   ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, is on a hiring spree in the U.S., looking for experts in biology, chemistry, and healthcare.

   They want to shake things up in drug discovery with AI.

   Why though? Experts think TikTok's vast user data could be a goldmine for healthcare research.

   ByteDance might craft drugs tailored to young viewers' needs or even more nefarious goals, although that's just speculation.

Job Openings Hit Three-Year Low

   Last November, job openings dropped down by 62,000. This is the lowest number in three years.

   Despite this, there are still 1.4 jobs available for every person out of work.

   Now, layoffs are also at rock bottom since the end of 2022, and people aren't quitting like they used to.

   Oh, and did ya hear? The U.S. is sitting on a $34 trillion mountain of debt.

Massive Blasts In Iran

   A memorial event in Iran turned into a scene of carnage. Two bombs went off, killing at least 103 people and leaving 188 hurt.

   The bombs exploded in Kerman, Iran, during a tribute for Gen. Qassem Soleimani (military mastermind killed by a US drone in 2020).

   No group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombs. However, Iran's leaders called this a "terror attack" and promised tough action on culprits.

China's Ministry Maneuvers Against the CIA

   China's Ministry of State Security is now using cutting-edge technology to rival the CIA.

   Their goal? To outsmart U.S. intelligence. The Chinese have unleashed A.I. to keep tabs on important foreigners.

   At secret meetings, Chinese spies demanded an A.I. tool to build quick profiles on 'persons of interest'. These profiles would be rich with details—car plates, phone data, and personal connections.

   By using these A.I. profiles, Chinese spies are better equipped to choose their targets, exposing their secrets and weak spots.
