Good morning news friend! Discover today’s defining stories and the future they set in motion. 📰🌟

Most of us rely on an annual physical to sleep well at night. But here is the terrifying truth: 50% of heart attack fatalities occur within hours of the first symptom, often before a patient can even seek help.

Even scarier? Half of the people hospitalized for heart attacks had "normal" cholesterol levels by standard guidelines.

I just went down the rabbit hole on modern cardiology, and I realized most of us are using a playbook from 1972. This deep dive exposes the "Illusion of Safety." We break down the "Widowmaker" phenomenon , the genetic "time bomb" called Lp(a) that 20% of the population carries unknowingly , and why a standard stress test often misses the lethal "soft plaque" waiting to rupture.

This isn’t just about living longer; it’s about ensuring your "healthspan" matches your lifespan.

Stop guessing with average care. Learn why your arteries might be aging decades faster than you are and the specific tests you need to demand.

Your health is your true legacy. Read this before your next check-up.

Clintons to Testify

Bill and Hillary Clinton agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation after resisting subpoenas and facing possible contempt charges.

This is the first time a former U.S. president will testify before Congress since 1983.

The Clintons previously provided limited sworn statements and deny knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, noting Bill Clinton’s association with Epstein ended years before Epstein’s 2019 death.

DOJ photos show Clinton at Epstein’s estate decades ago. The Clintons criticized the investigation as partisan. The committee holds millions of documents related to Epstein and other figures. Their testimony may clarify Epstein’s network.

.

How credible is the Clintons’ claim that they have no new relevant information about Epstein?

U.S.-India Trade Deal

The U.S. and India struck a trade deal reducing U.S. tariffs on Indian goods from 25% to 18%. India agreed to eliminate tariffs on U.S. products and halt purchases of Russian oil.

India committed to buying over $500 billion in U.S. energy, technology, agricultural, and coal products. The deal ended a trade dispute initiated in August 2025, involving reciprocal 25% tariffs and additional tariffs on Indian imports of Russian oil.

Despite tariffs, U.S. imports from India grew to $22.1 billion in late 2025. Key Indian exports like pharmaceuticals and consumer electronics, especially smartphones, saw strong growth. The deal follows India’s broader trade agreement with the EU.

Should the U.S. leverage trade deals more aggressively to influence geopolitical decisions, such as India’s oil sourcing?

Most people think hitting their "number" means they’ve won the game.

They are wrong.

There is a silent assassin in retirement planning that destroys more legacies than taxes or inflation combined. It’s called Sequence of Returns Risk.

Here is the terrifying math: You can have a $2M portfolio, earn an "average" 6% return, and still run out of money in 15 years.

Why? Because "average" returns are a lie. The market doesn't care how much you have; it cares when you withdraw it.

I just went deep on the "Retirement Red Zone"—the critical 5-year window that statistically determines if you fly first class or outlive your money.

This breakdown exposes why the "4% Rule" is mathematically dead and details the exact "Bond Tent" strategy smart money uses to survive a crash.

This isn’t about getting rich. It’s about ensuring you stay rich.

Musk Merges SpaceX and xAI

Elon Musk merged SpaceX and his AI startup xAI into a single company valued at $1.25 trillion ahead of SpaceX’s planned IPO.

SpaceX, valued at $800 billion, invested $2 billion in xAI, which raised $20 billion in January 2026 and was valued at $230 billion. The merger involves a share exchange, pricing combined company shares around $527 each.

SpaceX operates reusable rockets, spacecraft, and Starlink satellites; xAI develops large language models and the Grok chatbot on the X platform.

Musk plans to power AI data centers from space using solar energy and up to one million satellites, pending regulatory approval. Starship rocket faces ongoing development challenges.

Is Elon Musk’s vision of powering AI data centers from space using solar energy realistic and practical?

Crypto in Crisis

Bitcoin fell 13% in 30 days to a weekend low of $74,500, marking its fourth consecutive monthly drop, the longest since 2018.

President Trump’s tariff threats against key countries triggered $2.2 billion in leveraged crypto liquidations and a Crypto Fear & Greed Index of 14. Gold and silver also plunged sharply.

Technical indicators show a strong downward trend with a potential short-term bounce. Crypto funds lost $1.7 billion last week, mostly in U.S. outflows. BitMine bought 41,788 ETH amid declining prices.

MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin holdings fell below cost; it owns 713,502 BTC with $8 billion debt maturing in 2028+. Geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty drive the sell-off, with Bitcoin down 40% from its October 2025 peak.

Given the recent decline, is Bitcoin currently a risky asset to hold or an opportunity to buy at a discount?

Babies’ Brains

Researchers used fMRI to scan 130 awake infants, aged two months, while they viewed 12 familiar objects.

The scans showed infants’ brains differentiate and categorize visual input earlier than previously thought. Using artificial intelligence, the study revealed core visual cognition skills emerge almost at birth.

This is the largest fMRI study on awake infants to date, with sessions lasting 15 to 20 minutes. Findings provide new methods to study early brain development and could aid earlier diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders.

The results also have implications for improving infant education and advancing AI by modeling rapid learning processes observed in babies.

Does the discovery that infants categorize visual information this early suggest they have higher cognitive abilities than previously thought?

Speed Up Jet Lag Recovery

Scientists developed Mic-628, an oral drug that speeds up jet lag recovery by activating the Period1 (Per1) gene via the CRY1 protein, which normally suppresses Per1.

Unlike melatonin or light therapy, Mic-628 works regardless of dosing time. In mouse trials, it reduced jet lag recovery from seven to four days, cutting recovery time by about 43%.

The drug shifts circadian rhythms forward, potentially aiding those with jet lag or night shift adjustments. Further animal and human trials are planned to assess safety and effectiveness.

This could lead to a new drug class targeting circadian rhythm disorders, improving sleep and alertness for millions.

If proven safe, would you personally take a drug like Mic-628 to recover from jet lag faster?
