Cuban Coast Guard Incident
A US-registered speedboat (FL7726SH) entered Cuban waters near Cayo Falcones. Cuban Coast Guard approached for identification; the boat’s crew opened fire, wounding a Cuban commander.
Cuban forces returned fire, killing four passengers and injuring six. Nationalities of those aboard remain unknown. The US is investigating and not relying solely on Cuban reports.
The incident occurs amid rising US-Cuba tensions following tightened US embargo and blocked Venezuelan oil shipments to Cuba. Florida officials called for investigations into potential US casualties.
The Cuban Interior Ministry reaffirmed defending sovereignty. The event escalates regional security risks amid ongoing strained US-Cuba relations.

You think the 4% rule is going to save you. It won’t.
If the market tanks 20% in your first two years, your money goes to zero. Period. It doesn't matter if stocks bounce back a decade later. You’re already wiped out.
It’s called "dollar-cost ravaging," and it's the silent killer of million-dollar portfolios.
But the smartest investors don't stress. They don't panic sell.
They use a mechanical framework to bulletproof their cash flow.
We call it The Bear Market Protocol.
It’s a ruthless, 3-bucket system that physically prevents you from ever selling stocks at a loss.
We just dropped a massive deep dive breaking down the exact blueprint.
How to size your liquidity moat. Where to stash the assets. The precise trigger rules for a market meltdown.
You can read it now and build your Income Shield, or you can keep trusting "average returns" and pray you don't retire straight into a crash.
The choice is yours. But don't be the guy bagging groceries at 75.
Get the protocol right here, right now.
Nvidia Q4 Results
NVIDIA reported Q4 fiscal 2026 revenue of $68.1 billion, up 73% year-over-year, with full-year revenue at $215.9 billion (+65%). Data Center sales reached $62.3 billion in Q4 (+75% Y/Y).
Net income nearly doubled to $43 billion in Q4, with EPS at $1.76 (+98% Y/Y). Free cash flow hit $34.9 billion (+125%). The company unveiled the “Vera Rubin” AI chip platform, promising 10x lower inference costs, and acquired AI chipmaker Groq for $20 billion.
Partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, Meta, and Anthropic expanded. Limited AI chip sales to China began but yield minimal revenue.
Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue is projected near $78 billion with 75% gross margin. NVIDIA returned $41.1 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2026.

Missing Epstein Files
The DOJ is investigating missing Jeffrey Epstein-related documents, including over 90 FBI interview records absent from the public site, some tied to allegations against President Trump.
California Rep. Robert Garcia identified these gaps while reviewing unredacted files. The missing records involve a woman accusing both Epstein and Trump of abuse.
Following the January 30, 2026 release of millions of Epstein documents, the DOJ pledged to review and republish any withheld files. The White House denied the allegations against Trump.
Lawmakers from both parties demand greater DOJ transparency and accountability. Legal advocates criticize previous FBI and DOJ mishandling, emphasizing ongoing concerns about victims’ access and justice in the case.

Pentagon vs. Anthropic
The Pentagon gave Anthropic a February 27 deadline to remove usage restrictions on its AI model Claude or risk losing all government contracts.
Anthropic, valued at $380 billion after raising $30 billion, resists allowing Claude for autonomous weapons and domestic surveillance, citing ethical concerns. Claude is the only AI deployed on classified military networks and was used in the January 2026 Maduro raid.
The Pentagon warned contractors Boeing and Lockheed Martin about Anthropic as a “supply chain risk” and may invoke the Defense Production Act to force compliance.
Rival firms like Elon Musk’s xAI have agreed to unrestricted military AI use. The standoff will shape future military-AI relations and ethics.

Anti-Aging Compound Cancer Risk
Polyamines like spermidine support healthy aging by activating eIF5A1, which promotes autophagy and mitochondrial function. However, in cancer cells, polyamines increase eIF5A2 and ribosomal proteins, boosting glycolysis and cell proliferation.
Normally, eIF5A2 is suppressed by miR-6514-5p, but polyamines block this suppression, shifting protein expression toward tumor growth. This dual role explains polyamines’ contrasting effects: eIF5A1 aids healthy cells, while eIF5A2 drives cancer.
Targeting eIF5A2 and related ribosomal proteins offers new cancer treatment avenues. Caution is advised regarding polyamine supplements, as they might stimulate cancer under specific conditions.

Pomegranate Fights Amyloid Clumps
Researchers identified 1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-β-D-glucose (PGG), a compound from pomegranate leaves and branches, that breaks down transthyretin (TTR) amyloid fibrils causing nerve and heart damage in TTR amyloidosis.
PGG dismantled fibrils formed by both mutated and normal TTR without affecting amyloid-β fibrils linked to Alzheimer’s. In nematode models producing human TTR fragments, PGG reduced deposits and extended lifespan.
It also dissolved amyloid fibrils extracted from a patient’s heart. Structural analysis showed PGG’s multiple galloyl groups on a glucose core are key to its activity.
PGG could offer a therapy that removes existing amyloid clumps, addressing a gap current treatments do not fill.
