- 14% Unsure

robe... | I think the only way to have a sustainable regime change is to have it initiated and supported by the Iranians. We should definitely destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities and ensure they can not be resurrected |
bill... | Region change is in the hands of the Iranian people. Forced regime change is costly, timely and usually does not end well. |
jjgo... | Iran is a terrorist group that has more than demonstrated their hatred for the free world. I do not think they have any intentions to be friendly to the US, their beliefs will not change. There is one question “ should we allow Iran the ability to build nuclear power “ the answer is no ! What the US did had to be done. I hope the bombs set them back for many year in their ability to advance forward in the development of nuclear power ! |
mdul... | Trump believes that he is able to do anything and seems to go out of his way to try to do things just because others have not. Noting that our track record of nation building is heavily weighted in the "loss" column, regime change is an area that has proven disastrous to our national interests and spending. I recognize that Trump is and has been the worst POTUS for the economy and our national debt and that he doesn't care about costs. Given all of that, it seems likely that he may well try to accomplish regime change in Iran but that doesn't mean it serves his America First pledge. |
ebr.... | Here we go again, sticking our nose in everyone else's business while we suffer at home. Damn these never ending wars. So pointless. |
ttog... | They are a real threat to us and the world. We have 700,000 civilians in Israel. Iran needs to stop there attacks on us and Israel. |
bhad... | I wish the USA could have a regime change! |
csbr... | I hope all MAGA get drafted as frontline infantry if this escalates into something larger. Great opportunity for all the cosplay Meal Team Six to really show their prowess as well as expendability. Maybe we can go after North Korea next to really flex… |
tbra... | The Iranian people must be responsible for regime change. |
kath... | The regime in power will continue making nuclear bombs if not changed and replaced by a democratic secular government |
donc... | It is up to the people to change a regime. Although I believe a high percentage of Iranians desire change they don’t have the masses to protest and ultimately overpower the police and military power that they would be met with revolution. |
susa... | What a mess!! Obama had initiated a non proliferation agreement with Iran that Trump withdrew from in 2018. Look what happened. They started rebuilding with gusto |
tubi... | the war that satanyahoo started is none of the US business. |
drol... | A regime change is needed in the USA. For certain!!!! |
bjta... | Let the Iranian people decide who should govern them. The only goal of the US should be to stop the production of a nuclear bomb. |
mind... | Let Israel fight their own war. |
caff... | Our track record on such multi-trillion dollar misadventures speaks for itself. |
guin... | It seems unwarranted for the United States to change regimes that the United States judges to be undesirable . The people of Iran should have that power even if they do not. Reducing certain devastating weapons of war can be hypocritical but perhaps justifiable when those weapons are likely to be directed to the countries that are threatened.. |
coch... | In a region that is already unstable, I find it difficult to believe that regime change would help bring about stability. Past actions on the part of Western countries are proof that these things never go accordingly. What I do foresee, eventually, is blowback. And I hope I am wrong. |
pldm... | Nuclear non-proliferation is the goal. It may mean that the regime has to change but we should not get involved with that feat. |
boba... | who really knows the future but God himself. so is it a good idea? i certainly don't know. |
jeff... | We eliminate the threat from Iran and that only. |
wate... | Although regime change may improve regional security in the Middle East, that is not the role of our government. Regime changed needs to come from inside Iran through its own people. |
rbir... | Install tje former prince to change to a Democracy. |
