Strait Showdown

Iran is restricting Strait of Hormuz traffic to about a dozen ships daily, down from over 100 before the war, controlling passage via the IRGC and charging tolls up to $2 million per tanker.

The Strait handles 20 million barrels daily, about 20% of global seaborne oil. Iran demands U.S. recognition of its uranium enrichment rights and control over transit.

Despite a fragile cease-fire, Iran retains underground missiles, small boats, and nuclear infrastructure.

Oil prices surged past $97 per barrel. U.S. warns of possible escalation if Iran disrupts shipping further.

Do you think the ceasefire will break even before the two week timeline?

NATO Fallout

The Trump administration plans to relocate U.S. troops from NATO countries opposing U.S. actions in the Iran war to nations like Poland, Romania, Lithuania, and Greece, which supported the war and spend more on defense.

Spain and Germany may lose troops, with possible base closures, due to restrictions on U.S. military use and political opposition.

This troop shift would increase U.S. forces near Russia’s border, raising tensions. The plan contrasts with Trump’s earlier threats to leave NATO and follows past troop withdrawals and diplomatic disputes.

European leaders cite lack of consultation before the war. The policy underscores growing U.S.-Europe rifts amid geopolitical conflicts.

Should the U.S. relocate troops away from NATO countries that did not support its recent military actions?

Bondi Defies Subpoena

Former Attorney General Pam Bondi will not appear for a House Oversight Committee deposition on April 14 regarding her handling of Jeffrey Epstein files.

Bondi, removed by President Trump on April 2, was subpoenaed personally, not just as AG. The bipartisan subpoena followed criticism of the Justice Department’s delayed and flawed release of Epstein-related documents.

Democrats accuse Bondi of evading legal duty; Rep. Robert Garcia threatened contempt of Congress. Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican, insists Bondi must testify. Epstein survivors demand accountability.

The committee considers contempt proceedings and will contact Bondi’s lawyer. The probe follows months of bipartisan frustration over Epstein file management. Bondi previously testified in February.

Most people get Alzheimer’s completely wrong.

They think it’s just bad luck in old age. You turn 75, and suddenly you can't remember a name.

False.

The physical damage actually starts 15 to 20 years before the first symptom. We call it the "20-Year Window."

Here is the crazy part: While you feel totally fine right now, your brain might be quietly starving. It’s an energy crisis. Insulin resistance. Silent micro-strokes.

And your standard annual physical? It completely misses it. Your doctor tells you everything is "normal for your age" while the clock ticks down.

We just published a massive deep dive on the real mechanics of cognitive decline.

Inside, we break down why researchers are calling Alzheimer’s "Type 3 Diabetes," why Big Pharma's drugs have a 99% failure rate, and the exact "Metabolic Brain Audit" you need to demand from your doctor.

Look, you have a 20-year runway. But every year you ignore the data, the window closes a little more.

Don't be the person who waits until it's too late.

Disney Disrupted

Disney plans up to 1,000 layoffs focused on marketing, part of over 8,000 cuts since 2023 saving $7.5 billion. Total headcount stands at 231,000, with growth in theme parks and cruise lines.

CEO Josh D’Amaro faces setbacks as a $1 billion OpenAI AI project was canceled and a $1.5 billion Epic Games investment is at risk after 1,000 Epic layoffs, jeopardizing Disney’s tech and gaming ambitions.

Disney+ and Hulu will merge into one streaming app to boost efficiency. Shares are down nearly 50% since 2021, trading near decade-old levels.

Disney’s challenge: balance cost cuts with rebuilding its tech-driven future under D’Amaro’s vision.

What is you current perception of Disney as a company?

Heart Boost Combo

A study tested daily consumption of one avocado and one cup of mango for eight weeks in adults with prediabetes, comparing it to a calorie-matched control diet without these fruits.

The avocado-mango group showed a 6.7% increase in flow-mediated dilation (FMD), indicating improved blood vessel function, while the control group's FMD declined. Men in the fruit group experienced a 1.9 mmHg drop in diastolic blood pressure, versus a 5 mmHg increase in controls.

Participants’ calorie intake and weight stayed stable. The diet raised fiber, vitamin C, and monounsaturated fat intake but did not affect cholesterol, blood sugar, or inflammation markers.

The findings suggest simple fruit additions may aid heart health in prediabetic adults.

Do you believe that adding one avocado and one cup of mango daily could meaningfully improve heart health for people with prediabetes?

ReNU2 Syndrome

Researchers have identified ReNU2 syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder caused by recessive mutations in the non-coding RNU2-2 gene.

Studying 110,009 genomes, they found ReNU2 accounts for about 10% of recessive genetic neurodevelopmental cases, affecting thousands in the UK. Symptoms include developmental delays, speech impairment, low muscle tone, learning difficulties, autism-like traits, epilepsy, and respiratory issues, varying by patient.

The disorder remained undetected due to mutations in rarely studied non-coding regions. ReNU2 mutations are over three times more common than other recessive mutations causing severe neurodevelopmental disorders.

Findings were confirmed with blood tests. While no treatment exists, insight into U2-2 RNA loss may lead to future gene therapies despite delivery challenges.

Given the complexity of brain delivery, do you think gene replacement therapy for neurodevelopmental disorders is likely to be successful in the near future?
