Epstein Files Bill Passed

Congress passed a bill requiring the Justice Department to release unclassified Jeffrey Epstein files within 30 days, including flight logs and internal communications. The House voted 427-1, with the Senate granting unanimous consent. President Trump reversed opposition before signing.

Attorney General Pam Bondi may withhold information risking ongoing investigations or victim identities. The vote exposed GOP divisions, with Rep. Clay Higgins opposing and Marjorie Taylor Greene supporting despite Trump’s criticism. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 after serving 13 months on earlier charges. Newly surfaced documents reference Trump despite his denials.

Bipartisan leaders Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna pushed transparency, urged by survivors who called secrecy “institutional betrayal.” The files could prompt new federal inquiries.

Does the release of the Epstein files have the potential to reveal new, credible evidence against high-profile figures, including politicians?

Trump’s Saudi Welcome

President Trump welcomed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, agreeing to sell 48 F-35 jets and 300 tanks under a new Strategic Defense Agreement, shifting U.S. Middle East military policy.

The U.S. and Saudi Arabia signed a civil nuclear cooperation deal, though uranium enrichment terms remain unresolved. Saudi Arabia pledged $1 trillion in U.S. investments, up $400 billion from earlier commitments, without a timeline.

Trump defended MBS against U.S. intelligence linking him to Jamal Khashoggi’s 2018 murder and criticized an ABC reporter questioning MBS on this.

The visit reinforced U.S.-Saudi economic and military ties amid ongoing human rights concerns and debates over security and investment fulfillment.

How do you view President Trump’s defense of MBS regarding the Khashoggi murder?

Everyone used to track Nancy Pelosi’s stock trades.

She had the network, so she won.

But looking at this week's filings, there is a stronger signal emerging.

The "kids in hoodies" are out. The adults are back.

We found a defense firm that just raised $510 million. The CEO is the son of a former CIA Director. The Chairman is the former CIA Director.

Then we found a nuclear startup backed by the founders of Palantir and Anduril.

They aren't building apps. They are building infrastructure for the new world order.

We analyzed the 6 most critical filings of the week.

Meta Wins Antitrust Case

Meta won a key antitrust case as a federal judge ruled it is not a monopoly and does not need to sell Instagram or WhatsApp. The FTC failed to prove Meta holds monopoly power amid growing competition from TikTok, YouTube, and others.

Instagram’s user engagement shifted towards short videos, mirroring rivals. The court found Meta’s acquisition strategy lawful given the evolving market. Meta’s shares dipped less than 1% but remain up 2% in 2025, lagging other tech stocks.

Meta’s legal officer emphasized the ruling confirms strong competition. The FTC continues separate antitrust cases against Amazon, Google, and Apple.

Sources: Bloomberg, AP News, Reuters, CNBC, Dw.

Does the ruling that Meta is not a monopoly reflect the current reality of social media competition?

Did you know we also write in-depth deep dives? They are long, packed with insights, and have received rave reviews. If you’re up for a detailed, action-packed read, check them out:

Ukraine Resumes Long-Range Strikes

Ukraine resumed use of US-made ATACMS missiles to strike Russian military targets on November 18, 2025, after Pentagon restrictions since late spring 2025. ATACMS have a 190-mile range and are launched from US-supplied HIMARS and MLRS systems.

Biden lifted initial targeting restrictions in November 2024, enabling strikes in Bryansk and Karachev, but Trump’s administration delayed further use amid peace talks. Ukraine also employs indigenous Flamingo missiles and winged drones for deep strikes.

A senior US Pentagon delegation arrived in Kyiv on November 19 to advance stalled peace negotiations. Meanwhile, Russian missile and drone attacks on western Ukraine have increased, and US arms shipments face challenges due to global conflicts.

Do you think resuming ATACMS strikes on Russian military sites will help or hinder peace negotiations?

Blocking Pain Without Blocking Healing

Researchers identified the EP2 receptor in prostaglandins as a key mediator of pain separate from inflammation. Blocking EP2 in Schwann cells relieved pain in mice without reducing inflammation or hindering healing.

Unlike NSAIDs, which block prostaglandins broadly and can delay healing and cause side effects, targeting EP2 may offer pain relief without those risks. EP2 activates pain pathways independently of inflammation, and drugs aimed at EP2 are in pre-clinical trials.

Targeted delivery to affected areas like joints could minimize side effects. This approach could treat arthritis and other pain conditions currently managed with NSAIDs, potentially improving safety and efficacy in pain management.

If a new drug can block pain without affecting healing, would you prefer it over traditional NSAIDs?

Lab-Grown Bone Marrow

Researchers engineered the first fully human-made bone marrow model using an 8x4mm hydroxyapatite scaffold seeded with pluripotent stem cells. This 3D system replicates the endosteal niche, including blood vessels, bone cells, nerves, and immune cells, sustaining human blood cell production for weeks.

It offers a platform for drug testing and could enable personalized cancer therapies by creating patient-specific marrow models. The model aims to reduce reliance on animal testing, although its size limits high-throughput screening.

Future work targets miniaturization. Bone marrow cancers like leukemia (3,500–4,000 annual U.S. pediatric cases), multiple myeloma, and aplastic anemia could benefit from advances using this model.

Does the artificial bone scaffold made from natural minerals raise concerns about replicating full biological complexity?
