Just facts, you think for yourself

Do you agree with Trump's assessment that Ukraine can reclaim all lost territory from Russia?

  • 51% Yes
  • 49% No

EmailComments
sbga...They should be able to reclaim their own country from Russian aggressors. Trump is late to the party but hopefully realizes that his good friend Putin has made him look naive and ineffectual .
kold...I wish it were true. Trump is babbling, there is no plan to recover Crimea
kost...Ukraine has already lost the war, its economy is in shambles, mobilization of new recruits has run into big problems and the army shrinks as a result, the new weapons supply does not compensate for the lost material while Russia permanently increases its military production and personnel numbers. The dynamic analysis shows a growing imbalance against Ukraine.
dsqu...It’s not realistic to expect this, especially for Crimea and without more weapons supplies from the U.S. I don’t believe Trump engaged more military support for Ukraine.
bria...Simple, those territories were and are part of Ukraine.
pamy...With NATO's backing including full support from the US, I am hopeful that Ukraine can regain all of it's lost territory.
vtgr...With a lot of help. I
karl...If given support by the United States, Ukraine should be able to regain all of their homeland back.
matt...Ukraine is lost. They can either give up now, or continue being slaughtered. It’s sad to see
step...Not realistic. Trump made numerous controversial claims that should have been included in this poll.
barb...I would like to see Ukraine get all their territory back and be made whole again but Putin won’t let that happen. He is a ruthless, war criminal. I don’t have any confidence in Trump or his words. He changes his mind like people change underwear
tmj6...With sufficient US support
cbvi...With the EU's help, Russia cannot keep up with their war efforts... I don't trust Trump at anything he says... he cannot be trusted...
rmen...There will have to be territorial concessions if there is a peace negotiation
chri...It would be great if they could but I don't there is anyway politically for Putin would give up the territory especially Crimea. What Trump needs to do is stick with today's stated policy. He should finally exert greater pressure on Russia with additional restrictions. And greater support of Ukraine and BATO rather than disparaging them. Hopefully he can stick with a policy more than a week or two. I have little belief in that but I can hope for it
jhqu...If there in political will on the part of the US and Europe to protect Ukrain and restore its control over the presently lost territoy, then sch control will be restored.
geor...If Putin gets to keep any of the Ukrainian lans he is occupying on the current war, Putin will want more. We let him take Crimea under Obama, and as soon as he pulls he went back again for more. We were a big part of Ukraine giving up their nuclear weapons and abilities with Russia promising hands off. So Russia took Crimea, and we did nothing. So they are back again. Putin’s GDP is only about the size of New York state. Time for this President to stop attacking Americans and add real American might to NATO and with the European countries take back Ukraine and vote Ukraine into NATO!
dmis...I wonder if this question was worded as "Do you believe that Ukraine can reclaim lost territory" if the results would be different. Why do you have to make it about Trump. The way it is worded shows bias.
hine...If NATO can pay for the weapons anything would be possible on territory claiming. There won't be much left in terms of infrastructure after the reclaiming but then NATO can help rebuild Ukraine also.
aran...In truth, however, how would I know? Badly phrased question. I hope Ukraine can reclaim all lost territory from Russia. In theory, they could, but they need a lot of assistance they're not getting.
hmar...Not without USA & Europe commitment. Trump assistance could change on a dime
bget...Where there's a will, there's a way. Vacillating policy is not helpful and sends a mixed message from the US to Putin and the rest of his thugs. The question Americans have is what are you willing to put up with AND what has past history taught us?
jazz...Trump flies by the seat of his pants .
tubi...yes, though in spite of dumb donald the petty file, rather than in lieu of anything that spills from his cake hole.
nanc...I wish that was the case, but feel doubtful it’s possible at this point.
jeff...I would love to agree, but Putin will not allow this.
lezd...I only agree because it should have never been taken away in the first place. Otherwise I don’t agree with anything Trump does.
robe...Who is going to make Russia give it back.. this administration sure has Proverbs 6 16-19 covered in full. These six things doth the LORD hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren.
cger...In order for Putin to "save face" he will get to keep what he has stolen.
ebr....Russia invaded Ukraine, a sovereign nation. Yes, all Ukrainian territory circa 2014 (including Crimea) belongs to Ukraine. #westandwithUkraine
rose...Why would Russia follow thru on request ?
