Nvidia Soothes Wall St

Nvidia reported $57 billion in Q3 fiscal 2026 revenue, up 62% year-over-year, with data center sales at $51.2 billion (+66% YoY). Q4 revenue is forecasted at $65 billion, exceeding analyst estimates.

Net income reached $31.9 billion (+65% YoY), with EPS of $1.30 (+67%). CEO Jensen Huang cited strong demand for Blackwell-generation AI chips, with $500 billion in AI chip bookings projected through 2026 and cloud GPUs sold out. Nvidia is collaborating with OpenAI, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Intel, Uber, and Nokia on AI infrastructure and applications.

Trump Signs Epstein Bill

President Trump signed a law requiring the Justice Department to release Jeffrey Epstein files within 30 days, confirmed by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Congress passed the bill nearly unanimously allowing withholding of victim identities and sensitive investigation material. The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Epstein’s financial records from JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank to probe his dealings. Ukraine Peace Plan

President Trump approved a 28-point peace plan requiring Ukraine to cede additional territory in eastern Ukraine, including Donbas (where Ukraine currently controls 14.5%), granting Russia full control.

CDC Revises Autism-Vaccine Guidance

The CDC revised its website, stating the claim that vaccines do not cause autism is “not an evidence-based claim,” acknowledging studies have not ruled out a potential vaccine-autism link.

This change follows pressure from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Donald Trump, who advocate vaccine-autism connections without scientific proof. The page still includes “Vaccines do not cause autism” due to a Senate agreement. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will assess autism causes and potential vaccine links.

Glow-in-the-Gut Pill

Researchers developed non-invasive pills containing glowing bacteria that detect gut bleeding by emitting light when exposed to heme, a blood component. The pills hold hydrogel spheres with bacteria and magnetic particles, allowing retrieval from stool using a magnet.

In mouse colitis models, light intensity correlated with disease severity, with no adverse effects observed. The entire process takes about 25 minutes after excretion. This method offers a fast, comfortable alternative to colonoscopies for detecting intestinal bleeding linked to colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases.

Human trials are planned to confirm efficacy. The technology may extend to diagnosing other gut diseases and monitoring treatment.

Coffee’s Secret Benefits

A clinical trial with 200 atrial fibrillation (A-Fib) patients found that drinking one cup of caffeinated coffee daily reduced recurrent A-Fib episodes by 39% over six months.

A-Fib affects over 10 million U.S. adults and raises stroke and heart failure risk. The study suggests coffee’s benefits stem from increased physical activity, diuretic effects lowering blood pressure, and anti-inflammatory compounds.

Results challenge previous advice to avoid caffeine in A-Fib and may influence patient counseling. Coffee drinkers might also replace unhealthy beverages, contributing to lower risk. Supported by the U.S. NIH, this is the first randomized trial examining caffeine’s impact on A-Fib.