katg... | We shouldn't even be in that mess. |
miar... | We’ve attempted regime change in the past. The results have been disastrous. |
remy... | Attacking the nuclear facilities shouldn't have been done either! Trump made a mockery of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and of negotiations with the US! Whether Trump was dragged into the conflict by Israel and the neocons or it was his plan all along doesn't matter at all. He made certain that no one else on the planet would ever trust the US ever again. |
m10k... | I hate to see people suffering under those who preach hate but it seems the USA dealing with regime change typically just brings more suffering |
mhog... | Let Israel handle the regime change from within. |
joll... | Neither of these options are unbiased. WTF? Now you use the same vocab as the biased NYT. Children are not racist until they are taught to be by society and the media and news outlets. Stop the anti Asian anti Arab anti Persian propaganda. How about regime change in Israel? Israel is not just a potential threat it is a real and proven threat to its neighbors. An honest to goodness Terrorist state. How about according to international law, all of the settlements in the West Bank within the illegal wall that Israel built are forced to move to neighboring Arab states. Everything Bibi says is a lie. The US is blind $$$ and continues to spread the evil racist Israeli propaganda. |
dwba... | IRGC remaining in power may only lead to another terrorist state and continue to oppress the great Iranian people. Why should they be entrusted to shift their brutal and oppressive ideology? |
alir... | I disagree with the forced options here. The focus should NOT be on nuclear non-proliferation by bombing facilities and risking extremely costly wars. It should be done diplomatically while negotiating in good faith. |
luke... | The Iranian people are the only ones who can successfully complete regime change. |
jlcg... | I am not sure the question was relevant :would it be possible to block nuclear weapons proliferation in Iran without first provoking the collapse of the mollah's regime. |
rjtl... | Regime change would further destabilize the region and likely result in the Revolutionary Gausrd taking power |
blik... | “Regime Change” is a cheap dog whistle to any anti-Trump media Marxist, D or RINO, and you know it! Change in Iran will come; KHOMEINI is over 80, and the people of Iran have rebelled before. Maybe this time they will rise up and bring sanity to their own “regime”! Think 1776. |
arth... | Often the replacement is worse than the problem. The U.S. doesn’t have a good track record in initiating regime change. |
atli... | Neither of the above. |
vhh3... | If it requires boots on the ground then my answer would be no. However if the people want to rise up and change their leadership then I would be for supporting that effort. |
mmal... | Regime change only results in repeated failure. |
cdzu... | We don't want another war |
capt... | Let the Persians determine their own governmental fate. Should that outcome continue to be military/terrorism jihad (not evangelism or proselytizing), the appropriate steps should be taken to corral such acts. |
h.hu... | There should be an option that states the US should leave the region entirely and not focus on nuclear non-proliferation either. |
jmbe... | Regime changes in the US, Israel, and Russia would be a much better outcome for humanity. |
fnpn... | That is completely up to the people of Iran. I would say that the majority of people do not like their leadership. It is strictly up to the people I’ve ever ran to make that decision. |
Do you believe Meta’s approach of personally recruiting AI talent with massive financial incentives is the best way to advance AI development?
- 58% No, innovation depends more on culture and
- 42% Yes, personal outreach and incentives drive progress

nanc... | Zuckerberg is too late to the party. |
davi... | Zuck’s pattern of abuse, manipulation, & gross negligence of morals is at the core of Meta culture. Hence, working with Meta contractually means hires align with this ethos. Wiser souls prefer the lighter karmic cost , and will not march to his banal business beat. |
Will the final bill shape tax policy and regulation positively or negatively for the next decade?
