Pentagon Push

The Trump administration is urging automakers like GM and Ford to boost weapons production, echoing WWII efforts. The Pentagon, pressured by conflicts in Ukraine and Iran, aims to expand missiles, tactical hardware, and counter-drone output.

Stephen Feinberg, deputy defense secretary, leads a $1.5 trillion defense budget push—$441 billion above last year—targeting rapid weapons development and naval expansion.

Feinberg enforces strict contractor oversight, securing commitments from Lockheed, Raytheon, and L3Harris to multiply missile production. He created "Deal Team 6" to negotiate contracts and holds equity stakes in defense firms.

The Pentagon also invested in rare-earth producer MP Materials to reduce dependence on China. The plan emphasizes faster, cost-effective weapons manufacturing amid global conflicts.

Should the U.S. government increase defense spending to nearly $1.5 trillion during ongoing international conflicts?

AI Chat Risk

A federal judge ruled AI-generated documents lack attorney-client privilege, ordering 31 files created with Anthropic’s Claude chatbot in a fraud case to be handed over to prosecutors.

This sets a precedent that conversations with consumer AI chatbots like ChatGPT are discoverable in court. Over a dozen law firms warn against sharing sensitive information on public AI platforms.

Lawyers recommend using enterprise AI systems with confidentiality contracts and stronger data controls, though courts have yet to fully validate such protections.

Firms are updating client agreements to address AI risks. Experts advise using secure AI tools, updating policies, and applying encryption and audits to reduce legal exposure.

Should conversations with consumer AI chatbots ever be considered protected under attorney-client privilege?

Ticketmaster Monopoly Unmasked

A New York federal jury found Live Nation and Ticketmaster illegally monopolized the U.S. live events market, overcharging fans $1.72 per ticket at 257 venues in 22 states.

Ticketmaster controls 86% of major concert ticket sales, while Live Nation’s defense claimed 44%. The ruling could lead to breaking up the companies or divesting venues, with damages potentially tripled under law.

The Justice Department settled earlier, requiring divestitures and fee caps. Internal messages showed Live Nation staff acknowledged overcharging fans.

Live Nation denies being a monopoly and plans to appeal. The verdict may increase competition and lower prices in the $30 billion U.S. live entertainment industry.

Do you believe Live Nation’s dominance in the ticketing market harms consumers more than it benefits them?

You spend 40 years building wealth for your kids.

Then a judge hands half of it to an ex-in-law you can't stand.

It happens every single day. It’s called the "Wealth Hijack."

Most people think they are safe. They have a will. They have a revocable trust. They even made their kid sign a prenup.

Spoiler alert: Divorce lawyers eat standard prenups for breakfast. One wrong bank deposit, and your family's money is legally theirs.

Right now, $124 trillion is changing hands in the Great Wealth Transfer. Family lawyers know this. They aren't just fighting over a couple’s joint checking account anymore. They are actively targeting your legacy.

But the ultra-wealthy don't lose their money in divorce court. Why?

They don't use standard trusts. They use a "Bloodline Fortress" featuring a "Floating Spouse Provision."

The exact second an in-law files for divorce, a legal trapdoor opens. They get absolutely nothing.

I just published a deep dive on exactly how this legal siphon works—and the exact script you need to give your lawyer to stop it.

Read the deep dive here before your kid’s next anniversary.

Musk’s Terafab Project

Elon Musk has launched Terafab, a $20–25 billion AI chip manufacturing facility on Tesla’s Austin campus, targeting production start by 2029.

The project engages key suppliers including Applied Materials, Tokyo Electron, Lam Research, and Samsung for equipment such as photomasks, etchers, and testers. Intel joins to provide chip design, fabrication, and packaging expertise.

Terafab aims to produce around 1 terawatt of AI compute annually, supporting Musk’s AI, robotics, and data center ventures.

The initiative represents a major expansion into semiconductor manufacturing, focusing on next-generation AI and advanced computing chips, with an emphasis on rapid supplier engagement and scaling US chip production amid global competition.

Is producing around 1 terawatt of AI compute annually a meaningful benchmark for measuring the project's impact?

Arthritis Delayed Years

A study tracked 213 high-risk patients for 4 to 8 years, showing that 12 months of abatacept delayed rheumatoid arthritis (RA) onset by up to four years after treatment stopped.

RA affects 500,000 people in the UK, causing joint pain, swelling, and disability. Abatacept reduced symptoms during treatment but effects faded after cessation, suggesting ongoing therapy may be needed.

Highest-risk patients, identified by autoantibodies, experienced the greatest delay. The drug showed no more serious side effects than placebo.

No current therapies prevent RA before symptoms, making abatacept’s ability to postpone disease development a promising step for autoimmune disease prevention research.

Salty Water Risk

Rising sea levels increase saltwater intrusion into freshwater, raising blood pressure worldwide. A study of 74,000+ people from 27 studies found drinking saltier water raises systolic pressure by 3.22 mmHg and diastolic by 2.82 mmHg.

Saltwater exposure increases hypertension risk by 26%, especially in coastal areas with over 3 billion people. This blood pressure impact is comparable to that of low physical activity.

Hypertension affects over 1 billion globally, causing heart disease and stroke. The World Health Organization has no sodium limits for drinking water.

Salt in drinking water adds unnoticed sodium intake alongside food, suggesting local water quality monitoring and sodium management may reduce hypertension risk.

Do you believe that drinking water salinity should be regulated as strictly as the sodium content in foods?