beck...I believe Ukraine CAN win back its territory but not certain it WILL do so. The final determination rests on the degree by which the allies will step up and confront the Soviets (yes, I said Soviets) directly.
milt... Yes, but only with U.S. and NATO support, which I don’t see happening.
geof...It’s becoming more clear that the cost to Russia of this war is not sustainable and if it trickles down to a very bad Russian economy, they will have to stop.
lew....why didn't you cover the embarrassing, rant that Trump unleashed at the UN complete with hosts of blatantly wrong statements?
kvas...I do believe Ukraine can and should reclaim all its lost territory. However, I do not believe that Trump will be saying the same thing 20 minutes from now. He's a loose cannon.
rand...I would love to see that happen but no one seems to want to take on Russia to that extent - especially Trump
tere...Give Russia and inch, it’ll take a mile
laur...Not without a cost and not without support.
jake...It could be done if Ukraine is supported by NATO forces and is allowed to strike inside Russia with American weapons.
tahe...Russia should NOT be allowed to gain any territory from Ukraine as this would just serve to encourage them to continue to expand not only into Ukraine, but also other former USSR countries!
pkva...Of course they can. But only with the support of the rest of the world. Putin's terrorism has cut short and/or irrevocably altered the lives of thousands of Ukrainians and if he is allowed to take any territory from a sovereign by force his expansionist goals won't stop there.
sipo...Too little, too late
pfor...Not without a ton more help from the US, and our toddler leader keeps changing his mind and what he is committed to do. I sure wish he would get out of Putin's pocket and the European leaders would call him out for the moron he is. Can't he see the death and destruction Putin is causing?
lfbr...Anything is possible. The question is how long must the war continue and how much more death and destruction will take place. Putin is unwilling to lose.
john...Naval base is considered essential by Russia. They will never allow it to be in NATO hands. Further, Crimea is mostly all Russian anyway, so what is the point?
dave...YES WITH AMERICAN SUPPORT AT ALL LEVELS
nanc...I don’t believe anything he says and no one else is saying that
cfio...The President is many things, but statesman is not among them.
h2od...It’s ridiculous to think this US proxy war should continue without concessions from the Ukraine. The US / Ukraine backed Russia into a corner, violated multiple agreements a provoked the desired response with the specific intention to escalate into a larger conflict, all orchestrated by neocons. Trump is getting dragged into this under threat, duress and coercion by the zionist war mongers. Very sad for all who were and are being sacrificed.
atli...An end to the war needs to be negotiated. That means giving up something. Has the world lost its collective mind in favor of power over anything that exists?
gpaf...It’s absurd to think an invader (Russia) is entitled to keeping land taken in attacks. Why would anyone think appeasing Putin is a good reason for a lasting peace? The minor countries supporting Putin are puppets. They would scream if they were invaded. But it would be too late for their “self-discarded” voices to be heard.
ris....They should they fought hard
toni...Ukraine is a small country and has lost many men in this war. A 49% rise in casualties over a year highlights the problems with using older less trained soldiers. Without the US or Europe supplying boots on the ground in my opinion I don’t know how this war can have a better outcome for Ukraine. I am against further US aide.
alte...But only under maximum economic pressure on Russia by.combined, integrated and fully coordinated U .S and E.U. sanctions on Russian oil and LNG exports to the point of collapsing the Russian economy.
fred...It has been long announced that Ukraine will have to give up some of the eastern provinces to Russia in order to end the war. The recent announcement by Trump that Ukraine can win the war militarily will hamper the effort to end the war. Ukraine can only win the war militarily if the US provides all the necessary tools of war to Ukraine and NATO countries add to the effort. Then following the announcement by Trump, Marco Rubio announced that only through negotiation will the war end. Confusing announcements only nullify any peaceful end to the war.
pete...Absolutely not. The best that can be hoped for is a return to the pre invasion status but it will take a full blooded commitment from the US to even get back any of the land occupied by Russia since the invasion.
akyg...Yes, with more US and NATO assistance. No, with the current level of assistance.
lkdn...It would take an enormous military effort to remove Russia from all of Donbas and Crimea including heavy bombing Russian cities which could result in the use of nuclear weapons.
spr....Only if aliens come to earth and support Ukraine.
pjpa...He’s sending Putin a message
moir...When will the US get out of the way?
cdcn...I don’t agree with anything our pos president says. On top of being stupid, he is a liar. Release the files.
cica...Not with the lack of support provided by Trump
egan...Can you believe anything he says?

