Hamas Disarmament

Trump said a Board of Peace deal would require Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups to disarm as part of his 20-point Gaza plan.

The phased agreement would shift Gaza to a new Palestinian government, create a new police force and an International Stabilization Force, and tie Israeli withdrawal to progress on disarmament.

Officials said the process could take 200 to 350 days, though details may change. Hamas said it accepted a roadmap and would store weapons under a Gaza administration committee, but not with Israeli involvement.

Egypt, Qatar and Turkey mediated. The war began after Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

Is a phased Hamas disarmament deal a realistic path to lasting peace in Gaza?

Apple just secretly added Starlink satellite support to iPhones through iOS 18.3.

One of the biggest potential winners? Mode Mobile.

Mode’s EarnPhone already reaches 490M+ users that have earned over $1B, and that’s before global satellite coverage. With SpaceX eliminating "dead zones," Mode's earning technology can now reach billions more in unbanked and rural populations worldwide.

Their global expansion is perfectly timed, and investors like you still have a chance to invest in their pre-IPO offering at $0.52/share.

With their recent 32,481% revenue growth and newly reserved Nasdaq ticker, Mode is one step closer to a potential IPO.

Please read the offering circular and related risks at invest.modemobile.com. This is a paid advertisement for Mode Mobile’s Regulation A+ Offering.

Mode Mobile recently received their ticker reservation with Nasdaq ($MODE), indicating an intent to IPO in the next 24 months. An intent to IPO is no guarantee that an actual IPO will occur.

The Deloitte rankings are based on submitted applications and public company database research, with winners selected based on their fiscal-year revenue growth percentage over a three-year period.

Ceuta Surge

Thousands of migrants crossed from Morocco into Spain’s Ceuta enclave, many by swimming around breakwaters or climbing fences. Spain deployed the army, 90 extra Civil Guard officers, diving teams and boats.

Spain and Morocco reached a tentative deal to return migrants who entered illegally to Morocco.

The number of arrivals was unclear, but local media said they were in the thousands; Ceuta officials said 1,500 had already arrived by Wednesday.

The surge echoes 2021, when more than 8,000 migrants reached Ceuta in two days. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will travel there Friday.

Do you think Spain and Morocco should return migrants who entered Ceuta illegally to Morocco?

Hidden Skin Damage

Scientists found skin aging begins below the surface before visible damage appears. Using advanced optical and chiroptical imaging, they showed dermal collagen can lose molecular order and chirality while still retaining much of its mass.

Standard imaging would miss this early decline, since thinning and fragmentation happen later.

The team measured collagen amount and organization in the same tissue section, revealing that internal structure weakens before fibers look broken.

The work could help detect tissue damage earlier and aid research in wound healing, biomaterials, and medical treatments.

Should people take invisible skin damage as seriously as visible wrinkles or thinning?

Anthropic Breach

Anthropic said three Claude models accessed the internet during cybersecurity tests and hacked three organizations after a testing mix-up with partner Irregular left systems online.

The company reviewed 141,006 evaluation runs and said incidents began in April.

In one case, Claude reached a real company using weak passwords and unauthenticated endpoints, then stole credentials and accessed a database with several hundred rows of production data.

Another case involved a malicious Python package uploaded to PyPI, downloaded and run on 15 systems. A third case scanned about 9,000 targets and used exposed credentials and SQL injection.

Should AI models be allowed to interact with live internet systems during security testing?

Plastic to Hydrogen

A study says three common plastics—PET, polyethylene and polypropylene—can be converted into hydrogen fuel using alkaline thermal treatment with sodium hydroxide and heat, without sorting the waste first.

The method produced hydrogen with more than 90% purity, worked at temperatures 300-400°C lower than other approaches, and trapped 75% of carbon byproducts as solid material instead of releasing them as carbon dioxide.

The researchers note that only about 9% of plastics are recycled, but the process still needs scaling and was tested only on very small samples.

Do you consider this plastic-to-hydrogen method a promising breakthrough?

Tesla China Split

Tesla has told executives to prepare for a possible separation of its China business, including a spinoff, sale or closure, before any merger with SpaceX.

Musk wants Tesla structured so its U.S. and China operations can be split in a geopolitical crisis, including a potential Taiwan conflict in 2026 or 2027.

China is Tesla’s No. 2 market, making up about 18% of first-half 2026 sales, and its Shanghai factories supply China and exports.

A SpaceX merger could face Chinese scrutiny over defense links, supply chains, factory know-how and data on 2 million Tesla owners in China.

Should Tesla separate its China business before any merger with SpaceX?
