With the additional damage that tariffs are like toothpaste. Once it’s out of the tube it’s hard to put it back. Once you reset a pricing system because of tariffs, even if you subsequently eliminate the same tariffs, prices don’t go back to the same level. It never happens…

It's not a "Negative" since it is essential, for even the farmers who have voted for Trump even though its against their own self-interest would eventually have to come terms with the reality that Republicans had duped them time and again.

hine...We give away billions to other countries in dollars. We should keep those dollars in the US supporting internal jobs and send food abroad. We need to retrain farmers to grow things that the government can buy and distribute abroad. Paying farmers to not produce is the worst thing that we can do. Grow crops or beef and poultry amd ship them abroad and not our tax dollars. It would be better to dump the food in the ocean than to pay people to not produce something then give others money to produce. Free food for the world is better than what we do now with our tax dollars abroad.

Using tariff money to fund this relief is good for the farmers, but what happens when/if his tariffs are ruled illegal and have to be paid back? $12 billion down the drain because of his ill thought out trade wars.
