Tensions Rise in Venezuela
The U.S. plans new operations against Venezuela to pressure Maduro’s government over drug trafficking, targeting the “Cartel de los Soles,” designated a terrorist group.
Since September, U.S. forces conducted 21 strikes on suspected drug boats, killing 83. The USS Gerald R. Ford carrier strike group deployed to the Caribbean. The FAA warned of risks over Venezuelan airspace, leading six airlines to suspend flights.
Maduro denies drug links, warns of resistance, amid military low morale and shortages. Washington doubled its reward for Maduro’s arrest to $50 million. Human rights groups criticize U.S. strikes for civilian harm.
Diplomatic channels remain open, but U.S. strategy and conflict risks persist amid regional instability concerns.
Given the risks, should the U.S. maintain or reduce its increased Caribbean military presence?Click to see live results and comment! |

Secret US-Russia Talks
The Trump administration proposed a 28-point peace plan demanding Ukraine cede territory, reduce its military to 600,000, and abandon NATO aspirations. Drafted secretly between Steve Witkoff and Kirill Dmitriev, Ukraine and European allies were excluded.
Europe countered with a plan capping Ukraine's military at 800,000, delaying territorial talks until a ceasefire, and seeking US security guarantees plus frozen Russian assets for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Ukraine rejected the US plan, insisting on peace before territorial changes.
US officials pressured Kyiv to accept by Thursday. Russia’s Putin tentatively supports the plan but objects to troop withdrawals. Erdogan plans talks with Putin. European officials hope to buy Ukraine more time amid ongoing conflict and internal Ukrainian pressures.

Most investors are busy reading earnings reports from last quarter.
But the guys running the companies are making moves right now.
This week, our algorithms caught two massive signals that paint a confusing picture for the market.
First, the CTO of a major semiconductor giant (you know the name) didn’t just sell a few shares to pay for a renovation. He dumped $4.1 million in stock.
Is he just cashing out? Or does he know the top is in?
Then we looked at the auto industry.
While everyone thinks the sector is dead, one top executive quietly increased his personal stake by 7.3% overnight.
He isn’t selling. He’s doubling down.
One is running for the exit. The other is digging in.
If you hold tech or auto stocks, you are flying blind without this data.
We tracked every name, every dollar, and every trade from this week in our latest report.
Stop guessing. See what the insiders are doing with their own money.
Data Exposure for JPMorgan, Citi, and Morgan Stanley
On November 12, mortgage services vendor SitusAMC experienced a large-scale cyberattack exposing sensitive residential loan data. Clients include JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Morgan Stanley, who were notified of potential compromise.
The breached data may involve Social Security numbers, loan applications, contracts, and accounting records. The FBI leads the investigation; no operational banking disruptions reported. SitusAMC, with 5,000 employees and private equity ownership, is still assessing damage.
The breach highlights systemic risks from reliance on a few key vendors for mortgage processing. A 2025 study found 97% of top 100 U.S. banks faced third-party breaches last year. Major banks are reviewing cybersecurity protocols following the incident.

Meta’s Child Safety Lawsuit
Meta faces a class-action lawsuit alleging it ignored and concealed harms to teens. Meta required 17 reports before removing sex trafficking accounts, allowing predators access.
Internal research showed millions of adult strangers contacted minors, with Instagram having 38 times more inappropriate adult-teen interactions than Facebook Messenger. Meta canceled a 2020 study showing reduced teen depression after time off Facebook. CEO Zuckerberg admitted child safety was not prioritized, delaying protective features over growth concerns.
By 2024, teen accounts became private by default. Meta targeted teens aggressively, with 216 million users of unknown age, many under 13. Algorithms increased teen engagement despite exposing them to harmful content. Meta denies allegations; court will hear document release in January 2026.

Garlic Mouthwash
Studies comparing 3% garlic extract mouthwash to 0.2% chlorhexidine found garlic reduces harmful oral bacteria within a week, sometimes matching or exceeding chlorhexidine’s effectiveness.
Garlic’s antimicrobial agent, allicin, targets bacteria, fungi, and viruses but is less effective against some pathogens like Porphyromonas gingivalis. Users report stronger burning sensations and unpleasant taste with garlic, though side effects are milder than chemical mouthwashes.
Garlic mouthwash can be made from fresh garlic, sold over-the-counter, and is recommended for limited daily use with water rinsing to reduce irritation. The global garlic extract market surpassed $15 billion in 2024. Further large-scale trials are needed to confirm long-term oral health benefits.

Diabetic Blindness
Researchers identified the protein LRG1 as an early trigger of diabetic retinopathy, causing retinal blood vessel tightening and oxygen reduction. Blocking LRG1 in diabetic mice prevented early retinal damage and preserved eye function.
Current treatments target VEGF but are effective in about 50% of patients and only after irreversible damage. An LRG1-blocking drug is in pre-clinical testing, with human trials anticipated soon. This therapy could enable earlier intervention and also help later-stage patients. Diabetic retinopathy affects nearly one-third of adults with diabetes.
The discovery, led by Greenwood and Moss who co-founded Senya Therapeutics, offers potential to prevent blindness and transform diabetic eye care globally as diabetes cases rise.
