SpaceX Falcon 9 Streak Ends with Orbital Failure
SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket was unable to deploy its latest Starlink satellites properly. This ended a streak of over 300 successful launches since 2016.
On Thursday night, the second stage of the rocket had a liquid oxygen leak that stopped a crucial second engine burn. The satellites ended up in the wrong orbit and will fall back to Earth.
Upcoming SpaceX astronaut missions could be affected. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will review SpaceX's investigation results before launches can resume.

A demo shown at an internal OpenAI meeting hinted at advanced human-like reasoning skills. However, OpenAI hasn’t disclosed when Strawberry will be available to the public.

Combatting SIM Swapping
SIM-swapping is a dangerous form of identity theft. Criminals take over your phone number. Your calls and texts go to them.
They pretend to be you to the phone company. They claim the original SIM card is damaged and ask for a new one. Once they have it, they control your phone number.
They can access your accounts and lock you out. The FBI reports a 400% increase in SIM-swapping from 2018 to 2021. Losses exceed $68 million.
To protect yourself: Use strong, unique passwords for different sites. Employ a password manager if needed. Enable multifactor authentication methods that don't rely on texts. Set up a unique passcode with your carrier. Stay alert for phishing attempts.
