Elon Musk’s $1 Trillion Pay Package

Tesla shareholders approved Elon Musk’s $1 trillion pay package tied to 12 milestones over the next decade. Targets include growing Tesla’s market cap from $1.5 trillion to $8.5 trillion, selling 20 million vehicles, operating 1 million robotaxis, selling 1 million humanoid robots, and reaching $400 billion in adjusted EBITDA.

Musk can earn up to 12% of Tesla’s stock, increasing his ownership from 15% to 25%. Some investors, including Norway’s sovereign wealth fund and CalPERS, opposed the plan, calling the valuation “astronomical,” while others like Charles Schwab supported it.

The package aligns Musk’s compensation with Tesla’s shift toward AI and robotics and replaces his 2018 award now entangled in legal disputes.

Do you believe Elon Musk’s $1 trillion pay package fairly reflects the risks and rewards of Tesla's ambitious growth targets?

Trump Ordered to Fully Fund SNAP

Judge John McConnell ordered the Trump administration to fully fund SNAP this November, rejecting plans to halt aid during the longest U.S. government shutdown. SNAP supports over 42 million Americans, including 16 million children at risk of hunger.

The administration initially planned to distribute only 65% of benefits, but the court mandated full funding of $8.5–9 billion using emergency USDA funds. The USDA acknowledged errors in partial payment calculations. The Justice Department plans to appeal.

Local governments, nonprofits, and about two dozen states support full funding amid increased food bank demand. Vice President JD Vance criticized the ruling; President Trump blamed Democrats and questioned SNAP recipients’ work ethic.

Should federal judges have the authority to require the government to fund aid programs during a shutdown?

Blackstone Offloads Senior Housing at Steep Loss

Blackstone sold its 171-unit senior housing facility, Sterling Aventura in South Florida, for $12 million—75% below its 2017 purchase price of $48.9 million.

The sale included both real estate and operations, bought by BH Group and Gold Standard of Care with financing from New Wave Loans. This disposal is part of Blackstone’s broader exit from senior housing, where it acquired four properties for $155 million and booked over $600 million in losses.

The move reflects declining valuations and pressure in the senior housing market. Buyers like BH Group are acquiring assets at steep discounts amid a challenging investment environment.

Are private equity firms like Blackstone well-suited to manage senior housing investments?

China’s Export Slump

China’s exports fell 1.1% in October 2025, led by a 25% drop in shipments to the U.S., marking the seventh consecutive month of double-digit declines. Despite gains in Southeast Asia (+8.9%) and the EU (+0.9%), overall export growth slowed.

Imports rose just 1%, down from 7.4% in September, hurt by weak consumer demand and a housing slump. China’s trade surplus narrowed to $90.07 billion in October, below forecasts. Shipments to the U.S. declined 17.8% year-to-date but overall exports grew 5.3% in 2025, boosted by markets like Africa (+26.1%).

Manufacturing contracted for seven months. GDP growth is forecast at 4.5% in 2026, with exports expected to rebound 5–6% annually.

What is the primary driver behind the steep decline in China’s exports to the U.S.?

Most market "news" is just noise.

But what the people inside the company do with their own cash? That's the real story.

We don't just look at trades. We find the breaks in pattern.

And this week, the data is telling us a few things: A $36.9M "spike sale" from a big-name tech CEO. A $3.9M first-time sale from another C-suite exec. A CFO who just made a $500k "conviction buy." A CEO who was selling millions... and suddenly stopped.

These are the signals that often come before a big move. The full report is inside. See what they know.

Nail Fungal Infections

Nail fungal infections affect up to 10% of people, rising to 50% in those over 70. Current treatments are slow, with oral antifungals taking months and topical options showing low cure rates (15–18%).

Researchers tested hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) gas, delivered via sodium hydrogen sulfide, finding it 50 to 1000 times more effective than liquids. A 3–6 hour exposure halted fungal growth, including drug-resistant strains like terbinafine-resistant Trichophyton indotinea, and killed MRSA bacteria.

H₂S blocks fungal energy production by inhibiting cytochrome c oxidase, causing irreversible damage. Its small molecular size enables better nail penetration. Lab-stage results suggest potential for faster, safer topical treatments within five years, pending further trials.

Do you or someone you care for have experience with nail fungal infections?

Reprogram Stomach Cells to Produce Insulin

Scientists reprogrammed human stomach cells to produce insulin by inserting genes NEUROG3, PDX1, and MAFA into stomach organoids. When implanted in diabetic mice, these cells survived six months and lowered blood sugar for at least six weeks.

The cells expressed beta-cell markers and released human insulin into mouse blood. This is the first demonstration of reprogramming human stomach cells into insulin-secreting cells in vivo, suggesting a potential alternative to pancreatic transplants and reducing immune rejection risk.

However, the cells did not form organized islet structures, the study used one stem cell line, and long-term safety and efficacy require further testing.

Would you personally opt for a treatment involving your stomach cells being reprogrammed to produce insulin?
