If Trump suggests that Ukraine should concede territory to Russia, who invaded, then you know where he stands and who he's "in bed" with. This is not only morally and ethically wrong, but also in contradiction to the Budapest Memorandum.

nata...	I personally am cutting back and also not spending on Amazon. I think people will see how expensive crap is and realize they don't really need it. They are saving their money for food. Also restaurant spending in the first couple of months of the year are typically down since people are recovering from the holidays.

It's cautious spending an awful lot of us on the left side of Florida all the way up into Tennessee and North Carolina have been spending money on rebuilding homes and cities as opposed to vacations and fun stuff. It will eventually turn itself around. Plus there's been a pretty serious winter if you don't think any of this is weather related you really don't understand how this country operates at all. The most expensive item in a house is the granite. The next most expensive and the the item you use the most of is lumber. Those affect new home prices. You need to separate out new homes from existing home sales The fact that you don't do that in this story means you are doing a disservice to the topic. Because the lumber and the granite and a couple of other things don't affect existing home sales. Existing home sales are based on a whole different number so learn how to report properly on home sales and what affects their prices You're scaring people for no reason.

shas...	I bought a condo a few months ago and received notice from my lender that the insurance is no longer sufficient per Fannie Mae and want to charge me several $100s more per month!
fc95...	I have no symphony for these Condo owners. They chose to under insure and postpone maintenance over a period of years to "save money" with lower annual assessments. Going cheap is now coming back to bite them.

dcol...	I am in the Mortgage business, and in my town, particularly we have lots of condominium projects. Fannie may have some arbitrary requirements for condominiums and therefore many projects certainly in my town are getting on the “blacklist“. It’s very unfair and has created a problem for buyers and sellers alike. In some respects, the list is good, but they need to spend a little bit more time before they blacklist a project, and offer a easier solution for the project to get off the blacklist because it’s very hard to get off the blacklist.
kold...	I bought a home three years ago and have had more than 100,000 in repairs because the sellers kept information from us, deliberately. I was going to sue them, but found out that we both used the same law firm, creating a conflict, so rather than try to find another firm, I just ate the cost. We need 100% transparency on real estate matters.

If these properties are being blacklised due to repair needs then the public should be either made aware as to what they are getting themselves into and therefore sign documents accordingly or be protected by the banks. If the banks know these properties are bad risk, I believe they have the right to not accept a mortgage on these properties.

cmes...	Get another story where you don't really get the topic so I hope you go find a condo management company or a condo association attorney to talk to before you write stories like this. We do have this transparency this information is in the estoppel package when you go to buy a condo. The problem is real estate agents. The real estate agents that live in the areas where these condos are located know exactly what condition these buildings are in because they sit around and get all the gossip. There isn't a real estate agent in Clearwater Florida that doesn't know about two specific buildings one on the beach one on island estates that are in horrible condition. Actually I could probably throw a third or fourth one on that list but those properties come up for sale and those real estate agents know exactly what's wrong with those buildings and they still sell those condos to people. I go back to the agents they know the info all of them there's no secrets in the condominium sales world. Plus all the board members of all the condos are all friends and they know each other's dirt. It's actually an interesting topic. If a condo association is being sued by an owner because there is a " structural" issue in the building Fannie Mae will not write a mortgage. Known. This is not a surprise. You can check to see if the condo association you're about to buy into and be approved by has issues like that. It is also true that if a condo association has insurance issues Fannie Mae will shut down the mortgages and the other reason is if there are too high of a percentage of rental properties as an overall percentage of properties if it gets over I think 20 or 30% there's actually a real number out there, Fannie Mae will not do loans. So every condo association board out there is always counting up the number of rentals and their association divided by the number of properties in the association and they all watch that number because it affects the insurance and the ability to get properties mortgaged. This is very old news and absolutely everybody in Florida knows it.

jllm...	Why should some people be able to eat anything, do nothing and maintain there weight just because maybe they have the right combination of genes. Many people suffer their whole lives because of a crap shoot at birth. 32% still believe it’s their lifestyle that maintains their girlish figure, don’t know what it’s like to exercise, eat nothing, sleep well and still be 50lbs overweight.
