H-1B Visa Tightens

The Trump administration has implemented stricter H-1B visa screening focusing on applicants’ involvement in censorship or suppression of free speech. Consular officers must review LinkedIn profiles, resumes, and family members' employment histories.

Fields like misinformation, content moderation, online safety, and tech sectors linked to suppression are under particular scrutiny. All H-1B, H-4, F, M, and J visa applicants must make social media profiles public for vetting.

A $100,000 fee now applies to some H-1B applicants in the new visa cycle. The policy aligns with the administration’s “America First” agenda and affects crucial tech-sector visas, impacting thousands of skilled workers and their families, notably from India and China.

Should social media profiles be required to be public for all visa applicants to improve national security?

National Economic Council Leadership

President Trump’s team is considering Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to also lead the National Economic Council if current NEC director Kevin Hassett is confirmed as Federal Reserve Chair.

This would consolidate economic policy control under Bessent. Trump has hinted at Hassett’s Fed nomination, signaling a leadership shift. Meanwhile, U.S. markets showed modest gains: Dow rose 0.86% to 47,882.90, S&P 500 increased 0.30% to 6,849.72, Nasdaq edged up 0.17% to 23,454.09.

Crude oil prices also rose, with WTI at $59.37 and Brent at $63.00 per barrel. Investors monitor these moves for their impact on economic policy and Federal Reserve direction into 2026.

Is consolidating Treasury Secretary and National Economic Council leader roles beneficial or risky for U.S. economic policy?

Most people wait for the news. But by the time you see the headline, the smart money has already eaten.

Here is the reality: Washington has a "tell."

Before a big regulation drops or a massive government contract is awarded, companies start writing checks. Huge ones.

We just tracked a boring utility company that suddenly went from spending $0 to $10 million in lobbying in a single week.

Why? Because they are trying to build a moat around the EV charging market before you even know it exists.

And they aren't alone.

A quiet housing non-profit just woke up to chase the "ROAD to Housing Act," and a road sign manufacturer is already front-running the 2026 infrastructure bill.

We track the money flows so you don't have to guess.

If you want to see the trades before the rest of the market catches up, you need to see who is panicking and who is getting greedy.

Billionaire Attempts to Broker Venezuela Peace

Brazilian billionaire Joesley Batista, co-owner of JBS NV, met Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on November 23, urging him to step down peacefully.

Batista’s visit followed a phone call in which President Trump asked Maduro to leave power. Acting as an intermediary between the Trump administration and Venezuela’s government, Batista aims to ease political tensions.

His business empire centers on meat processing. The meeting represents a discreet effort to support a peaceful transition in Venezuela amid ongoing political unrest.

In cases like Venezuela, is external pressure from other countries justified to encourage leadership change?

You feel fine. But your body might be fighting a war you can't see.

It’s called chronic inflammation.

Doctors used to treat heart disease and dementia as separate problems. Now we know they share the same soil.

And it’s scary common.

93% of adults have signs of it.

It’s like a fire inside your walls. You don't see the flames, but the structure is getting weak.

The good news? You can put it out.

I’m sharing a report that breaks it all down.

It’s not just about "aging." It’s about the hidden system that controls your energy and your lifespan.

This report covers: • Why standard tests miss the warning signs. • The link between your gut and that brain fog you can't shake. • Simple ways to turn off the "alarm" without drugs.

Don't wait for a diagnosis.

It’s worth your time.

Private Payrolls Drop

U.S. private payrolls fell by 32,000 jobs in November 2025, driven by small businesses shedding 120,000 positions, notably 74,000 in firms with 20-49 employees. Larger businesses added 90,000 jobs.

Professional and business services lost 26,000 jobs; information, 20,000; manufacturing, 18,000; financial activities and construction, 9,000 each. Education and health services gained 33,000 jobs; leisure and hospitality, 13,000. Wage growth slowed to 4.4% year-over-year.

The report precedes the Federal Reserve’s December meeting, with a near 90% probability of a 0.25% rate cut amid labor softness and inflation above 2%. Official BLS data will be released December 16. Manufacturing growth slowed to 1.3% in Q3, affected by tariffs and rising costs for small firms.

The Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates soon to support the economy. Do you think lowering rates will help the labor market rebound?

Neurons' Fat-Burning Mechanism

Researchers found that brain neurons can burn fat for energy, overturning the belief they rely solely on sugar. Neurons produce fat internally by recycling cellular components via the protein DDHD2.

A malfunction in DDHD2 causes Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia 54 (HSP54), leading to impaired neuron energy and communication, causing movement and cognitive issues. Lab tests showed fatty acid supplements restored energy and function in damaged neurons within 48 hours.

Upcoming preclinical studies will test these supplements, aiming for human trials targeting HSP54 and other brain disorders. New brain imaging technologies will accelerate therapy development. This discovery revises neuroscience understanding and opens treatment possibilities for hereditary and other neurological diseases.

Living Computers

Researchers are developing biocomputers made from living human brain organoids capable of simple tasks like playing Pong and basic speech recognition. Advances in stem-cell-grown brain tissue, brain-computer interfaces, and AI funding have fueled progress.

Organoids mimic some brain functions but lack consciousness. Efforts to scale, improve reproducibility, and explore applications such as drug testing, epilepsy prediction, and environmental modeling are underway. Ethical and regulatory frameworks lag behind scientific advances, raising questions about intelligence, moral status, and governance of biohybrid machines.

Companies in the US, Switzerland, China, and Australia are commercializing biocomputers, with offerings including remote neural access and desktop devices. The field is emerging rapidly, prompting urgent debates on ethics and consciousness.

Should living human brain tissue used in biocomputers have legal or ethical protections distinct from traditional machines?