How concerned are you about contracting an infection from drug-resistant bacteria?

  • 66% Very concerned
  • 34% Not very concerned

chri...with current administration we should expect no research to stop this problem
cica...Especially with this administration’s FDA, CDC, etc and their slashing of Medicaid and eventually Medicare as well as gutting the Affordable Care Act. Thanks MAGAt’s
atli...Anything that happens now could be a disaster with a fool in charge of our health department.
clai...As a retired nurse I saw this problem increasing in the hospitals. Very concerning
eliz...3 per 100,000 cases is not that concerning
cfio...4500 cases in a country with 335 million people. I'm not very concerned.
mlan...Anyone should be, especially older adultsts
rita...Using lifestyle as a way to increase immune strength ( and never having abused antibiotics) gives me confidence.
cger...Clean out cuts promptly and WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!!
kvas...Very concerned and even more so than I otherwise would be now that the lunatic Worm Brain is in charge of the CDC and health agencies in general.
john...Seems like a self inflicted wound.
ende...Only concerned if I am admitted in a hospital
bjef...We've only been talking about this for at least 40 years now in the medical profession. They're fueled by giving people antibiotics for everything, but usually viruses. However, we've been unable to stop wholesale use of antibiotics because of misinformation and, in the current era, a health department run by a fool. Oh well.
geor...So where is our Government supporting new medicines as we have know for years that antibiotics’ are becoming less and less effective as strains of all bacteria - not just this one - have gotten more powerful and most antibiotics have become way less effective. Maybe if the CDC reinstated studies on the mMRA base, that or some other source would be found as a replacement for antibiotics - or in essence find a new type of antibiotic.
tere...RFK JR will hold a press conference with other unqualified people to reassure us that he’s got the situation under control. Just fight like hell. And if that doesn’t work, listen to your doctor
pjpa...The flood of 20 million illegals into our country from all corners of the world 🤦‍♂️
lkdn...Need more research
carl...healthcare worker
nanc...Best to steer clear of hospitals if possible.
rtbu...I am concerned with the increase but the overall incidence is still very low.
102d...Friends have had this problem. It's a nightmare that takes it toll on overall health.
akyg...I’m 72 years old. Damn near every health issue scares me. Wish I was 45 again.
ebr....With RFK Jr. at the helm of the HHS, we're all in for something.
chri...Our current CDC, FDA and NIH game been neutered by Trump and RFK JR and won’t be able to effectively deal with threats.

Do you trust that the projected benefits of AI infrastructure investment will be realized by the public?

chri...too much energy use too much manipulation of information.
bjef...Most of it will be used to somehow, cost us more money. After all, the profit in AI has to come from somewhere, right?
pete...The possibilities are overhyped. US companies will look for profitability before public benefit. China is winning the race anyway.
chri...Concerned there are no national and international boundaries being planned to assure public safety.
hine...Time is money; money pays for more medical and safety for the public; money pays for better business decisions.
russ...Publicly traded companies have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders, not the general public.
geor...First, the question should be how many employees remain working at these locations after the construction is complete? The number of people needed to run these locations is minimal, so we have to stop looking at the number of short-term workers when selling communities on these locations -although it is important work - and look at the costs to the communities for these locations. Second, So far it appears that there will be a power shortage almost everywhere these exist. And with this administration cancelling solar, wind and other energy components to remain in the dark ages with only fossil fuels, we will be in big trouble trying to keep up with power usage. Third, the President made fun of China and other countries who are spending billions on wind, solar, etc. and will take over the IA race as they will have the needed power to support IA. China’s investments in non fossil fuel will break whatever hold the US May have had on AI leadership.
jazz...It will cost us jobs.
nanc...Who is paying for all the infrastructure required to power these data centers? Taxpayers and electricity consumers, that’s who. What happened to lowering electricity costs for consumers, tRump promised? Nowhere to be found, just another lie that MAGA fell for hook, line and sinkers. Sucker born every day.
beth...So very much water and electricity is needed! They are proposing to re-activate a nuclear reactor in Wisconsin because of AI's high need for electricity. And they are proposing to take an gigantic amount of water from Lake Michigan every day, to run their machines.
kvas...Yawn
mich...Ultimately the advancements in science that will be achieved by AI should benefit us all
kath...Unless reasonable guidelines for use are established, this over dependency on artificial intelligence will enslaved the masses and enable them to be controlled by the few. The recent research showing the mental decline of those using AI to compose messages is shocking and should make us all wary of this wholesale surrender of human intelligence to the mechanical! Beware, humanity!
cger...Embrace the new or get left behind.
bill...They will be used to benefit the wealthy. All the corps involved seem to be facists
lkdn...Eventually but it will take many years. I wonder if new technologies will substitute for what we have now.
atli...Without concurrent investment in renewable energy, AI signs a death warrant for humanity. China is the only grown-up in the room.
tere...Utility rates climb to cover the infrastructure costs for upgrading necessary to power AI. The economic benefits of AI are concentrated in the few.
cgva...Can’t trust anything run by this administration

