Iran Talks 2.0
President Trump announced U.S. negotiators will meet Iran in Pakistan for a second round of talks, warning of strikes destroying Iran’s bridges and power plants if no deal is reached.
Iran hasn’t confirmed attendance and its navy fired on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which it declared closed in response to the U.S. naval blockade. The Strait handles about 20% of global oil and LNG shipments.
Iran’s parliamentary speaker said fighting will resume if talks fail. U.S. plans include seizing Iran-linked tankers fueling its economy. Hezbollah killed a French soldier in Lebanon.
Iran’s leadership is divided between moderates favoring compromise and hard-line Revolutionary Guard forces opposing easing tensions.

Louisiana Massacre
A mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, killed eight children aged 1 to 14 and wounded two adults.
The suspect acted alone, firing across three locations: two homes on West 79th Street and one on Harrison Street. Some victims were related to the shooter. After fleeing in a stolen car, the suspect was killed by police during a chase in Bossier Parish.
No officers were injured. Authorities continue investigating and have requested public assistance with information and media.
Shreveport officials described the incident as unprecedented and one of the worst tragedies in the city’s history.
Wealth Tax Wave
Several U.S. states are increasing taxes on millionaires to boost revenue. Maine added a 2% surcharge on income over $1 million, raising the top rate to 9.15% and expecting $150 million over two years.
Washington charges 9.9% on million-dollar incomes, Massachusetts approved a 4% surtax raising nearly $3 billion in 2025, and California plans a one-time 5% tax on billionaires’ net worth over $1 billion.
Revenues fund healthcare, education, housing, and tax relief amid federal cuts. Critics worry about driving away wealthy residents and harming small businesses.
Public support is strong, with 61% saying the rich don’t pay their fair share and 67% backing billionaire taxes.

Your prescription is about to become illegal.
Big Pharma faces a $200 billion "patent cliff" by 2030. They are losing their monopolies on 70 blockbuster drugs, so they are using the FDA to wipe out the competition.
They call it the "Apothecary Purge." It is a quiet, systematic shutdown of the compounding pharmacies that make custom, affordable medicines.
They are targeting the custom thyroid meds that actually give you energy. The bioidentical hormones that help you sleep through the night. The $200 weight-loss peptides they want to force you to buy for $1,000.
Millions of Americans will soon walk into their clinic and get handed a denial slip. By the time this hits the evening news, it will be too late to secure your supply.
We spent weeks investigating this crackdown. We uncovered exactly what the FDA is targeting next.
More importantly, we built the "Prescription Fortress Protocol"—a step-by-step guide to legally stockpiling a 12-month supply of your medications before the gate slams shut.
Read the deep dive now. Your health shouldn't depend on a corporate lobbyist.
Robot Racers
A humanoid robot named Shandian won the 2026 Beijing half marathon in 50:26, beating Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo’s 2025 human record of 57:20.
Another robot, Lightning, finished faster at 48:19 but was not declared the winner due to scoring rules. The top male human finished in 1:07:47, over 15 minutes slower than the leading robot.
Over 12,000 humans and robots from 100+ engineering teams participated, with 40% of robots fully autonomous. The course featured varied terrain, testing endurance, autonomy, balance, and algorithms.
Robot completion times improved by over two hours from 2025. The event aims to accelerate robotics innovation in real-world environments and showcase China’s strategic robotics advances.
Do you think the rapid improvement in robotic endurance events signals a future where robots will replace humans in most physical challenges?Click to see live results and comment! |

Brain Age Reversed
Texas A&M researchers developed a nasal spray using extracellular vesicles with microRNAs to reverse brain aging by reducing neuroinflammaging.
After two doses, treated subjects showed less brain inflammation, improved mitochondrial energy, and enhanced memory within weeks, lasting months. The therapy works by suppressing inflammatory pathways (NLRP3, cGAS–STING) and restoring cellular energy.
It delivers particles directly to the brain via nasal passage, avoiding invasive methods. Effects were observed equally in males and females, enhancing recognition and awareness.
With U.S. dementia cases projected to double by 2060, this approach offers a potentially safer, simpler alternative to current treatments. Researchers have filed a patent and aim for clinical application.

Senses Entwined
Up to 4% of people have synaesthesia, a condition where one sense triggers another, such as hearing sounds and seeing colors.
It remains stable throughout life and is not considered a disorder or impairment. Synaesthetes may have extra brain connections or stronger activity in existing pathways, causing sensory blending.
About 24% work in creative fields, compared to less than 2% of the general population, suggesting a link between synaesthesia and creativity.
This condition highlights the brain’s diverse integration of senses and reveals the varied nature of human perception.