- 65% Negatively, it misses opportunities or creates new problems
- 18% Positively, it addresses key priorities effectively
- 17% Too soon to tell
Comments | |
---|---|
mark... | This could be a trick question. The final bill may result in a massive defeat of Republicans in the mid-terms, and that may indeed result in a positive change. |
cica... | This turd is a disaster |
lizm... | It’s a complete disaster and will negatively impact our country and our environment for a long long time. |
rjfe... | Giving the ultra rich tax cuts does nothing to improve the overall economy. Belief that they are dumb enough to refrain from investing without tax breaks is a lie perpetuated by the most greedy and corrupt. |
pete... | It will increase annual buget deficits and the national debt substantially if it remains in place for ten years. |
anth... | Puts priorities in the wrong place. It helps wealthy people far more than those who have need. And threatens the long-term financial health of the nation. |
tubi... | its just another ridiculous fleecing from taxpayers. they should be making cuts to everything, especially military spending abroad. |
atli... | It is all about redistributing wealth from the bottom to the top |
land... | The rich don’t need more tax cuts, no one is illegal on stolen land, and even if they are “illegal” they are human and deserve to be given basic resources that help feed their families. |
nanc... | It’s creating massive new problems. Let the billionaires pay their taxes! |
erni... | Trump is stupid and so are his kids GOP/ maga asses |
decl... | It's fiscally irresponsible to add that much to the debt |
blik... | How many Americans are getting a Civics Lesson in what can or cannot be done in a “Reconciliation Bill”? Are you now understanding what will come next in a process called RESCISSION? Conservatives need to get active in following your Congressman and Senators!!! Now. |
jmbe... | I'm still trying to understand the logic behind eliminating taxes on overtime pay. Are OT workers bringing home time-and-a-half pay suddenly an underprivileged minority? Why not just eliminate taxes altogether? After all, Trump and the GOP support increasing the national debt without any limits. |
bjta... | Tax policy will remain with the Congress. Whichever party is in power will determine the tax policy. Democrats will increase taxes and spend it on a bloated government and ill advised programs. Republicans will cut waste and put more dollars in taxpayers pockets. |
mlbr... | It will destroy the middle class, veterans, seniors, and anyone on Medicad!!!!! |
Do you believe fully autonomous robotaxis can be as safe as human-driven taxis?
- 55% Yes, technology can match or exceed human safety
- 45% No, human judgment is still necessary
Comments | |
---|---|
mdul... | Although autonomous vehicles (AV) have still further to improve, their accident rate is already arguably better than vehicles driven by humans. AV accidents vary by company but are in the range of 0.6 - 1.0 crashes per million miles with no fatalities whereas vehicles driven by humans have an accident rate of 2 crashes per million miles and about 0.013 fatalities per million miles. This is not a true apple-to-apples comparison since the AV travel patterns are not the same as those vehicles driven by humans but it does point to an AV safety record comparable, perhaps slightly better than humans driving. Then, consider that the technology will get better whereas humans driving are not likely to improve their accident rate accordingly. |
mark... | Tesla is making a big mistake. |
walk... | Really hard to say, human drivers make mistakes and wreck every day. |
joel... | Human error is always going to be a factor. |
serg... | My Tesla drives better than me. I am 70 years old and this technology saves my life and/or the people that I could have run over. |
jmbe... | I don't want to go anywhere near one of those things, either as a passenger, pedestrian, or fellow user of the highway! |
shay... | I have ridden in Waymo driverless taxi in San Francisco. No one will own a car in the future. No need for parking a personal car or insurance. A new safer world! |
pete... | It can eventually, but we are not there yet. |
cica... | Certainly not anything from Tesla or F-Elon Musk. This guy is the second biggest con-man in the country. |
h.hu... | Technology can match or exceed human safety but Tesla doesn't use LiDAR, so its technology does not exceed human safety whereas a group like Waymo does. |
atli... | Can be as safe, eventually, but not now. |
matt... | Humans aren’t that safe. It’s one of the leading causes of death for Americans |
Would you personally choose to undergo periodic low-dose rapamycin treatment if proven effective and safe?
- 76% Yes, I would try it
- 24% No, I prefer natural aging

kmju... | With precision medicine becoming more available and our life spans increasing due to overall quality of life increasing, I want to give my body the best chance it can get to function at a high level. |
cica... | Of course, I would like to understand more about side effects |
jimb... | Quality over quantity |
elin... | Side effects even at low doses can be nasty. You didn't mention the side effects, so many would choose the "Yes I would try it" option not knowing that consideration. |
chri... | Being able to maintain a healthy body and sharp mind are I portant! |
dore... | I would only try it in combination with Trametinib because of their ability to reduce inflammation which is such a cause of pain and discomfort. Living a longer life is a goal when one can remain pain free and active. |
Given the study’s small sample size (32 patients), how confident are you in the generalizability of these results to the wider population?
- 76% Yes, I would try it
- 24% No, I prefer natural aging