deca...And with the Trump administration hiding critical data …. the administration canceled the annual USDA food insecurity survey, a move that drew criticism from economists and experts, who say the data is vital for tracking the effects of inflation on vulnerable households.
cger...There is always some "pain" before healing and being better than before. Ever had a hip replaced?
nanc...Not much good news about the economy these days, but you’d never hear our illustrious president saying anything was bad. After his speech at the U.N Conference yesterday, you’d think we were rolling in dough due to his wonderful policies.
sbga...Tariffs have never worked and prices are continuing to climb in an environment of increased unemployment.
pete...Nothing in the pipeline offering economic benefit. Current administration policies, unless substantially changed, will only cause further decline.
ebr....Don't be fooled or distracted. Release the unredacted Epstein files!
edc....Nervous
geor...Holding my breath, but can see prices are rising on so many things so fast! Hope the Congress gets a spine and takes back their authority on Tariffs
jabo...We have only just begun to feel the impacts from the regime’s ignorance and recklessness.
bjef...Just listen to Trump's speech at the UN. Then spend a bit of time considering the fact that he and his circus of incompetents is right there to help us. The old joke, "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" is now no longer a joke. The new version? "I'm from the government and here to grift!" The economy is already failing.
tjs9...There is a lot of fixing to be done. Not even Trump has a magic wand. These shifts take time, effort, focus, risk, and commitment, and there are ALWAYS bumps along the way. Any successful business person knows this. It's the long game that matters. People need to be patient and trust the process.
laur...Inflation up, gdp going in wrong direction. Groceries are sky high!
kvas...Traitor Don is bent on destroying the economy. I just hope that the U.S. is big enough and strong enough to endure another three and a half years of this nitwit.
cica...Inflation is still hurting my family

Do you believe that any level of alcohol consumption is harmful to brain health?

  • 65% Yes
  • 35% No

patr...And yet alcohol propaganda inundates us thanks to sports and entertainment venues.
cycl...Reporting on this topic is disappointing. You say there is evidence of dimentia with small amounts of alcohol but totally gloss over the fact that non drinker had nearly as high a chance as heavy drinkers. Light drinkers had significantly less than non drinkers and heavy drinkers. Why was that not the focus of this report?
pbat...I’m confused by the results of the study that non- drinkers and heavy drinkers posed the most risk of getting dementia while light drinkers still have some risk. Does that mean everyone has risk. Why would non- drinkers have the same risk as the other categories?
musi...My grandmother who was able to live until 95 years old had dementia. And she never had even a slight experience with drinking. I don’t believe in that study. There is research information they withhold on purpose.
adel...I found this piece to be difficult to understand. I’m not clear on what it’s saying at all.
becc...My father was a daily drinker 3+ cans of beer and ended up in a memory care unit for Dementia. It is concerning.
rita...The second paragraph of this “article” is unclear. VERY unclear.
kims...this is unfortunate news :(
joll...Trump doesn’t drink and he is clearly delusional !
cger...Only a progressive leftist would answer "no".....they live in a delusional world already.
hine...Every body is genetically different and the question implies the whole world population would be harmed with one drink. Questions should be more focused. Age, other health issues, diet, exercise/activities, location, etc. affect everything.

Would you be willing to incorporate kimchi into your diet because of its health claims?

joll...Delicious 😋
clai...I actually like kimchi
kbir...It’s yummy and has health benefits so why not
ceal...I already eat it weekly, have a jar in my fridge!
tari...And no animals are harmed. A plus not only for our health but for the environment and morality. What's not to like?
joel...I love kimchi!
hine...Needs more testing between the different blood types and races of people including the different available diets where each are at.
kvas...Uh, yuk
tomd...It also tastes good to me - something both healthy and enjoyable - no brainer! :)
cger...It's on my COSTO list.
