- 46% Yes, it will likely provoke a negative response

---|---|
roth... | The US and Europe must provide troops for Ukraine or Russia will try again. Ukraine is our hope to keep Eastern Europe free |
dnde... | It’s still the right thing to do though. |
juli... | Ukraine is an equal to Russia and should be treated as such. |
mads... | Russia will respond negatively but too bad! We should keep Ukraine supplied and help them force Russia to leave. The 1994 Budapest accord should be enforced and Russia needs to relinquish it's hold on all of Ukraine. |
blue... | Putin the Tyrant will never acknowledge Ukraine or concede to any fair solution. What has Putin to loose when the USA, led by Trump is in his pocket. |
ljar... | Trump Administration should support Ukraine's military rights but doubt land-grabber Putin will agree. |
ebr.... | Putin is terrible and cannot be trusted. The US asking Russia to recognize Ukraine's military seems like a waste of time. The time for negotiating with Putin passed years ago. Ukraine should be welcomed into NATO with open arms. Idk if we're even members anymore. But they should be accepted into the Alliance, then goodbye Putin. I stand with Ukraine. |
lawe... | Crimea is rightfully owned by Ukraine and is justified in pursuing control of the area. |
ag3r... | Russia insists on weakening Ukraine as much as possible |
chri... | Bullies don't respond to kindness. Putin is a bully. |
to55... | Ukraine has bravely faught back a tyrant ( Putin ) and an evil comunist regine (Russia ) |
beck... | Russia’s initial response will be negative which is a standard reaction. If the U.S. and Europe stands firm on recognizing Ukraine’s military rights, that stance could change but Putin will still insist on keeping captured territories, including Ukraine. |
visi... | We are aware that Ukraine gave up it nuclear weapons when it became it's own country separate from USSR. It is ridiculous that Ukraine cede any territory to bully Russia. For Russia to demand that Ukraine demilitarize is absurd. All Russian demands are absurd. Ukraine should become a member of NATO for its self protection. |
arth... | Russia, is Russia. Lying, conniving and breaking their word is what they do, as a nation. |
lmat... | Russia is behaving like a bully and Trump is being played by Russia. Trump has not increased the tariffs on Russian made products. Russia will continue to take more. It is time for congress to step in. Trump has surrendered to Russia!!! |
lora... | this is simple. If Russia wants to take away Ukraines military rights then the US and EU have no other choice to let Ukraine join NATO. It is as simple as that. Russia request to take away Ukraine military rights make no sense. |
robs... | tensions are already so high, they can't be escalated |
fjba... | If Ukraine is/was willing to give up Crimea for peace they should have done that 3 years ago and avoided the destruction of their country. Russia will not back out of Crimea for peace and are clearly the aggressor with their sights on more than Crimea - like resurrecting the USSR again. Russia should be stopped, and if the US won’t see to it, Europe should. Aid to Ukraine should continue until Russia is militarily and economically exhausted and the populous wises up and overthrows their communist dictators. The US almost single-handedly fought and won the Cold War with resources and a lot of patience and diplomacy. No way should they turn their back to Ukraine after having pledged support leading them to oppose Russia which they have done in a spectacular display of nationalism for their freedom. |
loza... | Russia and Ukraine established an agreement on their territorial borders back when they separated from the Soviet Union. The integrity and defense of the territory became an obligation for Ukraine from that point forward |
ssli... | While I hope it will lead to a more equitable negotiation, and agree they should have military rights, I expect a negative response from Russia |
flyn... | Ukraine should not give into a tyrant dictator |
cica... | There needs to be a third answer: Other! Putin can’t be trusted. Trump can’t be trusted and now neither can the United States. Turning our back on Ukraine the way we’re doing as a disgrace. The United States has officially covered itself in disgrace. This entire administration needs to go immediately. And in its place and renewed and vigorous effort to get behind Ukraine and drive the Russians off of Ukrainian soil. We promised Ukraine security guarantees 20 -30 years ago for them to give up nuclear weapons. It’s past time for the United States to honor that agreement. |
faye... | Asking for military rights are absolutely imperative as Zrussia will always return if there is no way fro Ukraine to protect itself. Ukraine needs to get the Crimea back to protect themselves and Europe |
cell... | No country has the moral right to ask any other country to cede any part of its country in the face of armed aggression. If the reward is more territory, then doing so will only encourage more aggression. The US is not an honest and objective broker of peace talks, and Putin is not a reliable party to abide by any agreement. |
jagm... | They have every right to be able to defend themselves and deter future aggression |
yank... | Putin needs to see the resolve from Europe and the US to stop his reckless and dangerous behavior. I believe he only understands force. |
barb... | Russia may have a negative response but Ukraine must stand up for their legal rights! |

- 49% Yes, tensions are too high
- 31% No, both sides will seek to avoid conflict
- 20% Unsure
Comments | |
---|---|
chri... | Politicians on both sides profit from skirmishes. |
barr... | Both countries have hydrogen bombs and many religious fanatics who are not afraid to use them. Hopefully assured Annilation |
atli... | Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews. Don't you just love believers in the supernatural who are incapable of rational, secular solutions. |
lora... | this is just the media negotiating in the press for headlines. India and Pakistan will agree on terms |
Do you believe Google's strong earnings will continue in the face of economic uncertainty?
