemitism Jewish events and synagogues need police patrols and guards. |
| jamf... | They should have a Task Force watchgroup to prevent this! It is part of the global invasion under Biden that invited " |
| jeff... | Unclear if Israeli intelligence had briefed Australian intelligence. If they had then Australia didn’t move quickly enough. |
| pete... | Probably not but this sort of question is impossible to answer. |
| lora... | These types of events show that Ilegal immigration needs to be controlled. We cannot allow terrorists into our countries unchecked. We also need to stop anti-semitism world wide. If Muslims cannot accept this then let them stay in their own country. |
| kvas... | Who can predict the activities of lunatics? Especially hateful, bigoted, small-minded lunatics incapable of thinking for themselves who follow the lead of other hateful, bigoted, small-minded (but huge-ego'd) lunatics. |
| cger... | Progressive Leftist are winning at making the world a less safe place to live. By endorsing illegal immigration and Palestinians terroristic causes allowing unvetted terrorist to disseminate across freedom loving nations they will succeed in making the world subject to chaos and anarchy. |
| bjef... | Not enough information. |
Do global terrorist attacks impact how you view domestic mass shootings (e.g., in terms of threat perception or response)?
- 52% Yes
- 43% No
- 5% Other
| Comments | |
|---|---|
| cger... | It is very obvious that the Progressive Leftist chaos and anarchy that they espouse is coming to fruition. They have suppressed freedom of speech on college campuses and across social media (meta, google and YAHOO all censored free speech) and promoted violence and it's working. Evil is winning. |
| kvas... | For so long the U.S. led the world as a role model for liberty and equality. Now it is leading the world as a role model for hateful bigotry and meanness. What goes around comes around. |
| cand... | Is there a reason for this question? Was this attacker foreign? A known terrorist? |
| bjef... | Global or home grown, it doesn't matter. The propaganda put out over the internet takes advantage of unstable people who then take advantage of freely accessible weapons designed to kill lots of people to, surprise, kill a lot of people. The second amendment was written to allow citizenry to keep arms primarily as a defense against a government turning against it's own people. Well, we have that now. But the citizens are killing themselves, instead of the government. It's pretty simple: eliminate the types of firearms that can kill lots of people quickly and at the same time allow citizens to sue the manufacturers of said firearms out of existence and you would eliminate a lot of the problem or at least slow it down. There would still be illegal manufacturers, but much easier to find and eliminate. You could also use your AI to catch people using inflammatory verbage and close those emails/websites automatically. Same thing for any websites originating outside the US who don't clearly say where they are from. That is a more slippery slope in the hands of our own government who already consideres it treason to even mention they aren't God's gift to mankind. Oh well. |
| jamf... | Biden allowed the terrorists in under Operation Allies or some other quackery that allowed haters of the West into our country. He is guilty of treason |
| phal... | The initial suspect was released |
| aunt... | It's HORRIFIC no matter where it happens |
| tpre... | I wonder if the global terrorist attacks suggest to mentally unstable people that they too can do mass shootings. The man who did the mass shooting at Brown University had a significant mental health history as had most of the domestic perps. |
| lora... | Again, illegal immigration is causing these issues. We need to put criminals in jail and not let them loose. We need to have capital punishment for rape and murder. We need to engage the death penalty no longer than three years. |
| atli... | Eliminate guns designed with the sole purpose of killing people. |
| b.go... | Violence is violence. |
| pete... | Generally speaking, the US has always had far more gun violence, especially mass shootings, than other countries. Virtually none of them have any connection with terrorism. |
| doct... | Insanity is insanity |
| fcse... | Domestic mass shooters have some personal issue that is usually unknown until it happens. It’s not like tracking known terrrorist groups. |
| scot... | Evil and metal health are difficult to predict. I do know we need to revamp how we deal with mental health and healthcare overall |
Do you think SpaceX’s proposed $800 billion valuation accurately reflects its future growth potential?
- 43% Yes
- 41% No
- 16% Unsure

| robb... | They will eventually be THE cellular phone service that takes over the airwaves. |
| kvas... | Don't know. Don't care. I won't pay attention to anything that strokes the ego of the only person who is as big a megalomaniac as Orange Boy. |
| bjef... | Because SpaceX's proposed valuation only helps those with it's initial offering, i.e., the original investors. Usually IPOs plunge right after their offering so the more accurate evaluation will come out in about a year. Unless you have founder's stock, you're pretty sure to be fleeced. |
| eric... | You have these numbers wrong. Spacex valuation is already at 800 billion. The tender offer is already happening at $421/share. The 2026 IPO would be at a higher valuation, 1.5 trillion. This isn’t even reporting if you can’t properly summarize the many articles you’re linking. |
| cmic... | Space X survives on government contracts. My guess is that if there is a change in government, those contracts may be at risk. |
| atli... | Why are taxpayers having to support the profits of private atmospheric polluters ? |
| cger... | Musk is a genius and puts his genius to work for him and the rest of the world. |
| lora... | As I said earlier, if you believe the valuation and you have money to invest buy, if you do not believe the valuation do not buy. However, what ever your decision, live with it, it is a free country and we live in a democracy so if you lose your money it is your fault and you should not be reimbursed with government monies. |
Should exporting synthetic DNA sequences require government approval?
- 79% Yes
- 17% No
- 4% Other

| lora... | Why do we want the government involved. We want less government not more government. |
| dora... | Out of control we enter the realm of diminishing teturn |
| atli... | Biotechnology data should be open and free to all regardless of the countries who receive them. Competition needs to be replaced by cooperation for the benefit of human progress. |
| cger... | America is one of the best places for creativity and innovation. It must be protected from those that copy, steal and cheat to obtain and capitalize on the benefits. |
| bjef... | A synthetic DNA sequence is just like a copyrighted or patented protection and, as such, should only be released in a licensed format to protect the developers. Even when something is terribly important, however, like the mRNA vaccines, our government will still screw it up by refusing to do anything. So yes, release the sequence with a cost just like you would any patented or copyrighted product. That won't stop countries like China or Russia from not playing by the rules. What we should do is build elaborate protections about definitively dangerous sequences and let the thieves steal them and use them! |
| doct... | This is about life, not money. |
How significant do you think the negative effects of heavy coffee drinking on bones are compared to its other health impacts?
- 56% Minor
- 28% Very significant
- 16% Unsure

| lora... | This is probably another non profit study that had to show a result to get more money from the government. We should stop funding all non profits until we pay down our debt at $38 trillion. |
| kvas... | Um, I guess you're asking the biochemists and other knowledgeable scientists in the room and not me. |
| atli... | What difference does it make what people think. What is needed is more unbiased scientific research. Close the department of war and fund science for human benefit with its budget. |
| bjef... | There aren't a lot of benefits from drinking coffee other than alleged alertness. |
| cger... | There a reason for the saying...."everything in moderation" |
Which is more important for future cancer therapies: reactivating the immune system or directly killing cancer cells?
- 53% Both equally important
- 38% Reactivating the immune system
- 9% Directly killing cancer cells

| cger... | Trust the human body, it is amazingly powerful. |
| kvas... | As someone who knows absolutely nothing about this subject, I guess I should feel free to give my "opinion" since that doesn't seem to prevent a lot of people, but I just don't. |
| bjef... | The best way is for the body to take care of the issue. By definition, that means the cancer cells will be killed. But the emphasis should be on how to best get there, not in the hoped for outcome. You can use a shotgun to kill cancer cells too, but except for a few gun nuts, most would see this is somewhat counterproductive. Energizing the immune system basically restarts what we have at birth that fights cancer every day we're alive. |
