Good morning news friend! Discover today’s defining stories and the future they set in motion. 📰🌟

I just saw a threat model that scared the hell out of me. It’s not a market crash. It’s what this report calls the Cognitive Tax Spiral.

Here’s the deal: You spend 40 years optimizing your wealth. But the IRS built a trap waiting for you at age 73. They call it the "Complexity Gap".

Right when your cognitive processing speed naturally slows down, the government forces you into a labyrinth of RMDs, IRMAA cliffs, and "tax torpedoes". The system relies on your inertia to trigger penalties.

The scary part? Smart people fail first. Research shows your confidence stays high even as your financial literacy drops. You won’t even know you’re bleeding money until the penalties hit.

If you don't have a "Sovereign System" in place before the fog sets in, you are volunteering for a wealth transfer to Uncle Sam.

This is about not getting robbed by your own aging brain.

Read the deep dive. Build the autopilot. Do it while you’re still sharp enough to care.

Greenland Deal?

President Trump announced a U.S.-NATO "framework" deal on Greenland and the Arctic, halting planned tariffs on goods from eight European countries set to start February 1. T

he tariffs, tied to European support for U.S. interests in Greenland, were to rise from 10% to 25%. Negotiations, led by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, aim to prevent Russian and Chinese influence in Greenland.

Denmark’s sovereignty over Greenland remains unaddressed, sparking criticism from Danish and Greenlandic officials. Trump ruled out military action to acquire Greenland.

The announcement boosted the S&P 500 by 1.16%, easing tensions with European allies. Future talks will focus on Arctic security and strategic resources.

Supreme Court on Cook

The Supreme Court heard arguments on Trump’s attempt to fire Fed Governor Lisa Cook over mortgage fraud allegations she denies.

Cook, appointed in 2022, has a term until 2038. A lower court blocked her removal without due process, ruling it violated the Fifth Amendment.

Justices questioned the administration’s refusal to allow Cook a formal response and expressed concerns about damaging Fed independence.

The Federal Reserve Act allows removal “for cause” but lacks a clear definition. The Court’s upcoming ruling could redefine presidential power over the Fed and affect U.S. monetary policy. Cook remains on the board pending the decision.

How do you feel about the Supreme Court's perspectives regarding the firing of Lisa Cook?

I love longevity hacks, but this one actually kept me up at night.

Most guys worry about heart attacks or cholesterol. But there is a "Silent Assassin" lurking in your body right now that kills 30% of its victims within 12 months of striking.

It’s a hip fracture.

If you enter a hospital with a broken hip today, there is a 1-in-4 chance you won't be alive next year. For men? The odds are even worse.

I just went deep down the rabbit hole on the Bone Density Blueprint. It turns out, your skeleton isn't just a rock—it's a bank account. And if you are over 45, you are losing "money" every single day.

The scariest part? 50% of people who suffer a fracture don't even have osteoporosis. They are in the "gray zone" that most doctors ignore until it's too late.

We spent 50 hours breaking down the science of skeletal armor.

The "Calcium Paradox" that calcifies your arteries instead of your bones.

Why walking is useless for density (and what you need to do instead).

The "Protein Scaffold" you are neglecting.

Don’t become a statistic.

Tokenize Treasury ETF

F/m Investments, managing $18 billion, filed with the SEC to tokenize shares of its $6.3 billion U.S. Treasury 3 Month Bill ETF (TBIL), seeking to record ownership on a permissioned blockchain.

Tokenized shares would maintain the same CUSIP, rights, fees, and regulations under the Investment Company Act of 1940, preserving investor protections like board oversight and audits.

This is the first SEC request targeting tokenized registered investment company shares. F/m differentiates this from stablecoins by staying within federal securities law. The move aligns with industry blockchain adoption, including NYSE plans for tokenized equity trading.

Approval would enable seamless transfer between traditional and token-aware platforms.

Do you think tokenizing ETFs under existing securities laws offers a better balance of innovation and investor protection than creating new, separate regulatory categories?

Apple’s AI Gamble

Apple will overhaul Siri in 2026, launching a chatbot called Campos powered by Google Gemini AI, deeply integrated into iPhone, iPad, and Mac OS.

Campos will support voice and text, web search, content creation, image generation, file analysis, and personal data use across apps like Mail, Music, and Photos. It runs on Apple Foundation Models v11, developed with Google, possibly hosted on Google servers to utilize TPUs.

A non-chatbot Siri upgrade using Google AI arrives in early 2026. Apple spends about $1 billion yearly for Google AI access. The move follows Siri’s underperformance and leadership changes. Apple also tests AI chatbots for China and aims to launch an AI wearable pin by 2027.

Will deeply integrating AI into personal data (like calendar, messages, and photos) improve user experience or raise privacy concerns?

Tendon Pain

Researchers identified the protein HIF1 as the cause of common tendon injuries like Achilles pain and tennis elbow.

HIF1 controls genes in tendon cells, and its constant activation leads to tendon disease even without heavy strain. In mice, turning off HIF1 prevented tendon damage under stress. In human cells, high HIF1 increased collagen crosslinking, weakening tendons and causing abnormal blood vessel and nerve growth, explaining pain.

Tendinopathies often require surgery when advanced. Damage from HIF1 accumulates over time, emphasizing early treatment.

Targeting HIF1 could lead to new therapies. This discovery has potential to improve treatment for millions suffering from tendon injuries worldwide.

Do you believe tendon injuries are primarily caused by mechanical strain or molecular changes inside the tendon cells?

Aging Gut Health Recovery

Cold Spring Harbor researchers developed a CAR T-cell immune therapy that removes senescent cells in aging intestines, restoring gut health for at least one year.

Senescent cells accumulate with age and damage, slowing intestinal lining renewal and causing inflammation and leaky gut. In tests on mice, the therapy improved nutrient absorption, reduced inflammation, and accelerated intestinal repair.

Mice exposed to radiation mimicking cancer treatment recovered better with one therapy dose, maintaining gut health for 12 months. The treatment also promoted regeneration in human intestinal and colorectal cells.

While mechanisms remain under study, this therapy shows promise for treating age- and cancer therapy-related intestinal decline in future clinical trials.

How comfortable would you feel using immune therapies that modify your body’s cells to address aging-related conditions?