- 75% Yes, they have a sustainable model.
- 25% No, external factors will negatively impact them.
Comments | |
---|---|
zack... | “Sustainable model” also known as a monopoly. |
rgar... | At some point their monopoly will be broken up. |
atli... | Todays oligarchs love monopolies. |
susa... | I own shares of both Google and Google/Alphabet. I have been following them and other techies for years. Several have good basic practices but need to look at changes that will make them more sustainable |
mdul... | Google's monopoly will allow it to continue its sustained increases in revenue and profit. Musk recognized the regulatory threats to his various businesses and bought the presidency so that he could then remove the regulators and change the outcome of contracts to support his businesses. Sundar Pichai does not have that ability at this time so the only thing that can threaten his business is a governmental demand to divest businesses to relinquish the Google monopoly. Even if the country moves into a recessionary period, Google in its current form will outperform. |
chgr... | anti-trust trial will not result in loss of search business. you tube and way will continue to develop. business model is sound. |
Is allowing self-driving vehicles to operate without human controls a step forward for innovation?
- 59% No, it’s too risky
- 41% Yes, it’s a breakthrough
Comments | |
---|---|
rgar... | My wife keeps telling me that our cars will be repolaced by self drivers. I for one will never get into one. |
kase... | Loosening regulations and safeguards is a mistake with new technology. |
tdug... | Elon Musk nepotism. It's disgusting |
lisa... | We can’t even stop cyber crime, how can we stop hacking into self driving vehicles? Not to mention, Atlanta has some of the craziest drivers ever, so add self driving cars into the mix and all defensive driving techniques go out the window |
mdul... | It is akin to Trump feeling that our nuclear programs have fallen behind Europe's ability to generate nuclear power so he suspends the safety protocols and processes so that we can catch up. Admittedly, makers of self-driving vehicles have had the unenviable task of having their accident rate compared not to equivalent human driving but to perfection. However, removing the guardrails to safety as their technology improves is likely to only increase accident rates, even though Trump's move also reduces their reporting requirements. |
blue... | Trump supports. It's the price we pay for his personal financial benefit and massive PAC donations. |
cica... | As long as it’s proven safe. Of Course with this administration all bets for honesty, and that regard is off |
ebr.... | People are not expendable as much as Trump wants to make it so. |
gabe... | Over 36,000 people die in the roads year after year after year. It’s almost as though, psychologically, these deaths are grandfathered into the equation. They’re just accepted as fact. Whereas people getting incredibly afraid of autonomous driving even though it’s gonna save tens of thousands of lives. We have to move forward. |
chri... | Human labor is too valuable in modern economies for spending time driving on straight lines on highways. |
rlow... | Computers fail from time to time |
atli... | The administration's elimination of regulations across all industries is reckless and dangerous. |
rjre... | This is another Musk need so Trump gave it to him. Safety factors MUST be held to high standards for humanless driving vehicles. |
susa... | Not for me. Ever!!!! |
jenn... | Expanding collision exemption will allow cars to kill pedestrians without consequence. That is unacceptable |
sgbo... | This autonomous vehicle idea is ridiculous all it will take is one glitch in the system and these vehicles will go out of control and start crashing into walls or running off of a cliff man should always be in control |
zack... | They already drive better than humans |
rola... | All about a trump giving Musk what he wants |
mitc... | At least the self driving car won't be on the phone while operating the vehicle! |
whit... | I've been using Tesla"s most advanced Full Self Driving technology daily for the past year. I'm a good driver, but this system is safer because it has better situational awareness than I do, even in complex city traffic. To anyone using the latest version of Tesla's FSD on a daily basis, driverless vehicles seem like the next logical step. |
Would you personally take a vaccine for Lyme disease if it became available?
