Trump’s War Pitch
President Trump said the U.S. has nearly achieved military objectives in the month-long Iran war, destroying Iran's navy, air force, and missile programs, and striking 12,300 targets.
Iran’s regime remains, now led by harder-line figures after killing Supreme Leader Khamenei. The Strait of Hormuz is mostly closed, causing a 60% jump in oil prices and U.S. gas over $4 per gallon. Thirteen U.S. troops have died, 350 wounded.
Trump’s approval rating hit 36%. He has threatened to withdraw from NATO over allies’ refusal to support the campaign or help reopen the strait, straining the alliance. European nations criticize U.S. strategy and oppose deeper involvement.

Citizenship Battle
The Supreme Court is reviewing President Trump’s 2025 executive order to end automatic U.S. citizenship for children born to undocumented or temporary-resident parents, affecting about 250,000 births annually.
Lower courts blocked it, citing the 14th Amendment's Citizenship Clause. The administration argues “subject to the jurisdiction” excludes these children, relying on the 1898 Wong Kim Ark ruling, which involved permanent residents.
The Court, with a 6-3 conservative majority, heard arguments with some justices expressing doubts about changing longstanding birthright citizenship.
A ruling is expected by June 2026. The decision could redefine citizenship laws for the first time in over a century, impacting millions of families.

Moonshot Momentum
NASA launched Artemis II sending four astronauts on a 10-day lunar flyby, the first crewed mission beyond Earth orbit in over 50 years.
The crew includes Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian Jeremy Hansen. The 322-foot SLS rocket carried the Orion capsule, traveling 252,000 miles—surpassing Apollo 13's record.
Orion passed within 4,112 miles of the moon, and astronauts manually controlled the capsule near the rocket's upper stage. Minor issues included brief communication loss and a toilet malfunction.
The mission advances NASA’s plan for a sustainable moon base by 2028 and follows a $30 billion Artemis program budget. Koch is first woman beyond low Earth orbit; Glover, first Black lunar astronaut; Hansen, first Canadian.

Think about your last doctor’s visit. You waited weeks for the appointment. Sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. Then got exactly five rushed minutes with a doctor staring at a laptop.
You aren’t crazy. The system is rigged.
Private equity quietly bought up American medicine. They poured $104 billion into local clinics last year. Their goal? Turn your doctor into a billing machine with a strict 15-minute quota.
The terrifying part? A burned-out, rushed doctor is 2.2x more likely to make a medical error.
While most people are stuck fighting surprise out-of-network bills, a small group of insiders are quietly opting out. They use a completely legal model to get 60-minute visits, wholesale lab prices, and 24/7 direct text access to their doctor.
We just published a massive deep dive on the "Velvet Rope Illusion." We expose the financial playbook ruining your clinic, and the exact 3-question test to find a doctor who actually works for you.
Your health is your most valuable asset. Don't let a corporate landlord manage it.

Spending Surge
U.S. retail sales rose 0.6% in February 2026 to $738.4 billion, surpassing forecasts and boosting year-on-year growth to 3.7%.
Motor vehicle sales rebounded 1.2%, clothing rose 2.0%, and online retail increased 0.7%. Manufacturing expanded with the ISM PMI at 52.7, though employment contracted at 48.7.
Private payrolls added 62,000 jobs, exceeding expectations. Mortgage rates hit 6.57%, the highest since August 2025.
Geopolitical tensions raised oil prices 50%, pushing gas above $4/gallon—the highest in over three years. Rising energy costs may slow consumer spending in Q2 2026.

Killing ‘Zombie’ Cells
Scientists identified that senescent “zombie” cells rely on glycolysis supported by the interaction of proteins PGAM and Chk1.
Using the NanoBiT assay, blocking PGAM-Chk1 binding eliminated these cells in lab and mice, reducing lung fibrosis linked to aging.
This disruption lowers FoxM1 activity, which normally prevents apoptosis and aids DNA repair in senescent cells, allowing their clearance.
Targeting this metabolic vulnerability offers a potential approach for senotherapy to remove harmful senescent cells, potentially slowing aging effects and improving management of age-related diseases.

Cholesterol Reset
US cardiologists updated cholesterol guidelines in 2026, urging earlier screening, especially for those with family histories, and using PREVENT scores from August 2025 to assess cardiovascular risk, including patients with high blood pressure.
About 25% of US adults have elevated LDL cholesterol, which raises atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk. The guidelines recommend earlier medication combined with lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, weight control, sleep, and no smoking.
Lowering LDL reduces heart attack, stroke, and heart failure risks, with about 80% of cardiovascular disease preventable via early intervention.
Researchers call for improved risk assessments related to vaping, cannabis, diabetes, alcohol, and obesity. New drugs are in trials.

“When you go to tackle a piece of work, you ought to treat a simple chore as if it were a monumental undertaking, and treat a massive, back-breaking job like it's just sweeping the front porch. That way, your good sense doesn't curl up and fall asleep on the little things, and your backbone doesn't turn to jelly on the big ones.”