- 57% Yes, I would take it
- 32% Maybe, I need more information
- 11% No, I would not take it
Comments | |
---|---|
mcke... | I recently contracted Lyme disease after moving from Ontario to PEI. I walk my dog in a wooded area. I instantly had the telltale bulls eye and began treatment. My dog is now vaccinated against Lyme disease and takes tic and flea medication monthly. But there is nothing I can take. The ramifications from serious complications are frightening. I would definitely get the vaccine if it were available. |
whit... | Assuming the Lyme vaccine has passed critical federal safety tests, I would most certainly take it. Too many people distrust science today. They take the advice of a nobody on the Internet over the doctors and researchers who develop and test vaccines. |
mtwo... | We are in an area of very high exposure to Lyme bearing ticks and this would be a welcome vaccine!! |
ebr.... | For sure. |
blue... | Living in a CT shoreline community, we saw the beginning of this disease emerge 40 years ago. My sister is one among many who have been unable to walk, work, play and enjoy life due to Chronic Lyme disease. It has affected everyone here; parents, children, siblings, friends and pets. We complete routine and daily checks of our families and children's clothing and bodies for ticks after playing outdoors, particularly if near the woods or grasses. |
nadr... | I’m currently in a Lyme vaccine trial with about 6 months left to go. As I live in an area with high Lyme prevalence this is a critical need so any new options will be critical. |
neds... | I suspect vaccine use would only be recommended in areas with high Lyme incidence vs wide spread. This paired with the US’ current anti-science sentiment (see other comments) + the mindset “I’m never going to get Lyme even though I live in Lyme, Connecticut” will negatively affect adoption. Which is tragic because the bacteria infection can have devastating long-term impacts and we should take advantage of science that makes us healthier. |
geor... | I have seen too Many people suffer for years with Lyme Disease - only makes sense to get vaccinated! |
lew.... | I have a condition that produces a huge excess of an antibody that attacks Lyme Disease, so I would have to know what antibody would be produced by the vaccine and if it was the same one that I'm having a problem with. |
mads... | Lyme disease is an rampart in the NE. We desperately need a vaccine. |
scot... | I live in a high tick area and have had Lyme before so I would take the vaccine. |
whit... | Becoming available, conveys the vaccine has undergone extensive human clinical trials for safety as well as efficacy and having been reviewed by the FDA & vaccine advisory boards. Assuming we'll still have some semblance of the FDA. |
vivi... | I know a couple people whose lives were terribly affected with Lyme disease. No thank you! |
pkob... | We are an over-vaccinated culture. |
sara... | We need it!! |
How often do you consume caffeinated beverages?
- 85% Daily
- 8% Rarely or never
- 7% Occasionally
Comments | |
---|---|
mdul... | I do, however, limit myself to only 2 cups of coffee each day and never consume energy drinks. |
geor... | 2 cups of coffee a day and sometimes green tea as well! |
rgar... | Coffe every morning |
lawe... | Besides having a neurological effect on the body, I avoid it because it’s a bladder irritant. |
mary... | Always start the morning with Anna’s Daybreak News and a cup of coffee |
ebr.... | Coffee every day. Sometimes after dinner, or socially out at restaurants, too. |
meli... | Only coffee. And not too much. Decaffeinated coffees have improved a lot. I tend to alternate decaf with caf now. |
